India and China Bail on Copenhagen Accord

India and China have had time to rethink the Copenhagen Accord and they aren't interested in signing.

The Hindu reported:

An Indian official said that though the government had been thinking of signing the accord because it “did not have any legal teeth and would be good diplomatically”; it felt irked because of repeated messages from both UN officials and developed countries to accede to it.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has written to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon seeking a number of clarifications on the implications of the accord that India ...

Copenhagen Climate Change Deal In Tatters

The nonbinding Copenhagen Accord is rapidly falling apart as countries fail to meet the January 31 deadline to declare their emissions reduction targets. The chances of the US ever passing Cap and Tax legislation has been greatly diminished by the election of Scott Brown to the Senate.

FT reported:
The timetable to reach a global deal to tackle climate change lay in tatters on Wednesday after the United Nations waived the first deadline of the process laid out at last month’s fractious Copenhagen summit.

Nations agreed then to declare their emissions reduction targets by the end of this month. Developed countries would state their intended cuts by 2020: developing countries would outline how they would curb emissions growth.

But Yvo de Boer, the UN’s senior climate change official, admitted the deadline had in effect been shelved.

Great News! Carbon Prices Plunge in Europe!

I hope Al Gore goes broke. The carbon dioxide market plunged after the Copenhagen debacle.
Carbon prices plunged yesterday in the aftermath of the Copenhagen conference on climate change, dealing a blow to the credibility of the European Union’s carbon-trading scheme. Prices for carbon permits for December 2010 delivery, the benchmark contract for pricing European permits, dropped nearly 10 per cent in early trading, before recovering to end the day 8.3 per cent lower at €12.41. Lower prices give companies less incentive to invest in cutting their greenhouse gas output. Analysts estimate that prices of more than €40 a tonne are required to stimulate investment in new low-carbon technologies.

Global Warming Skeptic Lord Monckton Assaulted In Copenhagen By Danish Police

Is there no end to what outrage the climate change establishment will go to in order to silence their critics?

From the SPPI Blog:

Once again, conscious that a police helicopter with a high-resolution

I came to some time later (not sure exactly how long), to find my head being cradled by my friends, some of whom were doing their best to keep the police thugs at bay while the volunteer ambulance-men attended to me.

The Messiah Announces a 'Meaningful, But Non-binding' Climate Change Agreement

Apparently, Europeans aren't impressed. Obama may claim a great victory, but in Europe they consider this is a defeat.

Let Hugo Chavez's Copenhagen speech "bring it home" for you. Don't miss the "thunderous" applause at the end.

Blizzard Dumps Snow on Copenhagen

There was a blizzard in Copenhagen last night. Unfortunately, it failed to stop the hot air about global warming.

Al Gore Spits Shoe leather in Copenhagen

Al Gore got caught making things up. He claimed new research indicated the Arctic could be ice free in five to seven years. However, the climatologist, whose work Al Gore referenced, indicated Al Gore is a big fat liar.

The Times reported:

In his speech, Mr Gore told the conference: "These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years."

However, the climatologist whose work Mr Gore was relying upon dropped the former Vice-President in the water with an icy blast.

"It's unclear to me how this figure was arrived at," Dr Maslowski said. "I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this."

Al Gore is Freaked Out About Melting Ice or Something (video)

Al Gore spent made a speech in Copenhagen about 'melting ice.' Yes. According to the Goracle, "When it is gone, it is gone." I guess Al Gore never visited the University of Illinois website. They are the 'keepers' of sea ice data. According to their records, sea ice has been stable for 150 years.

It is true that some glaciers are melting. This could be considered a normal thing since the Earth has been in a slight warming trend after coming out of a little ice age around 1850. Some glacier melt, such as Kilimanjaro, can be attributed to deforestation. If you still think Al Gore has any scientific credibility, check out his discovery of "stellar fusion" at the Earth's core.

Global Warming Elite Arrive In Copenhagen In Style For Junk Science Conference (video)

The 1,200 limos, 140 private planes and estimated 16,500 delegates, activists and reporters expected for the 12 day junk science conference will have a carbon footprint larger than some countries do annually.

From FOX News:
The U.N. estimates the 12-day conference will create 40,584 tons of carbon dioxide equivalents, roughly the same amount as the carbon emissions of Morocco in 2006.

From YouTube:
Americans for Prosperity investigates the "carbon-conscious" way many U.N. delegates are getting to the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (COP15).

1,200 limos, 140 private planes, caviar wedges and climate change fraud

Many world leaders will gather in Copenhagen to 'save the planet' from carbon emissions. They will fly in on their private planes, jump into their limos and scurry to a banquet to munch down some caviar. This sounds like a sarcastic form of satire, but is the actual truth. Meanwhile, the Climategate scandal continues and world leaders and the state run media continue to pretend to ignore the obvious. The Earth has stopped warming in spite of rising CO2 levels. Liberal world leaders don't think reality is a good enough reason to abandon their plan to raise the worlds taxes by trillions of dollars in the name of environmentalism.

The Telegraph reported:

Ms Jorgensen reckons that between her and her rivals the total number of limos in Copenhagen next week has already broken the 1,200 barrier.
The French alone rang up on Thursday and ordered another 42. "We haven't got enough limos in the country to fulfil the demand," she says. "We're having to drive them in hundreds of miles from Germany and Sweden."
