Christine O’Donnell mistakenly targeted by IRS for a second time...

Let me guess. This isn't a random accident.

Via Washington Times:
Adding to the long-running saga of IRS dealings with conservatives, former Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell says the tax agency punished her mistakenly for the second time in five years by imposing an erroneous levy on her bank accounts.
Ms. O’Donnell told The Washington Times that she discovered the levy when she couldn’t access her checking account as she was preparing to visit relatives over Thanksgiving.
“The day before I was heading out of town for the Thanksgiving weekend, my bank told me the IRS had frozen my accounts. They didn’t give me a reason why, just a phone number to call,” Ms. O’Donnell said in an interview this week.

Delaware destroyed computer records of snooping into Christine O'Donnell's tax records...

This smells like a cover up. Paper records are bulky and difficult to store, but there is no reason to destroy computer records. it's actually more trouble than keeping them.

Via The Washington Times:
Delaware state officials have told Congress that they likely destroyed the computer records that would show when and how often they accessed Christine O'Donnell’s personal tax records and acknowledged that a newspaper article was used as the sole justification for snooping into the former GOP Senate candidate’s tax history.

The revelations to Sen. Chuck Grassley’s office came Tuesday as the Treasury Department’s inspector general for tax administration, the government’s chief watchdog for the Internal Revenue Service, formally reopened its investigation into the matter by re-interviewing Ms. O'Donnell.

Delaware Channel 28 Executive Producer Tim Qualls Sounded Like a Chris Coons Supporter in August

Christine O'Donnell tweeted about Delaware Channel 28 forgetting two times to air her 24 minute mega ad. She claimed she was told the station "forgot." Channel 28 executive producer Tim Qualls claims they didn't receive the tape in time to air the ad.
Tim Qualls, executive producer at Channel 28, said in an interview the ad did not air because O'Donnell's campaign did not bring a tape to the production studio by the agreed upon deadline. She reserved the time on Thursday, for $2,500, and agreed to bring a tape by Friday at 5 p.m., Qualls said.

Tim Qualls also said he was a Republican who planned to vote for O'Donnell until the ad controversy.
He said he is a Republican and had planned to vote for O'Donnell, but the tape situation changed his mind. "She's lost my vote," Qualls said.

Qualls does his own show on Channel 28 called 'The Tim Qualls Show.' On August 27, 2010, Qualls interviewed Chris Coons. Coons is currently Tim Qualls' County Executive. The video is posted on Channel 28's website. This is the most obsequious, fawning, softball interview ever. This interview would make Larry King blush. Some highlights of Qualls comments from the segment are:
Introducing the Coons interview
01:53 (six years) "When he came on and we met the family and fell in love with him..."
01:57 (speaking of Coons) "What a great man..."
04:23 (speaking of Coons) "My good friend..."
Interviewing Coons
Qualls lets Coons spend several minutes touting his accomplishments while he exclaims, "Holy cow!"
9:41 "You've done such a great job..."
9:48 "I don't feel bad now that you raised my taxes."
11:40 "Now I'm saying, wait a minute, I don't want to vote for you because I don't want you to leave..."
11:52 "It's important we get to Washington with that very same mindset that you are talking about..."
14:03 "I want to say what a fantastic job you did in County government and no matter where we can keep you in office, we need to keep you in office."

You decide if Tim Qualls sounds like a Christine O'Donnell voter.

After reportedly receiving over 200 emails and a lot of negative publicity, Channel 28 aired O'Donnell's ad today.

Public TV Station in Delaware Forgets to Air Christine O'Donnell Mega Ad Twice

What are the odds of this happening accidentally? Slim and none.

Even the Washington Post noticed this story.

Here is the ad Delaware Channel 28 must not want you to see.

Obama Rushes to Delaware This Weekend to Shore up Harry Reid's Pet

President Obama's official schedule doesn't mention a trip to Delaware this weekend, but Christine O'Donnell is closing the polling gap. Fear of an O'Donnell victory is causing President Obama to make an unplanned campaign stop to shore up Coons Harry Reid's pet.
RUSH: Obama is back to Delaware tomorrow. There is a new poll. The Monmouth University poll. Christine O’Donnell is within ten points. Two weeks ago she was down 57-38. She is within ten points. Coons has backed out of the final two debates, and in the Monmouth University poll, Christine O’Donnell is winning independents 47 to 42. In Delaware, there are a lot of Democrats fed up with the direction of the country who are going to vote Republican or who aren’t going to vote.

Democrats in Panic at Possibility of Christine O'Donnell Win

President Obama has spent time in Delaware and Democrats have focused a lot of attention and money on this race. If Christine O'Donnell has no chance, why is this? The truth is democrats are terrified O'Donnell will win. She has been gaining ground in recent polls and huge numbers of former Democrat voters appear to be pulling the straight Republican Party ticket this year.

