I have been watching the Florida covid numbers closely . I am traveling to Panama City Beach soon for vacation. Panama City is in Bay county. They haven't had a huge coronovirus problem, but yesterday the numbers jumped dramatically. Here is why from the Bay county covid site.
These numbers are included in the 10,109 record reported yesterday.
The total numbers match at Worldometer, but the daily total is off by one. I don't know why.
This is evidence Florida is including antibody tests in the total and adding in antibody tests from earlier this month.

Today The USS Rubio Will Capsize and Sink in a Florida Trumpcane...
It's over for Marco Rubio. He will be lucky to get second in his home state. His failure tracks back to the Gang of Eight and his inability to address that huge mistake.
It is widely anticipated that Marco Rubio is going to get shellacked on his home turf in Tuesday's Florida presidential primary. A very unsympathetic Friday profile in the Tampa Bay Times suggests that part of the reason this is so is that Rubio's entire career has consisted of sweet-talking influential individuals into giving him big opportunities only to drop those individuals like hot rocks when another better thing comes along. The idea is that now, when he needs home-state support more than ever, Rubio has no one on the ground to rely on; a number of past allies in fact went on the record to tell the Times exactly how little they like lil' Marco and how bad he is at actually doing the jobs he's chosen for.

Florida House advances bill to keep transgenders out of the wrong bathroom...
Bathroom usage should be determined by plumbing, not how someone claims they feel that day.
Via The Tampa Tribune
Via The Tampa Tribune
After a two hour hearing, a House panel Tuesday cleared legislation cast as “common sense” by proponents, but vocally opposed by the transgender community, which says it’s discriminatory.
The bill (HB 583) makes it a second-degree misdemeanor for someone to use a single-sex restroom if it does not match the gender on that person’s driver’s license or passport.
It has become the most contentious measure during the early parts of legislative session, with hours of testimony during its first two committee stops.
It is sponsored by state Rep. Frank Artiles, a Miami Republican, who says his top goal is public safety. He is specifically taking aim at a Miami-Dade County law that he says is overbroad, and will allow heterosexual men access to women’s bathrooms.

Security guards asked Black to leave, but said he refused and pulled out a gun.
The guards fired theirs first, shooting and killing Black at the scene.

Florida TV Station Has Little Trouble Finding Voter Fraud
Via Judicial Watch:
While the Obama Justice Department mounts a legal challenge against Florida for purging ineligible voters from its rolls, a television news station broadcasts an unbelievable segment that proves non U.S. citizens living in the Sunshine State vote regularly in elections.
The investigative piece was aired this week by an NBC affiliate in southwest Florida that actually tracked down and interviewed non U.S. citizens who are registered to vote and have cast ballots in numerous elections. The segment focused on Lee County, which has a population of about 620,000 and Collier County with a population of around 322,000. The reporter spent about two months digging around the voter rolls in the two counties and the discoveries are dumbfounding.
In that short time, more than 100 people registered to vote in those two areas were proven to be ineligible by the reporter. A Cape Coral woman, eligible to vote in elections, was tracked down through jury excusal forms that verify she’s not a U.S. citizen. A Naples woman, who is not a U.S. citizen either, voted six times in 11 years without being detected by authorities. A Jamaican man is also registered to vote though he’s not eligible. The reporter obtained his 2007 voter registration form, which shows the Jamaican man claims to be a U.S. citizen. Problem is, no one bothers checking to see if applicants are being truthful.

300,000 in Florida won't be keeping their plan if they like their plan...
Well, at least the guys will now get pregnancy coverage and free mammograms with their premium increases.
Via Kaiser Health News:
Via Kaiser Health News:
Health plans are sending hundreds of thousands of cancellation letters to people who buy their own coverage, frustrating some consumers who want to keep what they have and forcing others to buy more costly policies.
The main reason insurers offer is that the policies fall short of what the Affordable Care Act requires starting Jan. 1.
Most are ending policies sold after the law passed in March 2010. At least a few are cancelling plans sold to people with pre-existing medical conditions.
By all accounts, the new policies will offer consumers better coverage, in some cases, for comparable cost — especially after the inclusion of federal subsidies for those who qualify.
The law requires policies sold in the individual market to cover 10 “essential” benefits, such as prescription drugs, mental health treatment and maternity care.

