DNC Chief Wasserman Schultz Thinks “Tea Party Extremists” Are “Unhinged”…

Debbie  Wasserman Schultz should know unhinged when she sees it. She has lived it for years...
WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: You’re right. And that process needs to be fixed. But last night you have Republican tea party extremists actually celebrating on the House Floor, publicly celebrating that they got — Michele Bachmann said she got everything she wanted.
You have other Republicans who have said they’re delighted over shutting the government down. What we need to do is come together. And let me just give you an analogy here. This is — there’s clear evidence that the tail is wagging the dog and you have got Republicans on the other side who are irrational and not playing with a full deck.
Would you — if you didn’t like the redesign of your kitchen, would you burn the whole house down or would you try to make modifications to the kitchen? These people have come unhinged.

DNC Debbie Wasserman Schultz: Republicans are rooting for a bad economy...

Actually, Republicans are rooting for a return of sanity among Democrats. The current high spending anti-business environment in Washington is not sustainable.  Take a look at Europe.

Via Politico:
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said Sunday that Republicans seemed to be rooting for sluggish growth.
“Our friends on the other side of the aisle, unfortunately — like the senator — continue to root for our economy to not be doing as well,” the Florida congresswoman on ABC’s “This Week.”
“We’ve had 37 straight months of job growth in the private sector. Four of the last five months have been 200,000 plus jobs a month,” she said.
“Absolutely not. That is false,” bristled Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), responding to her suggestion that Republicans have been “rooting” for slow growth.

Payback: Republicans to hold counter-convention outside Democrats Charlotte party

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz actually crashed the RNC convention in Tampa. VP Joe Biden was planning on going to Tampa during the convention. He was scared off by Isaac and this Hooters sign. In recent history, political parties have ceased fire during the opposing parties convention. President Obama broke that tradition and now it's payback time.

Via ABC's The Note:
As many as 50 “communicators” will travel straight from the Republican convention, which wrapped up Tuesday in Tampa, up to Charlotte, where Democrats kick off their convention in earnest on Tuesday, according to a plan provided to ABC News.

Primetime speakers from the Republican event who will travel up to Charlotte include RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and Govs. Nikki Haley of South Carolina and Mary Fallin of Oklahoma. They’ll hone in on a theme – “Obama Isn’t Working” – and offer rapid response, daily videos to counter the Democrats’ message.

It will be an effort full of gimmicks, including a Romney-Ryan NASCAR race car – number 12 for 2012, of course.

And while Democrats have happily made light of Mitt Romney’s “Etch A Sketch” foible, Republicans will bring their own toys, including “You Build It” Legos and “You Build It” Monopoly.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz criticizes Republicans for having convention during Hurricane Isaac

She does know President Obama didn't drop everything he was dong and rush to a WH command center. Doesn't she?
TAMPA, Fla. — Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the DNC and a Florida congresswoman, dinged Republicans on Thursday for not scaling back their convention further out of respect for Americans caught in the path of Hurricane Isaac.
“They could have taken things down a notch,” Wasserman Schultz said at a Democratic press conference rebutting the Republican convention. “I think it probably was an example of their continued focus on winning at all costs.”
While she said she agreed with the RNC’s decision to scrub the convention’s first day because of safety concerns, “parties and the special interest-funded bashes” still were held “in spite of the fact that our state was getting hit and Tampa was still in the path of the storm.”
“I give them credit for canceling the first day,” she said. “The way they handled it going forward while the rest of the region is getting battered … you know, probably a challenging situation for them. There are other ways they could have handled it other than the path they chose.”

DNC Chair Debbie (Downer) Wasserman Shultz crashes RNC convention

As hard as it is to believe, someone married this vile creature...

Via Red Alert Politics:
Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair and Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz made a surprise visit to the Republican National Convention Center (RNC) in Tampa Thursday afternoon.
Shultz somehow made it through the massive security perimeter of the convention and into the convention center where the press corps is being housed this week. The convention center is next door to the Tampa Times Forum where the official RNC activities are taking place.
Dozens of reporters crowded Shultz, who was wearing a distinguishable pink suit, as she walked down the hallway of the convention center and into the Google Lounge set up inside the bloggers room. Shultz made a brief statement to cameras inside the Google Lounge about the need to support the nation’s veterans, and then promptly walked out of the room. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) also spoke at the briefing about the war in Afghanistan.

