Eric Holder used a private email address?

Highly suspicious...

Via Sharyl Attkisson:
As to whether Holder himself ever used personal email for government business, the Justice Department isn’t saying. A spokesman did not respond to requests for information about Holder’s email practices.
In Justice Department emails turned over in a federal Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, Holder’s email name is redacted with no explanation. It’s unknown whether the redactions conceal use of an email address that does not belong to an official government account.
Fast and Furious-related emails between Holder and his wife Sharon Malone, and his mother, are currently being withheld under executive privilege invoked by President Obama.

Eric Holder see no reason to use Islamic when referring to ISIS terrorists...

He also criticized Fox News for pointing out the truth.

Via Breitbart:
Tuesday at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., while commenting on controversy over the Obama administration’s refusal to call ISIS radical Islamic terrorists, Attorney General Eric went after Fox News Channel for even discussing it.
Holder said, “We spend more time, more time, talking about what do you call it, as opposed to what are you going to do about it. I mean really, if Fox News didn’t talk about this, they would have nothing else to talk about, it seems to me.  Radical Islam, Islamic extremism,  I’m not sure an awful lot is gained by saying it. It doesn’t have any impact on our military posture. What we call it doesn’t have any impact on the polices we put in place.”
“The terminology, it seems to me, has little to no impact on what ultimately we have to do.” he concluded.
Eric Holder should also oppose hate crime laws based on his above position. After all, not an awful lot is gained by naming a murder a hate crime. It's already against the law to murder someone.

Report: Man accused of killing two California sheriff’s deputies is here illegally and was twice deported...

This appears to be a consequence of failure to enforce our immigration laws. The blood of these two slain officers is on the hands of Barack Obama, Eric Holder and especially Jerry Brown who earlier this year said to Mexican illegals, "You are all welcome here." (See video)

Via Daily Caller:
Marcelo Marquez, the man accused to killing two sheriff’s deputies in California was in the country illegally and had been deported twice to Mexico — once in 1997, and again in 2001.
Marquez, 34, is accused of killing two sheriff’s deputies Friday during a 6-hour crime spree in northern California.
And Marcelo Marquez is not even his real name, it’s actually Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE filed paperwork Saturday to ensure he is turned over to immigration officials if he is ever released, though that is unlikely.
“Monroy-Bracamonte was first deported to Mexico in 1997 following his arrest and conviction in Arizona for possession of narcotics for sale; he was arrested and returned to Mexico a second time in 2001,” the Sacramento Bee reports.
Monroy-Bracamonte was booked on two counts of murder, attempted murder and carjacking under the false name he gave authorities. His wife, Janelle Marquez Monroy, 38, also faces a charge of attempted murder as well as two counts of carjacking.
The couple is held without bail and expected to make their first court appearance Tuesday.

Fast and Furious emails “Vaughn index” shows Valerie Jarrett role....

After Holder was busted for lying to Congress,  Valerie Jarrett and Holder started exchanging emails. When the truth is known, I expect Valerie Jarrett will be a key player in all the lawless escapades of the Obama administration.

Via Judicial Watch:
Practically lost in the 1,000-plus pages of records is an index that shows Jarrett was brought in to manage the fact that Holder lied to Congress after the story about the disastrous gun-running operation broke in the media. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) ran the once-secret program that allowed guns from the U.S. to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels. Instead, federal law enforcement officers lost track of hundreds of weapons which have been used in an unknown number of crimes, including the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Arizona.
The files received by JW include three electronic mails between Holder and Jarrett and one from former U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke to Jarrett. The e-mails with Holder are all from October 4, 2011, a significant date because, on the evening of October 3rd, Sheryl Attkisson (then at CBS news) released documents showing that Holder had been sent a briefing paper on Operation Fast and Furious on June 5, 2010. The paper was from the director of the National Drug Intelligence Center, Michael Walther.
This directly contradicted Holder’s May 3, 2011 testimony to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, during which he stated that he, “probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.”