Heroes: All 67 Florida Sheriffs sign pledge to not enforce laws violating the Second Amendment
Retirement in Florida just started looking a little better. The Florida's Sheriffs are 1st class...
Constitutional Sheriffs sent an email stating, “I have added the names of the following 61 Florida County Sheriffs [who] joined the previous six Florida County Sheriffs to announce that they will not enforce laws that violate the Constitution or infringe on the rights of the people to own firearms.”
This means all of Florida’s county sheriffs have now signed the pledge, the first state to achieve 100% compliance with the 2nd Amendment. The list is bi-partisan.

The Hill uses fake Republicans to claim Top Republicans admit voter suppression motive...
This must be one of those fake , but accurate, headlines...
Report: Top Florida Republicans say election law was intentionally designed to suppress the vote
Two former top Florida Republicans say a new law that shortened the early voting period in the state was designed by the GOP to suppress the Democratic vote, not to curb voter fraud, according to a report Monday from the Palm Beach Post.
The Palm Beach Post quoted Former Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer and former Gov. Charlie Crist, neither of whom is still a party member, and a handful of other party operatives, who said claims the law was designed to curb voter fraud in the state were merely a marketing ploy to provide cover for the party’s voter suppression efforts.
Calling Charlie Crist a "Top Republican" is like calling John Kerry a Vietnam war supporter...

Massive voter fraud in Florida
How can there be 141% voter turnout without fraud?
Update: Someone on Twitter claimed each voter has two ballots dur to the length . I can not confirm this ATM, but it could be an explanation.
On Tuesday only one precinct had less than 113% turnout. “The Unofficial vote count is 175,554 registered voters 247,713 vote cards cast (141.10% ). The National SEAL Museum, a St. Lucie county polling place, had 158.85% voter turn out, the highest in the county.”
I am beginning to think Rep. Allen West got hosed...
The Supervisor of Elections, Gertrude Walker, had this to say concerning the 141% voter turnout: “They may have had something like that in Palm Beach County, but we’ve never seen that here.”

Bear-hugging Obama loving pizzaman fears boycott...
Scott Van Duzer claims to be a Republican who voted for Obama in 2008 and plans to vote for him again this year. If you vote Obama this year, you aren't a Republican. Change your party designation. If I lived in Florida, I would look for a pizza shop that wasn't run by a fake republican. I hate fakes.
Via Politico:
The owner of a Florida pizza shop says people are boycotting his business because he bear-hugged President Barack Obama on Sunday.
“People are saying a lot of bad things and boycotting my restaurant,” Scott Van Duzer, 46, told POLITICO. “There’s no middle line anymore, and that’s exactly what’s wrong with our country right now.”
The owner of Big Apple Pizza & Pasta Restaurant in Fort Pierce, Fla., said that both Democrats and Republicans are welcome in his store. But he also said he thinks Mitt Romney’s running mate Rep. Paul Ryan — whose sculpted abs are thanks to intense P90X training sessions — would lose to the president in a workout battle.

Collier County Jail records show 63-year-old Wallace Weatherholt was charged Friday with unlawful feeding of an alligator and later posted $1,000 bond. His next court date is Aug. 22.

Good News: Florida Federal Judge Allows Purge of Illegals From Voter Rolls to Continue...
Best news of the day...
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — A federal judge has refused to stop Florida from removing potentially non-U.S. citizens from its rolls.
The U.S. Department of Justice sued the state to halt the purge, arguing it was going on too close to a federal election.
U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle said Wednesday that there was nothing in federal voting laws that prevent the state from identifying non-U.S. citizens even if it comes less than 90 days before the Aug. 14 election.
Hinkle ruled that federal laws are designed to block states from removing eligible voters close to an election. He said they are not designed to stop states from blocking voters who should have never been allowed to cast ballots in the first place.
Gov. Rick Scott praised Hinkle’s decision, saying “irreparable harm will result if non-citizens are allowed to vote.”

Strange: Obama's lawyer asks Florida judge to throw out eligibility challenge because he isn't the Democrat's nominee
Only a lawyer would be stupid enough to argue Barack Obama isn't the Democrats presidential nominee in 2012. Why doesn't he just argue Obama is a natural born citizen and therefore eligible?
WASHINGTON, Monday, June 18, 2012 — A lawyer for President Barack Obama argued today in Florida that a lawsuit claiming his client "is not eligible to appear on the November ballot because he is not a 'natural born citizen,'” should be dismissed on the grounds that the Democratic Party has not yet nominated a candidate.
In Tallahasse, Florida, Attorney Mark Herron, representing President Obama, told Leon County, Florida Circuit Judge Terry Lewis that the January 31, 2012 Florida Presidential Preference Primary “did not result in nomination or election” and that “federal law precludes this court from determining whether a candidate for the office of President of the United States is qualified under Article Two Section Five of the United States Constitution.”
“There has been no nomination to office, there has been no election to office,” Herron told Judge Lewis.

