Obvious: IRS targeted groups for having anti-Obama materials in their applications or on their websites...

Someone needs to go to prison for this outrageous persecution by the IRS of conservative and Tea Party political groups.  Where is Lois Lerner anyway?

Via USA Today:
Newly uncovered IRS documents show the agency flagged political groups based on the content of their literature, raising concerns specifically about ”anti-Obama rhetoric,” inflammatory language and “emotional” statements made by non-profits seeking tax-exempt status.
The internal 2011 documents, obtained by USA TODAY, list 162 groups by name, with comments by Internal Revenue Service lawyers in Washington raising issues about their political, lobbying and advocacy activities. In 21 cases, those activities were characterized as “propaganda.”
The list provides the most specific public accounting to date of which groups were targeted for extra scrutiny and why. The IRS has not publicly identified the groups, repeatedly citing a provision of the tax code prohibiting it from releasing tax return information. [...]
Five groups were flagged as having “anti-Obama” materials in their applications or on their websites.

Master Sgt. being punished by Army for anti-Obama bumper stickers on his car, reading books written by conservative authors

Change comes to the Army...

Via FOX:
A veteran member of the U.S. Army Band said he is facing retribution and punishment from the military for having anti-Obama bumper stickers on his car, reading books written by conservative authors like Mark Levin and David Limbaugh, and serving Chick-fil-A sandwiches at his promotion party.

Master Sgt. Nathan Sommers, a 25-year Army veteran and conservative Christian based at Fort Myer in Washington, believes his outspoken opposition to gay marriage prompted higher-ups to take a closer look at his beliefs. The recipient of an Army Commendation Medal and a soloist at the funeral of former First Lady Betty Ford, Sommers said his core beliefs are enough to mark a soldier for persecution in today’s military.

“It seems like with the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell – that the Christians have been the ones who’ve had to go underground and in the closet – for fear of retaliation and reprisals,” Sommers told Fox News. “Christians feel like they can’t be forthright with their faith. They have to hide.”
Ret. Navy Commander John Bennett Wells is representing the master sergeant. He said there is no doubt in his mind that the U.S. military is discriminating against Christians – and specifically his client.

Obama supporters vandalize "Repeal Obama" billboard

Where are the stories of Tea Party vandalism? That's what I thought.

Via Breitbart News:
Vandals defaced a Sarasota County Republican Party anti-Obama billboard over the weekend in Venice, Florida, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune:
Vandals this past weekend extensively damaged a Sarasota County Republican Party billboard with the message “Repeal Obama.”
At about 8 a.m. Sunday, Sarasota GOP Chairman Joe Gruters said he received an email notifying him about the damage to the sign at the U.S. 41 Bypass and Center Road.
Someone with a cutting instrument removed the word “Repeal,” the GOP’s website address and its financial disclosure statement but left the word “Obama.”
“This wasn’t kids,” Gruters said. “It wasn’t an easy job.”

Bakery turned down Biden visit. Promptly runs out of cookie dough due to increased business

This bakery is in Ohio. It looks like the owner isn't the only one who doesn't like the Obama-Biden ticket.
Chris McMurray had just opened his bakery, Crumb and Get It, Wednesday morning when he received a visit from Biden’s advance team asking if he’d host the vice president for a media event on the way to his scheduled speech at Virginia Tech.

McMurray politely declined out of a difference in politics, and Biden instead went up the street to the River Street Grill instead.

Later that day, WDBJ (Channel 7) reporter Orlando Salinas received a tip about Crumb and Get It via text message. The resulting story was picked up by the Drudge Report and a series of conservative blogs, leading to an outpouring of support online and at the store on Thursday.

At noon, McMurray turned down an interview request because he was too busy fielding a steady stream of orders, both from customers at the store and out-of-state patrons. A little more than an hour later, he closed the store because it had run out of cookie dough. It reopened a few minutes later, but with a sign in the window noting that only ice cream was being sold.