Dubious: Obama admin claims Eric Holder's Fast and Furious emails to his wife and mother are covered under executive privilege

There is no end to the lies and false claims the Obama administration will make. they completely lack ethics or character.

Via Judicial Watch:
Judicial Watch announced today that it received from the Obama Department of Justice (DOJ) a “Vaughn index” detailing records about the Operation Fast and Furious scandal.  The index was forced out of the Obama administration thanks to JW’s June 2012 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and subsequent September 2012 FOIA lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. Department of Justice (No. 1:12-cv-01510)).  A federal court had ordered the production over the objections of the Obama Justice Department.
The document details the Attorney General Holder’s personal involvement in managing the Justice Department’s strategy on media and Congressional investigations into the Fast and Furious scandal.  Notably, the document discloses that emails between Attorney General Holder and his wife Sharon Malone – as well as his mother – are being withheld under an extraordinary claim of executive privilege as well as a dubious claim of deliberative process privilege under the Freedom of Information Act.  The “First Lady of the Justice Department” is a physician and not a government employee.
This is the first time that the Obama administration has provided a detailed listing of all records being withheld from Congress and the American people about the deadly Fast and Furious gun running scandal. The 1307-page “draft” Vaughn index was emailed to Judicial Watch at 8:34 p.m. last night, a few hours before a federal court-ordered deadline.  In its cover letter, the Department of Justice asserts that all of the responsive records described in the index are “subject to the assertion of executive privilege.”

Interesting: Incriminating DOJ Fast and Furious documents released, Eric Holder's top deputy suddenly resigns...

This could get very interesting...
On Thursday, James Cole, the top deputy at the Department of Justice and one of those under consideration as a replacement to the resigning Eric Holder, suddenly announced his resignation. The timing is more than slightly curious. It came immediately following the release and analysis of documents which show that two Americans were injured in 2013 by a weapon which was part of the DOJ’s Mexican cartel armament scheme, Fast and Furious.
Judicial Watch forwarded the documents to Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) and Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA), the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. The documents show that two people were wounded in a Phoenix-area crime in which a weapon purchased by a Fast and Furious operative was used.
On Thursday, Issa and Grassley notified Deputy Attorney General James Cole of the linkage between the weapon, their gun-running adventure and the two injured Americans.  A short time later Cole announced his resignation, stating as his reason an apparent urgent desire to work in the public sector.
Grassley and Issa wrote, “Based on the serial number from the police report obtained by Judicial Watch and documents obtained during our Fast and Furious investigation, we can confirm that the assault rifle recovered in the vehicle on July 30, 2013 was purchased by Sean Christopher Steward. Steward pled guilty to firearms trafficking charges resulting from his involvement with Operation Fast and Furious.”

Tweets of the Day: RINO Graham vs. Conservative Gohmert on Holder resignation...

Here is what Lindsey Graham had to say.

Here is what Louie Gohmert had to say.

When it comes to confirming Holder's replacement, do you feel confident Graham will not vote for a Holder clone?

Fail: Senior aide to Attorney General Eric Holder calls Issa's office by mistake and asks them to leak IRS scandal documents

Team Obama specializes in dirty dealings, but this time they got busted.

Via Breitbart:

A senior communications aide to Attorney General Eric Holder seemingly called House oversight committee chairman Darrell Issa’s staff by accident and asked for their help spinning new revelations about the IRS scandal, Issa said in a September 8 letter to Holder.
The aide, Brian Fallon, is a former senior aide to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and a well-known personality on Capitol Hill. The letter describes Fallon as “audibly shaken” when he realizes his request to leak documents to help get ahead of news stories about them was mistakenly made to the very office he was seeking to undermine. Issa believes the call was intended to be made to Democratic Rep. Elijah Cumming’s staff, the ranking member on the oversight panel, the letter said.

Interestingly, liberals want us to trust Eric Holder's DOJ to do a fair investigation of the IRS scandal. Obviously, they are biased. This phone call should justify a special prosecutor by itself.

Eric Holder claims police in New Jersey stopped harassed him for DWB...

