The IRS has a new job for Lois Lerner

They need 3,200 hard drives destroyed. Lois Lerner is perfect.

Days after IRS officials said in a sworn statement that former top agency employee Lois G. Lerner’s computer memory had been wiped clean, the agency put out word to contractors Monday that it needs help to destroy at least another 3,200 hard drives.
The Internal Revenue Service solicitation for “media destruction” services reflects an otherwise routine job to protect sensitive taxpayer information, but it was made while the agency’s record destruction practices remain under a sharp congressional spotlight.
Congressional investigators of the IRS targeting of conservative groups have been hampered by the unexplained destruction of emails and other records of Ms. Lerner, the former head of the IRS tax-exempt division and a central figure in the scandal.
The loss of Ms. Lerner’s hard drive also raised broader questions about why the tax agency never reported the missing records to the National Archives and Records Administration, as required by the Federal Records Act.

According to a report from the website www.apsa2011.com, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS) has destroyed Assyrian statues and artifacts believed to be 3000 years old.
The Assyrian archaeological artifacts were illegally excavated from the Tell Ajaja site.

Looting of Assyrian artifacts was also carried out in Iraq soon after 2003 by Al-Qaeda, which sold the artifacts to finance its operations. The looting occurred at the Baghdad Museum (AINA 2003-04-19) as well as archaeological sites which were left unguarded as a result of the collapse of the government of Saddam Hussein (AINA 2005-02-17).

Frightening: Muslim Brotherhood Leader Calls For Egyptian Army to Prepare For War With Israel

The Muslim Brotherhood has been touted by liberals and the media as nonviolent. Don't be fooled. They are hardcore Islamists who would like nothing better than to destroy Israel and the West.

Mohamed Ghanem, one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, calls Egypt to stop pumping gas to Israel and prepare the Egyptian army for a war with it’s eastern neighbor.

Speaking with Iranian television station Al-Alam, Mohamed Ghanem blamed Israel for supporting Hosni Mubarak’s regime. Ghanem also said that the Egyptian police and army won’t be able to stop the Muslim Brotherhood movement.

There are doubts about the loyalty of the Egyptian army to president Mubarak. If the brotherhood takes control over Egypt, it will be very messy from the whole region.

Egyptian Protester: When Egypt is free they will be able to “destroy Israel.”

Hosni Mubarak qualifies as a petty dictator because he quashes the opposition. He did win the last election with 80% of the vote, but anyone getting 80% in a democratic election is likely committing vote fraud. On the other hand, Mubarak doesn't seem to be pursuing a nuclear weapon and he is willing to deal with Israel diplomatically instead of with terrorism or military force. This creates a real problem for the U.S. diplomatically. If Mubarak goes, who takes power. The next biggest political party in Egypt is the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamic transnational movement committed to unifying Arab states under an Islamic Caliphate. They are no friend of Israel. The protester in the CNN video brings it home.

Then the guy that follows them takes it up a notch by explaining that when the people in Egypt are finally free they will be able to “destroy Israel.”

However, according to opensecrets.org, the 2nd largest contributor in 2008 to Patriot Majority was SEIU and other top Unions around America.

The Stimulus is Actually Destroying Jobs?

President Obama loves to claim the stimulus bill is creating jobs. He is now claiming more than one million created or saved. Many local newspapers and media outlets have analyzed Team Obama's data and are claiming much of the alleged job creation is inflated, erroneous or just plain made up.



Louis Woodhill at Real Clear Markets claims the massive bond sales forced by the stimulus spending are actually killing jobs. I have excerpted a small portion of the article below. You can read more at Real Clear Markets.

Economic growth is supposed to create jobs. However, the U.S. economy shed twice as many jobs (1,332,000) in the third quarter of 2009, when GDP grew at a robust 3.5% annual rate, than it did in the second quarter (691,000), when the economy contracted at a 0.7% rate.

How can this be? To paraphrase the 1992 Clinton campaign, "It's the bonds, stupid!"

The massive sales of U.S. Treasury bonds to finance "stimulus", bailouts, and other government spending is sucking capital out of the private sector and destroying jobs. Once again, the October 6th BLS report tells the tale.

Blogs and Cable are Destroying Obamacare?

There is no doubt many people are very passionate about the direction President Obama is trying to take America. That passion is very evident in the health care debate. Obama said,

"what's different today is that the 24 hour news cycle and cable television and blogs and all this, they focus on the most extreme elements on both sides,"

Blog readers and cable news show watchers are the "most extreme elements" in America? I thought that was ACORN and the SEIU.

Left Wing Democrats Plan to Put Private Health Insurance Out of Business

Liberal Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) has admitted that Obama's health care plan will put private health insurance out of business. This video went viral on YouTube and was allegedly removed at the request of Democrats. The video is back up for now. Here is the video:
