CNN Has Figured Out Who To Blame For The Gaza Raid: George Bush (video)

Now, the Gaza flotilla raid has been added to the crimes the left is blaming on former President Bush. Since only 19% of Americans think Israel is to blame, the left needed their fallback scapegoat.

NewsBusters reported:
Obviously, blaming former President George W. Bush is en vogue - for everything from the BP oil spill to the current economic malaise. But some things that are going wrong in the world - it just seems to be a bit of a stretch to pin on a former administration.

But that didn't stop CNN's Fareed Zakaria, also the editor of Newsweek International. On his June 6 show "Fareed Zakaria GPS," Zakaria pointed out the pivotal role Turkey played in last week's deadly Gaza flotilla raid...

"The United States for its part did not handle Turkish relations well, especially under the previous administration," Zakaria said. "The Bush team treated Turkey with the usual mixture of arrogance and high-handedness and then was outraged when the Turkish parliament refused to go along with its war plans in Iraq. Then they repeatedly snubbed Turkey over the next few years." More here.

Reuters Caught Cropping Weapons From Hands of Flotilla Peace Activists

Reuters is at it again. In the past, they were caught using Photo Shop on photos during the second Lebanese war to make them look worse than they were. Now they have resorted to cropping weapons out of photos to make it appear the activists on the Gaza blockade breaker flotilla were unarmed.

Here is the original photo. No knife!

Notice the knife in the activist's hand in the lower right of the picture.

Here is the cropped version.

Obama To Netanyahu: "Don't Come"

President Onama told Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to not come to the White House after flotilla interception. President Obama is afraid to publicly support Israel.

Arutz Sheva reported:

Behind the scenes, it was Obama officials who caused the turnabout. Globes cites sources in both Jerusalem and Washington who say that Obama officials gave a clear message to Netanyahu’s people: “Don’t come.”

Gaza Flotilla Peace Activists Threw Stun Grenades

Israel has a legal right to enforce a blockade of Gaza which is controlled by their deadly enemy Hamas. Israel could have sunk the ships and probably should have, but, instead, they tried to board the ships and avoid the loss of life. They were attacked by activists armed with knives, clubs and slingshots. Oh, and the 'peace activists' threw stun grenades. The IDF was forced to defend itself and nine activists were killed. The rest are being repatriated to their home countries. Turkey has its panties in a bunch because four of the dead are Turkish citizens. About half the people on the flotilla were Turkish citizens. The flotilla launched from a Turkish port with the support of the Turkish government. Reportedly, Turkey threatened Israel if they intercepted the effort to run the legal blockade. This incident was a deliberate provocation by Turkey. Instead of condemning Israel, the world and the US should condemn the Turkish government for interfering with Israel's right to self defense.

Here is the stun grenade video.

Gaza Flotilla Had "Cache of Weapons" on Board

All photos from IDF.

You can see some of the weapons found on board the Gaza "peace activists" flotilla above.

IDF reported:
After IDF soldiers succeeded in stopping the attack against them by passengers on board the Mavi Marmara ship, the ship was brought to the Ashdod port and arrived in the late hours of Monday evening (May 31). Flotilla participants were brought off the ship and taken for questioning.

Once the activists left the ship, security forces began a thorough search and found a supply of weapons, including knives, Molotov cocktails, detonators, wood and metal clubs, slingshots and rocks, large hammers and sharp metal objects. In addition, gas masks were found, pointing to the prior intention of the ship’s passengers to use violence against IDF soldiers who would then be forced to use riot dispersal methods.

Senile Helen Thomas Calls Israeli Flotilla Interception "Deliberate Massacre"

There wasn't any subtle spin during Helen Thomas' rant at Robert Gibbs.
“Our initial reaction to a massacre, deliberate massacre, an international crime, was pitiful. What do you mean regret, when something should be so strongly condemned? And if any other nation in the world had done it we would have been up in arms. What is this ironclad relationship with a country that deliberately kills people and boycotts every aid and abet.”

IDF Releases Video Proof Gaza Protesters Attacked Them

You won't see this video on ABC, CBS, MSNBC or CNN.

IDF Spokesperson's Unit reported:
May 31, 2010 — Early this morning, IDF Naval Forces boarded six ships attempting to break the maritime closure of the Gaza Strip. This happened after numerous warnings from Israel and the Israeli Navy that were issued prior to the action. The Israel Navy requested the ships to redirect toward Ashdod where they would be able to unload their aid supplies which would then be transferred over land after undergoing security inspections.

During the boarding of the ships, the demonstrators onboard attacked the IDF Naval personnel with live fire and light weaponry including knives and clubs. Additionally one of the weapons used was grabbed from an IDF soldier. The demonstrators had clearly prepared their weapons in advance for this specific purpose.

As a result of this life-threatening and violent activity, naval forces employed riot dispersal means, as well as live fire.

According to initial reports, these events resulted in the deaths of nine demonstrators and seven naval personnel were injured, some from gunfire and some from various other weapons. Two of the soldiers are moderately wounded and the remainder sustained light injuries. All of the injured, Israelis and foreigners have been evacuated by helicopter to hospitals in Israel.
Reports from IDF forces on the scene are that it seems as if part of the participants onboard the ships were planning to lynch the forces.

The interception of the flotilla followed numerous warnings given to the organizers of the flotilla before leaving their ports as well as while sailing towards the Gaza Strip. In these warnings, it was made clear to the organizers that they could dock in the Ashdod sea port and unload the equipment they are carrying in order to deliver it to the Gaza Strip in an orderly manner, following the appropriate security checks. Upon expressing their unwillingness to cooperate and arrive at the port, it was decided to board the ships and lead them to Ashdod.

IDF naval personnel encountered severe violence, including use of weaponry prepared in advance in order to attack and to harm them. The forces operated in adherence with operational commands and took all necessary actions in order to avoid violence, but to no avail.

Report: Israel Storms Moonbat Pro-Palestinian Flotilla (10 Dead)

Israel warned they would not let the six-ship flotilla break their blockade of the Gaza strip. Pro-Palestinians and moonbats ignored the warning and some have paid with their lives. Reportedly, the activists planned to cause a violent confrontation.

AP reported via AOL News:
Israel said the forces encountered unexpected resistance as they boarded the vessels. Dozens of passengers and at least five Israeli soldiers were wounded in the confrontation in international waters...

There were conflicting accounts of what happened early Monday.
An Al-Jazeera reporter on one of the Turkish ships said the Israelis fired at the vessel before boarding it. The Israelis, who had declared they would not let the ships reach Gaza, said they only opened fire after being attacked by activists with sticks, knives and live fire from weapons seized from the Israeli commandos. "On board the ship we found weapons prepared in advance and used against our forces," declared Israel's deputy foreign minister, Danny Ayalon.
