You can't make stuff this stupid up. There is video from the debate.
CONWAY: “Gosh let me count the ways
that we’ve made the state a better place for women. Let me say first of
all that issue is one for the general assembly. Okay that really didn’t
have anything to do with the office of the Attorney General. Now the
Kentucky State Police certainly looked into it. They did an
investigation with a former LRC director. There was a settlement. But I
can tell you this. When I became Attorney General I think half of my
directors were women. My first chief-deputy was a woman. I’m married to a
strong professional woman in Elizabeth Davenport Conway. I’ve got two
little girls, I’ve even got a female dog, they’ve got me surrounded.”

New PPP Poll: Rand Paul Headed for Easy Win

A New PPP poll has Rand Paul defeating Demo KY AG Jack Conway 55% to 40%.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2010 Paul headed for easy victory Rand Paul has expanded his lead in the Kentucky Senate race even further over the last week and is headed for a blowout win. His margin over Jack Conway is 55-40. Kentucky is obviously a conservative state. Conway's ability to win was always going to depend on getting a lot of folks who supported John McCain in 2008 to vote Democratic for the Senate this time around. The most amazing finding on this final poll is that Rand Paul is actually picking up more Obama voters (15%) than Conway is McCain...
This is inspite of Conway running one of the dirtiest campaigns in the country. His anti_Paul "Aqua Buddha" ad was a really low blow. This weekend, desperate Jack Conway supporters have been robo-calling claiming Rand Paul supports legalizing meth labs.

Did Jack Conway Tip Off Brother about Drug Investigation?

KY AG and Democrat nominee for Senate Conway is denying wrongdoing, but the allegations are flying. Conway's campaign admit the AG helped his brother get a lawyer. No charges have been filed, but two detectives have been placed on leave.
The Daily Caller reported:
Jack Conway, the Democratic attorney general of Kentucky who is running for U.S. Senate, says he was not involved in a recent criminal investigation involving his brother and drug trafficking.
But it appears he — along with other law enforcement officials — tipped his brother off about the investigation.
The campaign made a statement distancing Conway from his brother’s investigation in a Saturday story in Louisville’s Courier-Journal. The story was the first to disclose this summer’s drug probe

Video: Demo Jack Conway Took Thousands of Dollars From Utility Companies and 'Sipped a Slurpee' While They Hiked Rates
KY Attorney General and Democratic Senate candidate Jack Conway claims he is "putting the people of Kentucky above the pocket boos of special interests." That is far form the truth.

Demo KY Senate Candidate Jack Conway Poised to Make Millions if Cap-and-Trade Passes

Democrat Jack Conway comes from a state where coal is king. He recently disclosed his financial holdings and ,shockingly, Conway is heavily invested in a company big in natural gas. That would be scandalous enough, but the story doesn't end there. The company Jack Conway has invested up to $5 million in, Kinder Morgan, is poised to make a killing if Cap-and-Trade passes.
Kinder Morgan is one of the largest energy transportation, storage, and distribution companies in North America. The company also is heavily involved in the transportation, sale, and use of CO₂ for enhanced oil recovery. As interest in carbon capture grows, Kinder Morgan may be poised to become a major player in this area as well.
You read that right. The company Conway is so heavily invested in is heavily involved in CO2 transportation and sale. This certainly explains Jack Conway's flip-floping position on Cap-and-Trade.
Demo KY Senate Candidate Jack Conway fought for 2 Years Over Possession of a Rock

Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway sued the Ohio town of Portsmouth and fought for almost two years over possession of a rock found at the bottom of the Ohio river. He finally won possession of the rock. The rock (pictured above) is now stored in a warehouse in Greenup County, Kentucky.
FOX News reported:
FRANKFORT, Ky. — The fight over a rock that lay for years at the bottom of the Ohio River spilled into federal court Tuesday when Kentucky sued an Ohio city, seeking the boulder's return.
Attorney General Jack Conway sued the city of Portsmouth, Ohio, and three men in federal court Tuesday over the 8-ton boulder known as Indian Head Rock. The lawsuit seeks the rock's return to Kentucky and the cost of damages.
Unfortunately, KY AG Jack Conway doesn't feel as strongly about things that seriously affect his fellow Kentuckians. Kentucky hospitals will be losing as much as $3.4 billion in Medicare payments due to Obamacare and fifty-two percent (52%) of Kentuckians favor repealing the Democrat's law. So far, Conway has refused to join lawsuits claiming Democrat's health care reform is unconstitutional or unfair to states. Conway actually called the lawsuits a waste of taxpayer dollars.
"I do not intend to use my authority as Kentucky Attorney General to sign our Commonwealth onto a health care lawsuit against the federal government, because I will not waste taxpayer dollars on a political stunt," Conway said in a statement provided to Hotline OnCall.
Oh, well. At least Kentuckians have possession of a really nice rock.

Demo Jack Conway Spent Two Years "Sippin on a Slurpee" While KY's Drug Problem Exploded (video)
Republicans aren't the only ones who can be accused of standing around and "sippin on a slurpee." KY Attorney General Jack Conway failed to get serious about Kentucky's drug abuse problem for two years. Under Conway's watch, meth labs more than doubled. Now, Jack Conway wants to take that failed record to Washington as a Senator.