Fisking Obama's weird basketball analogy...

My comments in red.
“I can’t resist a basketball analogy, (I am surprised it isn't a golf analogy)” Obama told the crowd, according to a White House pool report.  “We are in the fourth quarter.  We’re up by a few points (not according to polls of likely voters) but the other side is coming on strong (Paul Ryan for the win) and they play a little dirty.(Talk about the issues instead of made up distractions and divisiveness)

“We’ve got a few folks on our team in foul trouble.(Joe Biden) We’ve got a couple of (Brain) injuries (Debbie Wasserman-Schultz), and I believe that they’ve got one last run in them. (And it will last to November 6)

“I’d say there’s about seven minutes to go in the game.  And [Michael Jordan's] competitiveness is legendary (Jordan is a has been), and nobody knows better than Michael that if you’ve got a little bit of a lead (Quit believing +7 Democrat polls) and there’s about seven minutes to go — that’s when you put them away. (Not going to happen)

Wolf Blitzer Schools Wasserman Schultz Over Her Claim Ryan Plan Would Affect Medicare For Current Seniors

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz makes a complete fool put of herself. She keeps claiming the Ryan budget would cost current seniors more money and tells Blitzer she will explain how, but she never does. Downer Debbie is mentally challenged or something.

Unlikely: DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has no idea the political affiliation of the pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA

The pants on fire meter is pegged out...

Via The Blaze:
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said she has “no idea the political affiliation” of the pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA — even thought it was started by two former Obama aides and has received fundraising support from administration officials.

The Florida congresswoman appeared on “Fox News Sunday” and was asked about the super PAC’s now-famous “cancer” ad that implies Mitt Romney was responsible for the death of a former steelworker’s wife.

DNC paid female staff members 15 percent less than male

Hypocrites...

Via WFB:
Female employees of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) earn significantly less than their male counterparts, a Washington Free Beacon analysis has found.
A review of salary data filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) revealed that the DNC paid female staff members $501 less on average than male staffers in July 2012, a difference of 15 percent.
The DNC’s 119 female employees earned $3,342 on average in the month of July, compared to $3,843 for its 113 male employees. On an annualized basis, the average female DNC employee would earn roughly $6,000 less than her male coworkers.
The median female salary ($2,926) for July was also about 15 percent less than the median male salary ($3,370).

DNC Chief Wasserman-Schultz Lies? "Hilary Rosen does not now nor has she ever worked during my tenure for the Democratic National Committee"

DNC Chief Wasserman-Schultz claims Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen hasn't worked for her during her tenure at the DNC.

The Republican National Committee calls BS on Wasserman-Schultz
Controversial Democratic strategist and CNN contributor, Hilary Rosen, was hired by DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz to coach her on media appearances.[...]

"Hillary Rosen is absolutely not a paid adviser to the DNC or to the Obama campaign, absolutely not," he said.

But Republicans at the Republican National Committee, have already pulled data on payments made by the DNC to Rosen.

"DNC has paid $120,000 to Rosen's firm since 2011 for both a "communications consultant" and "media consultant," tweeted Joe Pounder, the director at the RNC, "Sounds like Dunn and Rosen."

DNC Chief Wasserman Schultz: Weinergate is a "Personal Matter"

Cartoon by Antonio Branco, “ComicallyIncorrect.com”

If Rep. Weiner were a Republican, he would have already been forced resigned by his colleagues and the Republican Party. Fortunately for Rep. Weiner, he is a Democrat and former President Bill Clinton set the 'bar of shame' for sexual indiscretions so high for Democrats, a Democrat would have to caught raping an underage child to be disowned by their party. Not only is DNC Chief Wasserman-Schultz not calling for Rep. Weiner to resign, she doesn't even think Weinergate is a topic for discussion.
Washington (CNN) — Members of the House Democratic leadership have talked repeatedly to Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-New York, to try to get him to end what several Democrats call an unwelcome political distraction, a member of the party’s leadership tells CNN.
. . . Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Florida, the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, calls this “a personal matter.”
“It’s his twitter account. It’s his deal. It’s personal. It’s not something that’s appropriate for another member to comment on. It’s something he is dealing with personally and that’s where I think it should be left,” Wasserman Schultz told CNN.
