Flashback to 2006: Senator Barack Obama Voted Against Raising Debt Ceiling
Actually, he wasn't alone. Every democratic Senator voted against raising the debt ceiling. I am sure their votes weren't motivated by politics.

Remember the white candidate who was asked for his birth certificate?
When citizens ask to see President Obama's vault copy long form birth certificate, Obama supporters and the mainstream media get outraged and accuse them of being racists. They have labeled citizens, who are concerned about the Constitution being followed, the derisive name of "Birthers". The mainstream media would lead you believe nobody would challenge the eligibility or birth certificate of a white candidate or President. Those allegations are factually incorrect. 2008 GOP Presidential Candidate John McCain's eligibility was called into question by none other than the "birthers" at the New York Times. They ran multiple stories about McCain's potential lack of natural born citizen status.
Additionally, lawsuits claiming McCain was not eligible were filed and eventually dismissed by the courts for lack of standing. John McCain's long form birth certificate was released during this time. Here is a vault long form copy of John McCain's birth certificate from Wikimedea Commons.
See how easy that was President Obama? Incidentally, McCain's short form was also released, but it lacked information such as the hospital McCain was born in. Obama's short form has the same deficiencies.
Were the people who questioned McCain's eligibility reverse racists? Where was the media outrage? Why is there a double standard?
Mr. McCain’s likely nomination as the Republican candidate for president and the happenstance of his birth in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936 are reviving a musty debate that has surfaced periodically since the founders first set quill to parchment and declared that only a “natural-born citizen” can hold the nation’s highest office. The Senate considered the issue worthy of a vote declaring John McCain is eligible to be President. Senator Barack Obama co-sponsored the resolution.
Additionally, lawsuits claiming McCain was not eligible were filed and eventually dismissed by the courts for lack of standing. John McCain's long form birth certificate was released during this time. Here is a vault long form copy of John McCain's birth certificate from Wikimedea Commons.

Senator Obama Promised a State of the World Speech if Elected. Where is it?
In an anti-Iraq war speech at DePaul University on October 2, 2007, Senator Obama promised to give an annual State of the World address if he was elected.
I will always tell the American people the truth. I will always tell you where I stand. It's what I'm doing in this campaign. It's what I'll do as President. I'll lead a new era of openness. I'll give an annual "State of the World" address to the American people in which I lay out our national security policy. I'll draw on the legacy of one our greatest Presidents - Franklin Roosevelt - and give regular "fireside webcasts," and I'll have members of my national security team do the same.
This is a campaign promise, made by then Senator Obama, that President Obama has failed to keep. May of the promises he made are difficult to deliver because they require Congress to enact legislation. This promise only requires President Obama to set up his teleprompter and assemble the press. Not only has Obama failed to deliver on this promise, the full video of this speech has been scrubbed from his website. This promise made by Senator Obama has been thrown down a dark hole without any explanation or discussion in the media. Why wouldn't Obama keep such an obviously easy promise? President Obama has been accused by many of being too global; even to the point of being un-American. This perception was heightened after President Obama made his July 2009 speech in Berlin. The many in the press dubbed it 'The New World Order' speech. Although, Obama never used those exact words in the speech, he did highlight his belief in global citizenship. Under the current depressed economic conditions, most voters are more concerned about the economy than global citizenship. Don't look for President Obama to fulfill the 'State of the World' address speech promise anytime soon.

Obama wants clean process for Sotomayor, but voted to filibuster Alito

Obama wants a clean process for Sotomayor, but voted to filibuster Alito in January 2006. Senator Obama was one of only 24 Democratic Senators to vote to filibuster the Supreme Court nomination of now-Justice Samuel Alito. What a hypocrite. From ABC News:
President Obama's expressed hope today in his weekly address "that we can avoid the political posturing and ideological brinksmanship that has bogged down this (Supreme Court nomination) process, and Congress, in the past" runs against another historical first for the 44th president: his unique role in history as the first US President to have ever voted to filibuster a Supreme Court nominee.
So while there is little indication Republicans intend to filibuster President Obama's nominee for the Supreme Court, Judge Sonia Sotomayor, the GOP will likely invoke the President's unique history whenever he calls their tactics into question.
In January 2006, then-Sen. Obama joined 24 colleagues in a futile effort led by Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., to filibuster the Supreme Court nomination of now-Justice Samuel Alito.