Barack Obama's half-brother "George Obama" is appearing in anti-Obama film (video)

Via The Hollywood Reporter:
Barack Obama’s half-brother, George Obama, is about to make his film debut, and in a feature-length documentary that is critical of the president, no less.
In the movie, 2016: Obama’s America, based on Dinesh D’Souza’s best-selling book The Roots of Obama’s Rage, D’Souza refers to a news report four years ago about George Obama living in a hut in Nairobi, Kenya, “like something out of Slumdog Millionaire.” He’s intrigued, so he tracks him down. [...]
The focus of the movie, though, is the alleged anger at colonialism that President Obama inherited from his (and George’s) father.
As D’Souza puts it in the book: “This philandering, inebriated African socialist, who raged against the world for denying him the realization of his anti-colonial ambitions, is now setting the nation’s agenda through the reincarnation of his dreams in his son.”
D’Souza, therefore, presses that theory with George Obama, and seems to get agreement from him, as the president's brother argues that Kenya has fallen behind since its independence.
D’Souza clearly enjoys getting to know George Obama and at one point during the interview (though not in the above clip), he jokes that America elected the wrong Obama to be its president.

This is making the rounds on Facebook

This picture an anti-Obama bumper sticker is making the rounds on Facebook. Reportedly, it is reportedly being sold by a Tampa Florida man. It is inappropriate. There are plenty of ways to criticize Obama without this.

Strange: Obama skips 18 of top 20 questions on drug war, but answers questions about late-night snacks, dancing and his tennis skills

President Obama participated in an online "conversation" Monday. 18 of the top 20 rated questions related to marijuana legalization or the drug war. Obama skipped them and talked about what he likes when he has the munchies.
WASHINGTON, DC -- President Barack Obama in an online "conversation" with American voters on Monday, failed to answer a barrage of questions about marijuana legalization or the drug war.

Although 18 out of 20 of the most popular questions submitted by voters via YouTube were about the drug war or pot, the president in his 45-minute post-State of the Union chat didn't address a single one...

While the president did find time to talk about a whole host of less weighty questions, including ones about late-night snacks, dancing and his tennis skills, a response to a top-rated question submitted by Stephen Downing, the retired deputy chief of police in Los Angeles, was conspicuously absent.

Anti-Obama group that flew “Impeach Obama” Banner over this year’s Rose Bowl Parade plan to do the same at Super Bowl

I wish them luck, but security restrictions may prevent them from implementing their plan.
“Impeach Obama” Banner May Fly Over Super Bowl

A group of anti-Obama Facebook groups are planning to fly an “Impeach Obama” Banner over this year’s Super Bowl.

The groups, Impeach Obama Tea Party, Stop Obama Now-San Diego, and Boycott Oprah, say they recently flew the banner over the Rose Bowl Parade Jan. 2. Here’s a video:

Anti-Obama Merchandise Outselling Pro-Obama Merchandise 4-1

It has become cool to be anti-Obama.
(TheDC) — This past week, anti-Obama merchandise outpaced sales of pro-Obama merchandise 79 percent to 21 percent at the online clothing store CafePress, which has been tracking sales of election-relevant items.
CafePress, an online custom merchandise shop, launched its 2012 “Election Meter” at the beginning of November but has been tracking the trends in candidate merchandise sales since April.

According to the clothier, the “Meter” successfully predicted President Obama’s victory in 2008. This week’s data represents a stark contrast to Obama’s sales during the 2008 election cycle.

New Anti-Obama Billboard: Change me. I stink. (video)

President Obama supporters are outraged at a billboard and several signs put up by a New Orleans man. One depicts Obama in a diaper with the caption, "Change me. I stink." One moonbat councilwoman called the police. They couldn't do anything because free speech is protected for now.

NEW ORLEANS -- There are several political signs attracting all kinds of attention in one Uptown neighborhood.

On Wednesday, crowds gathered at the corner of Calhoun and Coralie streets, looking at several signs depicting President Barack Obama as either a dunce, a puppet or a crying baby in a diaper...

The signs have created such a firestorm of controversy, though, that police came to the scene-- called in by City Council Member Susan Guidry. She represents the district where the home is located. Guidry said she was concerned about public safety and was trying to figure out if the sign was even legal. She also said she spoke to Reily, but didn't get far.
