Rudy Giuliani doubles down on comments about Obama not loving America...

Cajones...

Via Fox News:
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani was on “The Kelly File” tonight, where he doubled down on his comment that President Barack Obama does not love America.
Megyn Kelly asked Giuliani: Do you want to apologize for your comment?
“Not at all, I want to repeat it,” he said, charging Obama with apologizing for America and criticizing the country.
Kelly pressed Giuliani, noting that Obama could view foreign policy through a Democratic lens. “But to condemn his patriotism, to question his love of America?” she asked.
“I don’t hear from him what I heard from Harry Truman, what I heard from Bill Clinton, what I heard from Jimmy Carter, which is these wonderful words about what a great country we are, what an exceptional country we are,” Giuliani said.
He stressed, “I’m right about this. I have no doubt about it. I do not withdraw my words.”

Rudy Giuliani: Obama will turn the nation more socialist than France if re-elected

Rudy Giuliani tells it like it is...
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani had harsh words for President Barack Obama during a campaign stop in Las Vegas, saying he has accomplished nothing and will turn the nation more socialist than France if re-elected.
“What do we want to elect, an unsuccessful person? We tried that, OK, we tried a person of no accomplishment,” Giuliani said. “Now let’s try something different, let’s try a man who has actually been successful in life.” [...]
During his stop in the state with the nation’s highest unemployment rate, Giuliani accused Obama of being anti-business and creating “thousands of pages of regulations” aimed at turning the country into a socialist government.
“Anybody in Las Vegas who is going to vote for him is out of their mind, now that’s probably true in the rest of the country, too,” Giuliani said. “He’s going to make France look like a low-tax country.”

Shameful: Paul Krugman accuses Bush, Giuliani of being "fake heroes" who cashed in on 9-11

Former President Bush and former NY Mayor Giuliani rallied us in the aftermath of 9/11. Krugman's vile attack on the 10 year anniversary may be the most shameful thing an alleged journalist has ever done. (accent is mine)
(New York Slimes)- What happened after 9/11 — and I think even people on the right know this, whether they admit it or not — was deeply shameful. Te atrocity should have been a unifying event, but instead it became a wedge issue. Fake heroes like Bernie Kerik, Rudy Giuliani, and, yes, George W. Bush raced to cash in on the horror. And then the attack was used to justify an unrelated war the neocons wanted to fight, for all the wrong reasons.

Rudy Giuliani demands Mitt Romney apologize for RomneyCare

If Mitt Romney is to have nay hope of being victorious in the GOP 2012 presidential primary, he should heed Rudy Giuliani's advice. Romney should admit Romneycare was a huge mistake and throw himself on the mercy of GOP primary voters.
(NY Daily News) – Rudy Giuliani demanded that Mitt Romney apologize for his Massachusetts health care plan during a visit to New Hampshire on Friday.

The former mayor of New York said that Romney made a “terrible mistake” in requiring residents to purchase health care when he signed the plan into law five years ago, the New Hampshire Union Leader reports.

“[Romney] can’t talk his way out of this,” Giuliani said. “If you create a state or a federal government that can give orders like that, you’re taking away people’s freedom, and I think Gov. Romney should be more sensitive to that.”

Run Rudy Run?

The Full Rudy: The Man, the Myth, the Mania

A CNN/Opinion Research puts Rudy Giuliani in a tree way tie for the GOP 2012 presidential nomination.
(The Hill) – Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani (R) could have a significant impact on the Republican primary field if he chooses to run, a poll released Friday showed.

CNN/Opinion Research survey showed Giuliani, who ran a failed presidential campaign in 2008, statistically tied with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) in a hypothetical match-up. Giuliani received 16 percent support from Republicans, Romney got 15 percent and Palin received 13 percent.

The poll can be seen as a testament to the unsettled nature of the Republican field of candidates looking to unseat President Obama in 2012.