Video: Despicable Jack Conway Smears Rand Paul With "Aqua Buddha" Ad
This doesn't quite rise to the level of Alan Grayson's "Taliban Dan" ad, but it is close. Jack Conway is running an ad trying to make Rand Paul look anti-Christian and anti-woman's rights. The whole premise of the ad is based on a college prank. The woman was a willing participant in what appears to be a kind of college ritual. This event happened over 25 years ago.
But that didn't stop despicable Jack Conway from taking the story and running with it in desperation.
"The whole thing has been blown out of proportion," she told me. "They didn't force me, they didn't make me. They were creating this drama: `We're messing with you.'"
The woman said that much of the subsequent coverage of her allegations missed a key nuance: As a participant in a college ritual, where lines between acquiescence and victimization are often blurry, she was largely playing along with the notion that she was being forced to follow Paul's orders.
But that didn't stop despicable Jack Conway from taking the story and running with it in desperation.

Rand Paul Skewers Jack Conway in Debate

Republican Rand Paul skewered Democrat Jack Conway in a FOX News Sunday debate held yesterday. Both men are seeking the Kentucky Senate seat vacated by retiring GOP Senator Jim Bunning. Paul called out Conway for his flip-flopping on Cap-and-Trade and and the Bush Tax Cuts. Rand Paul is up by 11-points in the latest Rasmussen poll of Likely Voters.
NRO reported:
Conway took a greater pounding from Wallace who mentioned Conway’s support for the cap-and-trade bill in the House, Waxman-Markey. Again, Conway objected, “I’m against cap-and-trade.” When Wallace cited an editorial in the Bowling Green Daily News which said Conway supported Waxman-Markey, Conway dismissed Wallace’s evidence and said, “I have been consistent.”
Paul saw the opening and seized it: “In June of last year, you issued a statement saying you supported the bill. . . . I met with you . . . [and you said] you could be part of fixing cap-and-trade.” Undeterred, Conway stonewalled: “I have been consistent in my position.”
Unfortunately for the Democrat, Wallace saw another flip-flop on the Bush tax cuts. He cited an article in the Louisville-Courier Journal in which Conway said “I would favor letting expire probably the majority of the Bush tax cuts,” before noting, “Now you’re for extending all of them.”

NRSC Launches First 2010 Ad in Support of Rand Paul of Kentucky
The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) launched it's first independent expenditure ad of the 2010 season. The ad, named "Jockey Jack", is in support of Kentucky's GOP Senatorial candidate Rand Paul. The ad asks, "Whose horse is Jack Conway riding?" Paul's opponent is KY Attorney General Jack Conway. Conway supports Obamacare, abortion, EFCA (card check), amnesty for illegal immigrants, opposes the Patriot Act and is willing to support a revised version of Cap and Trade. Is it any wonder Rand Paul is leading by as much as 15 points in some recent polls? It is a nice gesture by the NRSC to run an ad for Rand Paul after the GOP establishment tried so hard to help his primary opponent, Trey Grayson, defeat him earlier this year. Based on recent polling, Paul doesn't need their help.

Jack Conway Campaign Supporter Busted Infiltrating Rand Paul Rally With Plan to 'Act Like a Racist'
How pathetic is this? A Supporter of Democratic Senatorial Candidate Jack Conway in Kentucky infiltrated a Rand Paul rally last month with a plan to act like a racist. He was busted on video.
"Tyler" was wearing a tinfoil hat and carrying an anti-immigrant sign that read,
Of course, the liberal media zeroed right in on him.
The liberal Louisville Courier-Journal posted this video. "Tyler" is interviewed at the 00:58 mark of this video.
Slate has identified "Tyler" as as Obama supporter and activist Tyler Collins.

New Poll: Rand Paul up by 15% over Jack Conway in Kentucky Senate race.

Rand Paul was the Kentucky GOP Senate candidate supported by the Tea Party. Since winning the primary, he has committed several gaffes that have Democrats drooling at the possibility of picking up a Senate seat currently held by the GOP. Early polling had Rand Paul ahead in a close race. The latest WHAS11/Courier-Journal Bluegrass Poll dashes any hope for Democrats. Rand Paul has a healthy 55% to 40% lead.

Kentucky GOP Senate Candidate Rand Paul Reams President Obama

Kentucky GOP Senatorial Candidate Rand Paul had some harsh words for President Obama. Paul claims President Obama cares nothing about Kentucky and has EPA stifling coal mining permits.
Paul claimed Obama “cares nothing about Kentucky and cares even less about Kentucky coal.”
“We have a president who is forcing the EPA down our throats,” Paul said. “Even without changing the rules, the EPA is stifling the permit process and people (are) out of work here because of the president and his policies.
Rand Paul made the comments at a coal appreciation event in Knott County, KY Saturday. Paul is on solid ground in his criticism of President Obama's dislike of the coal industry. Senator Obama told the SF Chronicle, in January of 2008, his Cap and Trade plan would bankrupt anyone who wanted to build a coal-powered plant.
Paul's Democratic opponent, Jack Conway, claims he is also opposed to Cap and Trade. News reports indicate he has previously been a supporter of Obama's plan to destroy the coal industry.
