President Obama has ignored his African family line. President Obama doesn't help any of his relatives in Kenya. This poor grandmother of 90 years still lives in absolute poverty in a small village in Kenya and she gets no help at all from Obama. Obama's half brother George Obama still lives in the slums in Kenya and gets no help at all from his elder brother Barack Obama the president of the richest country on earth which is very sad. The American presidency can never buy you a new family line so if you ignore your family line just because of your position then you are not being a good person at all. I used to like Obama a lot. I still like him but not that much why because Obama ignores his poor African relatives. I still believe blood is thicker than water.

I remember in 2008 when Obama was doing very bad in the polls, he left the campaign trail and came all the way to the poor village in Kenya to see his grandmother just to get "Sympathy votes" and then he started ignoring them once he won the presidency. Even he did not want to invite any of his family members in Kenya to attend his inauguration. It became a very hot topic on cnn before Obama decided to invite just a few of them to attend his inauguration at the very last minute which is very bad.

Obama's grandfather had converted to Islam from Roman Catholicism and taken the name Hussein, Sarah Obama said, but his children had inherited only the name, not the religion. Each person should be able to choose how they worshipped, she said.

"In the world of today, children have different religions from their parents," she said. She, too, is a Christian.

President Obama's paternal grandmother attended Hajj in Mecca this year and prayed for his conversion to Islam.

U.S. President Barack Obama's Kenyan grandmother says she prayed during a hajj pilgrimage to Mecca for the American leader to convert to Islam.

'I prayed for my grandson Barack to convert to Islam,' said Sarah Omar, 88, in an interview with Al-Watan Saudi daily held in Jeddah after she had performed hajj.

The paper said that Omar was in Saudi Arabia on pilgrimage along with her son, Obama's uncle Saeed Hussein Obama, and four of her grandchildren.

Omar told the newspaper that she could only discuss hajj matters and would not comment on Obama's politics.

This is just another example of the lies and deceptions the mainstream media disseminated in order to get Barack Obama elected President.

Obama invokes grandmother's death to support ObamaCare, but failed to attend her service

President Obama brought up his grandmother's death to convince people Democrats don't want to 'pull the plug' on the elderly.

"She's the one who taught me about hard work," he told a packed stadium in Denver the night he accepted the Democratic presidential nomination. "She's the one who put off buying a new car or a new dress for herself so that I could have a better life.

Madelyn Dunham passed away two days before the election.

HONOLULU - Barack Obama's grandmother, whose personality and bearing shaped much of the life of the Democratic presidential contender, has died, Obama announced Monday, one day before the election. Madelyn Payne Dunham was 86.

Obama announced the news from the campaign trail in Charlotte, North Carolina. The joint statement with his sister Maya Soetoro-Ng said Dunham died peacefully late Sunday night after a battle with cancer.

President-elect Barak Obama decided to rest in Chicago after his grandmother's death.

Obama's maternal grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, died in Honolulu at 86 after a long illness. As a youngster, he called her Toot, from the Hawaiian word ''tutu,'' which means grandmother.

Obama planned to stay home in Chicago this weekend, with a blackout on news announcements so that he and his staff can rest after a grueling campaign and the rush of their victory Tuesday night. No plans for Dunham's funeral or memorial service have been announced.

Madelyn Dunham was cremated. A memorial service was held on November 15, 2008, but Barack Obama and his close family members were missing.

At the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl, in Honolulu Friday, at a memorial service for friends and co-workers, President-elect Obama's grandmother Madelyn Dunham -- who died the Sunday night before her grandson was elected president -- was eulogized as a strong woman.

There will be a private memorial for family members later this year.

Obama and his half-sister Maya Soetoro-Ng sent a letter read by Al Landon, chief executive officer of the Bank of Hawaii, where Dunham had worked.

Dunham was cremated, but it's not yet clear what will become of her ashes.

Barack Obama failed to attend the service of the grandmother who helped raise him. No member of his immediate family showed up to honor the woman he said, "put off buying a new car or a new dress for herself so that I could have a better life." Many people fail to attend family members funeral services because they can't afford to travel, can't get off work or are too ill to make the trip. None of these reasons apply to Obama.
