San Bernardino gunman Syed Farook was pushed over the edge by a Jewish co-worker who claimed Islam is not a "Religion of Peace?"

Oh, the bloody irony.

The radicalized San Bernardino gunman clashed with a Jewish co-worker over religion just two weeks before he and his Pakistani wife stormed an office holiday party where they massacred 14 people.

Syed Farook, 28, got into a heated argument with colleague Nicholas Thalasinos, a Messianic Jew who was identified today as one of the victims of Wednesday’s rampage.[snip]

Kuuleme Stephens said she had happened to call Thalasinos while he was at work and having a discussion with Farook.

Thalasinos identified Farook by name and told her the 28-year-old believed Islam was a peaceful religion. She added that Farook said that Americans do not understand Islam.

Stephens said both men worked as county restaurant inspectors and regularly discussed politics and religion.

Thalasinos was passionate about pro-Israel causes and was known to rant about Islam on Facebook.

A law enforcement official has identified the suspect arrested in Wednesday's shooting as Floyd Corkins II of Herndon, Va. Investigators were interviewing his neighbors.

Another official says the shooter made a negative reference about the work of the Family Research Council before opening fire. The officials spoke anonymously because they were not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation.

David Mariner is executive director of The DC Center for the LGBT Community. He says Corkins had been volunteering at the center for about the past 6 months. Mariner describes Corkins as "kind, gentle and unassuming."

Gunman attacks conservative Christian lobbying office

The lunatic liberal had promotional materials for Chik-fil-A. Family Research Council supports traditional marriage. A security guard at the Family Research Council was wounded before the gunman was disarmed.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A gunman wounded a guard on Wednesday at the Family Research Council, a conservative Christian lobbying group, and he is in FBI custody, authorities said.

The male security guard was shot in the arm after confronting the suspected gunman at about 10:45 a.m. in the lobby of the group's headquarters in downtown Washington, a police spokesman said.

Guards wrestled the suspected gunman to the ground and he was taken into Federal Bureau of Investigation custody. The wounded guard was taken to a hospital, where he is in stable condition.

The Family Research Council strongly opposes same-sex marriage and abortion, and police thought the shooting "might fall under being considered a hate crime. That's why they called us in," said FBI spokeswoman Rebecca Callahan.[...]

Television station NBC4 reported that the suspect was armed with a 9mm handgun. Authorities found two loaded magazines with 15 rounds each in the suspect's backpack, as well as promotional materials for Chik-fil-A, a fast food chain.

Sikh temple gunman was reportedly a white supremacist

OAK CREEK, Wis. (AP) - Before he strode into a Sikh temple with a 9mm handgun and multiple magazines of ammunition, Wade Michael Page played in white supremacist heavy metal bands with names such as Definite Hate and End Apathy.

The bald, heavily tattooed bassist was a 40-year-old Army veteran who trained in psychological warfare before he was demoted and discharged more than a decade ago.

A day after he killed six worshippers at the suburban Milwaukee temple, fragments of Page's life emerged in public records and interviews. But his motive was still largely a mystery. He left no hate-filled manifesto, no angry blog or ranting Facebook entries to explain the attack.

Page, who was shot to death by police, joined the Army in 1992 and was discharged in 1998. He was described Monday by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a "frustrated neo-Nazi" who had long been active in the obscure underworld of white supremacist music.

Ft. Hood Gunman Shouted, “Allahu akbar!” Clueless NYT Thinks Motive Remains an Enigma...

The New York Times has become a complete liberal rag. In spite of the fact Major Nidal Malik Hasan shouted “Allahu akbar!” before gunning down soldiers at Ft. Hood, they can't fathom his motive. If they would take off their liberal blinders, they could easily discern Hasan is an Islamic Jihadist.

The NYT reported:

No emotion or hint of the defendant’s thoughts flickered across his pale features, as more than two dozen other soldiers and civilians spoke under oath about their struggle to survive in the terrifying minutes after he yelled “Allahu akbar!” — “God is great” in Arabic — and started shooting...

Yet the gunman and his motive remain an enigma...

Here James Lee is at the “Shoe Bush” rally the day before the inauguration last year. He is holding a sign saying, "The Hell with the Troops" and "Disarm them and make them clean up depleted uranium." Lee seems to lay the blame for all wars on the troops involved.