Holder's DOJ launches lawsuit against Florida for purging illegals from voter rolls
It's almost like Eric Holder is in favor of illegal immigration.
WASHINGTON — The Department of Justice is suing the state of Florida to halt its efforts to purge voter rolls of noncitizens who are illegally registered to vote.
The complaint alleges that the state has violated Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 by relying on inaccurate and unreliable voter verification procedures and by conducting the purge within 90 days of a federal election. Florida has a primary scheduled for Aug. 14.
Assistant Atty. Gen. Thomas E. Perez said in a statement that the state appears to have “undertaken a new program for voter removal within this 90-day period that has critical imperfections, which lead to errors that harm and confuse eligible voters.”
The suit comes just a day after Florida sued the Department of Homeland Security for failing to allow it to check voter names against a database that contains citizenship information.

Florida tells Eric Holder to go pound sand
Florida will ignore Holder's warning and continue to remove illegal aliens from voter rolls.
(International Business Times) — Florida state officials will continue their quest to purge purportedly ineligible people from voter-registration rolls, a representative of Secretary of State Ken Detzner said Saturday, in defiance of objections from the U.S. Justice Department and county officials who say the policy violates two federal voting laws.
On Thursday, T. Christian Herren Jr., the head of the Justice Department’s voting section, said the effort to remove voters appears to violate the 1965 Voting Rights Act, which outlaws discriminatory voting practices that disenfranchise minorities. On a list of almost 2,700 voters the state suspects are noncitizens, blacks and Latinos were disproportionately represented, according to an analysis by the Miami Herald, which concluded Democratic and independent voters are the most likely to be targeted.
Despite the warning, Detzner’s representative said on Saturday the state intends to go forward with its campaign. “We have a year-round obligation to ensure the integrity of Florida’s elections. We will be responding to (the Justice Department’s) concerns next week,” Chris Cate wrote in an email to Reuters.
Detzner has previously said his agency has identified 182,000 registered voters who are not citizens by comparing driver’s-license and voter-registration databases. Beginning in April, the state requested that county election officials contact almost 2,700 suspected noncitizens by mail. The letters said that those who failed to provide proof of citizenship within 30 days would be removed from the voter rolls.

Report: Eyewitness claims Zimmerman Was On Ground Being Attacked By Trayvon Martin Before He Shot Him
Don't look for the mainstream media to give this much play. It doesn't fit in with the race-baiting that is now being led by a host of likely characters. Also, don't look for them to point out Zimmerman is Hispanic and has black relatives. I don't have a position on whether the shooting was justified. We should let the authorities investigate and the chips will fall where they may.
SANFORD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) – Investigators with the Sanford Police Department are still trying to figure out exactly what happened during an altercation which resulted in a fatal shooting in the Twin Lakes area. The shooting happened just after 7 p.m. Sunday evening on Twin Trees Lane. A man who witnessed part of the altercation contacted authorities.
“The guy on the bottom, who had a red sweater on [Zimmerman], was yelling to me, ‘Help! Help!’ and I told him to stop, and I was calling 911,” said the witness, who asked to be identified only by his first name, John.
John said he locked his patio door, ran upstairs and heard at least one gun shot.
“And then, when I got upstairs and looked down, the guy who was on the top beating up the other guy, was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point.”

TV Station Finds Massive Voter Fraud By Illegals
Very few people are called for jury duty in a year. If NBC2 found a hundred illegal voters by cross-referencing jury excusal for non-citizenship and voter logs, there are actually hundreds of illegals voters in those two counties. Republicans have long suspected this kind of voter fraud bu illegals, but Democrats have downplayed the possibility. Of course, Democrats think most of these fraudulent voters are pulling the lever for the party of the donkey.
Via Breitbart:
Via Breitbart:
A local Florida station invented an unprecedented way to check for voter fraud: jury excusal forms. NBC2 compiled a list of jury excusals based on not being a citizen of the United States and compared it to a list of registered voters in two counties. They discovered almost 100 illegally registered voters, many of whom had voted multiple times. "I vote every year," one woman told NBC2, despite the fact that she is not a US citizen. The woman had told the court that she couldn't serve on a jury because she wasn't a US citizen, but she doesn't seem to have a problem voting like one.