Hmm... Holder is a well known liar.
FERUGUSON, Mo. — Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday told a group of black college students here that he had been a victim of racial profiling.
Holder, who is in Ferguson as part of the Justice Department’s investigation of the police shooting of an unarmed black teenager, relayed a story about being stopped on the New Jersey Turnpike despite not breaking any laws.
“He told the story about how he was humiliated. They got him out of his car and searched his car,” said Bradley J. Reyford, a 22-year-old student who met with Holder.
Holder told the story to a group of students at Florissant Valley Community College, a predominantly black school.
He met with a small group of students to hear their concerns about policing tactics in Ferguson, where riots and looting have broken out over the past week along with protests and demonstrations related to the killing of 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Unhelpful: Obama is sending AG Eric Holder to Ferguson...

Don't they have enough problems already?
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is sending Attorney General Eric Holder to Ferguson, Missouri, to meet with federal law enforcement authorities investigating the police shooting of an unarmed teenager.
Obama says Holder will travel to the St. Louis suburb on Wednesday.
Holder recently authorized a federal autopsy on the body of Michael Brown, the unarmed 18-year-old who was fatally shot on Aug. 9. Brown was black; the officer who shot him was white.

Eric Holder is jetting his family around for recreational events on the taxpayers dime...

Worst Attorney General ever...

Via Daily Caller:
On a pleasant Saturday this summer, Eric Holder, his daughters, their boyfriends and two security officers boarded a government-owned Gulfstream and jetted off to New York for the Belmont Stakes Thoroughbred horse race.
Even for personal trips like this, the attorney general doesn’t fly commercial. For security reasons, Holder — like other top government officials — flies a government plane, though is required to reimburse taxpayers for airfare.
According to records obtained by The Daily Caller through a Freedom of Information Act request, Holder is getting pretty good deal here — especially when he flies a government-owned Gulfstream V jet.
That one day trip to Elmont, N.Y. on June 7, according to records provided to TheDC by the Department of Justice, ended up costing the government $14,440.
But Holder only had to reimburse the government $955 for flying him and four passengers to the final leg of the Triple Crown horse races that day.
That’s because he only has to pay the equivalent cost of a coach commercial airline ticket for each non-law enforcement passenger — not the total cost to charter the plane.

Federal Judge orders Eric Holder to release some withheld Fast and Furious documents...

These are some of the documents that Holder took a contempt charge to keep hidden.

Via Townhall:
Thanks to a Freedom of Information Act Lawsuit pursued against the Department of Justice by government watchdog Judicial Watch, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has ruled documents being withheld from Congress under President Obama’s claim of executive privilege must be turned over. Obama made the claim on the same day Attorney General Eric Holder was voted in criminal and civil contempt of Congress in June 2012.
“This order forces the Obama DOJ, for the first time, to provide a detailed listing of all documents that it has withheld from Congress and the American people for years about the deadly Fast and Furious gun running scandal,” Judicial Watch released in a statement.
The FOIA lawsuit has been ongoing for 16-months and is now proceeding after a lengthy delay. The Justice Department originally asked the court for an indefinite hold on a FOIA request from Judicial Watch, citing executive privilege and an ongoing investigation. That indefinite hold request was shot down more than a year ago.

Stupid: Eric Holder Finally finds something he wants to investigate...

It's an Obama outhouse library float in Nebraska!

Via The Washington Times:
The U.S. Department of Justice has sent a member of its Community Relations Service team to investigate a Nebraska parade float that criticized President Obama.A Fourth of July parade float featured at the annual Independence Day parade in Norfolk sparked criticism when it depicted a zombie-like figure resembling Mr. Obama standing outside an outhouse, which was labeled the “Obama Presidential Library.”The Nebraska Democratic Party called the float one of the “worst shows of racism and disrespect for the office of the presidency that Nebraska has ever seen.”

Eric Holder cancels speech to avoid impeachment protesters...