Hill Buzz reported:
Yesterday, a poll went around showing Christine O’Donnell just five points behind Commie Coons in Delaware’s Senate race. This SORT OF explains the weird amount of time the White House has been spending in a slam dunk blue state.

But, Democrats are ferociously attacking CoD as hard as they attacked Scott Brown in Massachusetts. If she is so far behind, what is the point in beating up on this woman?

This is anecdotal, but I think I know why they are doing this…just like with Hottie McAwesome there are internals showing O’Donnell ahead.

Chris Coons may have lost the beard, but Christine O'Donnell still nails him as a Marxist

In last nights Delaware Senatorial debate, Christine O'Donnell and Chris Coons went after each other hard.

The NY Times reported:
A feisty, aggressive Ms. O’Donnell called Mr. Coons a Marxist whose beliefs came from a socialist professor and said he would “rubber stamp” the policies of the Democrats in Washington. Mr. Coons raised questions about whether Ms. O’Donnell’s faith would drive her positions on social issues like abortion, prayer and evolution.

Pressed by CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, Ms. O’Donnell refused to say whether she believed evolution was a myth, saying that “what I believe is irrelevant.”

As she did throughout the first half of the debate, Ms. O’Donnell quickly tried to return the focus to Mr. Coons, saying, “I would argue there are more people who support my Catholic faith than his Marxist belief.”

Chris Coons: "The Taxman"

Christine O’Donnell, Delaware Senate Candidate (R), is attacking her left-wing opponent, Chris Coons, for being a tax hiker in a recession. O’Donnell's best hope in this race is to make it about the issues and not her. This video ad is a good start.

Christine O'Donnell Ad: What I'm made of (video)

This ad frames Christine O'Donnell as the 'girl next door' candidate. It is actually pretty good, but is it enough?

Arianna Huffington: O’Donnell Supporters Have "Lizard Brains"

Liberals are so delusional they think their point of view is correct and anyone who disagrees must be mentally defective. Dictionary.com offers several definitions for liberal. Here are two.
7. free from prejudice or bigotry; tolerant: a liberal attitude toward foreigners.
8. open-minded or tolerant, esp. free of or not bound by traditional or conventional ideas, values, etc.

Modern liberals aren't even true to their own definition.

Video: Final Comments from first Christine O'Donnell (R) and Chris Coons (D) debate

Here are the closing comments from the first debate where Christine O'Donnell and Chris Coons go head-to-head on the same stage. Coons tries to avoid the Harry Reid's pet label by portraying himself as a local businessman and leader. Christine O'Donnell handles herself well and portrays herself as a Washington outsider and ordinary Delawarean.

NRSC will refuse to support O'Donnell in Delaware?

Christine O'Donnell defeated liberal Republican Mike Castle in the Delaware GOP Senate primary yesterday. Castle was heavily supported by the GOP establishment because he was considered a likely win by many. Unquestionably, O'Donnell has a steep hill to climb to win as a Conservative in a very red state. O'Donnell has been endorsed by Sarah Palin, Jim DeMint and other Tea Party favorites. Now, we are hearing, the National Republican Senatorial Committee won't be funding O'Donnell's uphill fight.
Republican aides told Fox News Tuesday that the National Republican Senatorial Committee will not be funding O'Donnell's general election campaign, leaving it up to Palin and the Tea Party Express to do the heavy lifting.

The NRSC issued a terse statement congratulating O'Donnell for her nomination "after a hard-fought primary campaign."

The NRSC has failed to learn from past mistakes. It isn't about gaining a majority at any cost. Castle is the most liberal member of the GOP caucus and has a voting record to the left of former RINO Arlen Specter. We all know how holding a majority based on a Democrat in Republicans clothing has worked out for the GOP in the past. Jumping Jim Jeffords comes to mind. The NRSC position may cause many Conservatives to consider giving their donation to the Tea Party instead of the GOP.

Update: NRSC claims they will send O'Donnell a check for $42,000.

PPP Poll: O’Donnell Leads Castle in GOP Delaware Senate Primary

Mike Castle was thought to be on the road to an easy win in the GOP Delaware Senate primary, but many Republicans are questioning his resolve to repeal Obamacare. Castle has also been accused of being in the pocket of lobbyists. Sarah Plain has thrown her considerable influence behind Castle's opponent Christine O’Donnell. The race is now too close to call.

PPP reported:
It looks like there’s a real possibility of a major upset in the Delaware Senate primary on Tuesday night, with insurgent conservative Christine O’Donnell leading longtime Congressman and Governor Mike Castle 47-44. That 3 point lead is well within the poll’s margin of error.

Sarah Palin Throws Support Behind Christine O’Donnell

It's probably too little, too late.

The Fix reported:

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) offered a last-minute endorsement of Christine O’Donnell in the Delaware GOP Senate primary. O’Donnell is the underdog against centrist Rep. Mike Castle and has received a series of press hits in recent days.
