Less than half of voters in California now approve of Barack Obama...

Change...

Via The Hill:
President Obama’s approval rating has fallen to a record low in California, with fewer than half of the voters in the Democratic stronghold approving of the way he has handled his job, for the first time since 2011.
Just 45 percent of California voters say they approve of the way the president is handling his job — down 5 percentage points from June, according to a Field Poll released Tuesday. Some 43 percent of those surveyed say they disapprove of the president’s job performance. Those numbers are actually better than the president’s national rating, with a Gallup poll taken late last month showing 42 percent approval for the president and 51 percent disapproval.
But the California poll might be an ominous sign. The president has been able to keep his approval ratings in the low 40s, largely thanks to a loyal Democratic base, which continues to support him at a steady clip.

FOX News poll finds new low in Obama Job Approval

Via Fox News:
President Obama’s job approval rating hits a record low this week, as a majority of Americans say his administration has mostly failed at growing the economy, creating jobs, improving health care and the country’s image.
That’s according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.
For the first time in a Fox News poll, fewer than four voters in ten — 38 percent — approve of President Obama’s job performance. Fifty-four percent disapprove. Before now Obama’s worst job rating was 40-55 percent in November 2013. Last month 42 percent approved and 53 percent disapproved (February 2014).
Approval of Obama among Democrats stands at 71 percent, near its 69 percent record low (September 2013). For independents, 28 percent approve, which is also near the 25 percent all-time low among this group (July 2013). And approval of Obama among Republicans hits a new low of five percent.

Shock Poll: President Obama's Approval is Down to 36%

Approval train wreck...
This week’s Economist/YouGov Poll is full of bad news for President Barack Obama. The frontrunners for the GOP nomination in the 2012 contest are pulling very close to him in head-to-head matchups, and his approval rating has been at or near the lowest levels of his Presidency for the last few weeks. And the worrisome economy keeps it there: this week just 36% approve of the way he is handing his job overall, the lowest rating ever in the two and a half years of his Presidency.

More than half the public — 56% — disapproves of the President’s performance.

There are several other indications in the poll of how opinion about the President has changed over time. Well over half the country has concerns about what the President says. 57% believes most of what he says is what he wants people to hear, and not what he really believes....Keep on reading...