Coward...
Via WFB:
Attorney General Eric Holder canceled a speech to a graduating class of police cadets in Oklahoma City on Thursday, after crowds of Oklahomans flocked to the ceremony to protest his appearance.
Protest organizers said Holder’s planned speech to the law enforcement graduates was “inappropriate,” and argued that the attorney general has failed to uphold the law himself.
“A lot of people just felt that it was very inappropriate for this man, with his track record, to speak to law enforcement officers that demand and expect to be backed up by the government working on behalf of the citizens, not against the citizens,” State Rep. Mike Turner (R.), who is running for U.S. congress, told the Washington Free Beacon.

Eric Holder claimed “state secrets privilege” to keep from revealing FBI agent checked the wrong box...

WTF?

Via Wired:
After seven years of litigation, two trips to a federal appeals court and $3.8 million worth of lawyer time, the public has finally learned why a wheelchair-bound Stanford University scholar was cuffed, detained and denied a flight from San Francisco to Hawaii: FBI human error.
FBI agent Kevin Kelley was investigating Muslims in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2004 when he checked the wrong box on a terrorism form, erroneously placing Rahinah Ibrahim on the no-fly list.
What happened next was the real shame. Instead of admitting to the error, high-ranking President Barack Obama administration officials spent years covering it up. Attorney General Eric Holder, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and a litany of other government officials claimed repeatedly that disclosing the reason Ibrahim was detained, or even acknowledging that she’d been placed on a watch list, would cause serious damage to the U.S. national security. Again and again they asserted the so-called “state secrets privilege” to block the 48-year-old woman’s lawsuit, which sought only to clear her name.
Holder went so far as to tell the judge presiding over the case that this assertion of the state secrets privilege was fully in keeping with Obama’s much-ballyhooed 2009 executive branch reforms of the privilege, which stated the administration would invoke state secrets sparingly.

Eric Holder: No. Obama donor lawyer in charge of IRS investigation won't testify before Congress...

What's Holder afraid of?

Via Washington Times
The Justice Department said Thursday it is refusing to let a key lawyer testify to the House oversight committee on the criminal investigation into the IRS, saying that to let her brief Congress could potentially skew its probe.
But oversight committee Republicans said blocking lawyer Barbara Bosserman from testifying only makes the Justice’s investigation look more partisan.
After an internal audit last year revealed the IRS was unfairly targeting tea party groups for intrusive scrutiny and blocking their applications for tax-exempt status, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. called for a criminal probe into the tax agency.
Eight months later, the probe has shown few public signs of progress, and many of the tea party victims say they still haven’t heard from the FBI or Justice Department lawyers.
House Republicans said they were concerned about the direction of the probe, and Rep. Jim Jordan, Ohio Republican and a subcommittee chairman on the House oversight committee, asked Ms. Bosserman to testify at a hearing next week.
The GOP has identified her as the lead lawyer on the investigation, and they have questioned her role, given her history as a significant political donor to President Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns.

Amusing: Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee personally vouches for Eric Holder's “integrity”

Well, that settles it then...

Via Red Alert Politics:
In the midst of the scandals involving Department of Justice, Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee gave a spirited half-hour defense of Attorney General Eric Holder on the House floor Thursday afternoon, saying she was “baffled” by the attacks on the AG that she could personally vouch for his “integrity” and the good works he’s done for the American people.
“When it is suggested that the DOJ would violate that scared trust of blocking info to the American public, then obviously there is enormous amount of concern, Jackson Lee said.
However, she ruled out Holder’s involvement in any of the scandals, citing his 37 years of public service. “Those were many years since 1976, and if I would take a guess, if he were going to falter in the practice of law, or in the upholding of justice, he would have faltered a long time ago,” she said.
The Democratic Representative went on to to discuss the acts of AG “away from the aura of cameras and hysteria” stating that in regards to Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the IRS Scandal, the AP Scandal and investigation into Fox News’ James Rosen that, “It seems like all of this is piling on all on someone who was not involved.”
“It serves no purpose to go on an unsubstantiated witch hunt on what is one of the finest public servants that this country has seen,” Lee said. “And that is the Attorney General of the United Stated, Eric H. Holder Junior.”
