D.C. insurance commissioner pushes back against Obamacare "fix." Gets fired immediately...

Thou shalt not question the liberal Messiah...

Via WaPo:
A day after he questioned President Obama’s decision to unwind a major tenet of the health-care law and said the nation’s capital might not go along, D.C. insurance commissioner William P. White was fired.
White was called into a meeting Friday afternoon with one of Mayor Vincent C. Gray’s (D) top deputies and told that the mayor “wants to go in a different direction,” White told The Washington Post on Saturday.
White said the mayoral deputy never said that he was being asked to leave because of his Thursday statement on health care. But he said the timing was hard to ignore. Roughly 24 hours later, White said, he was “basically being told, ‘Thanks, but no thanks.’ ”
White was one of the first insurance commissioners in the nation last week to push back against Obama’s attempt to smooth over part of the botched rollout of the Affordable Care Act: millions of unexpected cancellations of insurance plans.

Bill Maher accuses Obama of having "a messiah complex"

Did I say Obama? I meant Bill Maher accuses Mitt Romney of having "a messiah complex.

"

Partial transcript:
BILL MAHER: Do you think that they have a messiah complex, because I always heard that Obama was “The One,” you know.

REIHAN SALAM: He hasn’t pledged to lower the level of the seas yet.

MAHER: Okay, but wait. This is what Ann Romney, I heard Ann Romney say this week. She was interview on 30 Rock. She said, “I believe in my heart” – they asked her, “Why do you work so hard for Mitt?” – “I believe in my heart that Mitt is going to save America.” Really? Save? Does America need saving? That’s like when Justin Timberlake was going to bring sexy back. Sexy went away and so you brought it back. America needs…

MARK CUBAN: It’s his wife. What do you expect her to say?

MAHER: I know, but I’ve never heard that either. I understand that the guy is, we don’t agree with him, but that America actually needs saving? Listen to this.

SALAM: You didn’t hear Michelle Obama say some over the top things about Barack Obama?

MAHER: No, I’ve never heard that. I never heard that.

Michelle Obama: “This President has brought us out of the dark and into the light,”

Obama is the Socialist liberal Messiah. You only have to believe.

Via Politico:
First lady Michelle Obama hit the campaign trail in Nashville on Tuesday and told a packed crowd in a downtown office building that the campaign has an “amazing story to tell.”
“This President has brought us out of the dark and into the light,” she said. “But we need each and every one of you as fired up as you’ve been.”
The first lady made roughly the same stump speech of recent weeks, chronicling the acomplishments of her husband’s first term, from the auto industry rescue to health care reform, ending the war in Iraq and the killing of Osama bin Laden. In a roughly 26-minute speech to a crowd of about 450, she also appealed to women voters, highlighting her husband’s signing of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.
“That’s the first thing your president did,” she said. “He did this because he knows what it means when women aren’t treated fairly in the workplace.”

President Obama Compares his "Change" to "Freeing the Slaves"

President Obama was elected on a media trumped up feeling of "Hope and Change." This "Hopey-Changey" feeling has worn off for many. Most Americans have come to grips with the fact Obama is no 'Messiah.' President Obama still believes in himself. At an event for Gen44, he compared his "change" to Freeing of the slaves."

Via RCP:
“People are frustrated, their anxious, they’re scared about the future. And they have a right to be impatient about the pace of change. I’m impatient,” President Obama said at an event for Gen44. “It took time to free the slaves,” he added.

Call Obama a “pr*ck” and Get Banned From U.S. For Life

That is what has happened to one British teenager. If you are a foreigner and want to visit the U.S, don't criticize the 'Messiah.'

FOX News reported:
A British teenager who sent an e-mail to the White House calling President Obama a “pr*ck” was banned from the U.S. for life, The Sun reported Monday.

The FBI asked local cops to tell college student Luke Angel, 17, that his drunken insult was “unacceptable.”

Angel claims he fired off a single e-mail criticizing the U.S. government after seeing a television program about the 9/11 attacks . He said, “I don’t remember exactly what I wrote as I was drunk. But I think I called Barack Obama a pr*ck. It was silly — the sort of thing you do when you’re a teenager and have had a few.”

Obama Claims He is Making Decisions "for the next generations,”

Brian Williams asked President Obama about the Glenn Beck rally. Not surprisingly, President Obama ignored the rally. Obama also took a swipe at polls revealing many people think he is a Muslim.
"I can't spend all my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead."

The surprising thing President Obama revealed was this comment.
“I’m making decisions that are not necessarily good for the nightly news and not good for the next election, but for the next generations,” he says.

This reveals much about Obama's thinking. He doesn't care what ordinary Americans or even the people who elected him think. He is a liberal elitist who sincerely believes he knows what is best for everyone else. President Obama views himself as a messiah-like figure. He will continue to do everything in his power to continue the hard left turn he has taken the country on. The damage he is doing to ordinary Americans and the Democratic Party in the short term is completely irrelevant to him.

The Messiah Announces a 'Meaningful, But Non-binding' Climate Change Agreement

Apparently, Europeans aren't impressed. Obama may claim a great victory, but in Europe they consider this is a defeat.

Ahmadinejad Claims U.S. is Blocking Return of Messiah

If you needed additional proof Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is crazy, here it is:

FOX News reported:
“We have documented proof that they believe that a descendant of the prophet of Islam will raise in these parts and he will dry the roots of all injustice in the world,” Ahmadinejad said during a speech on Monday, according to Al Arabiya.

"They have devised all these plans to prevent the coming of the Hidden Imam because they know that the Iranian nation is the one that will prepare the grounds for his coming and will be the supporters of his rule," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, Iranian student protesters shout “Death to Dictators!”.

Macho Sauce: Obama Worship (video)

Conservatives sometimes ridicule Obama as "the Messiah." This video does a good job of explaining why.

From YouTube:
Liberals deny calling Obama the Messiah, but they're reverence for Obama says it all.
