UN Asks Hollywood To Propaganda Anthropogenic Global Warming Fraud

More people are coming to the realization that the science behind anthropogenic global warming really isn't settled at all. The UN is now asking Hollywood to help pull the wool back over your eyes by adding global warming propaganda to your TV shows and movies.

(LA Times)- It is a mutually beneficial arrangement. Hollywood stars grasp at gravitas; the U.N. pushes for publicity.

Now the beleaguered multi-national agency, fresh from a disappointing round of climate negotiations in Cancun, wants something more concrete: actual story lines in movies, television and social media drawing attention to the dangers of global warming.

NASA Laboratory Head James Hansen Suggests China Should Destroy Our Economy If We Don't Play Along With The Global Warming Scam

Mr. Hansen has another idea to circumvent our democracy. Because Congress is not likely to pass any legislation making carbon-based energy prohibitively expensive, he proposed, in the South China Morning Post, that China lead a boycott of our economy:

"After agreement with other nations, e.g., the European Union, China and these nations could impose rising internal carbon fees. Existing rules of the World Trade Organization would allow collection of a rising border duty on products from all nations that do not have an equivalent internal carbon fee or tax.

"The United States then would be forced to make a choice. It could either address its fossil-fuel addiction ... or ... accept continual descent into second-rate and third-rate economic well-being." (accent is mine)

Senate Democrats Unveil Cap And Tax Legislation

In a bid to use shock over the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, Senator's John Kerry and Joe Lieberman have unveiled the Senate version of Cap and Trade. The bill seeks to cut carbon emissions by 80% by 2050 through use of what Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called "a job-killing national energy tax." No Republican is currently supporting the bill. Many think anthropogenic global warming by CO2 has been called into question by the Climategate scandal.

AP reported:

Sens. John Kerry and Joe Lieberman unveiled a long-awaited bill Wednesday that aims to curtail pollution blamed for global warming, reduce oil imports and create millions of energy-related jobs.

The 987-page bill, the product of more than seven months of negotiations and tweaked recently in response to the Gulf oil spill, also includes new protections for offshore drilling and for the first time would set a price on carbon dioxide emissions produced by coal-fired power plants and other large polluters.

Penn State climatologist Michael Mann, implicated in "climategate" scandal, is threatening to launch a lawsuit against the producers of this parody video posted on YouTube.

Minnesotans for Global Warming initially pulled the video, but after receiving promises of support are telling Dr. Mann to "bring it on."

In his letter Mann threatened legal action, claiming the spoof video "illegally used his image and defamed him."

Neither Mann nor Penn State responded to requests for comments...

Davis and No Cap and Trade said they welcome the lawsuit.

The group is eager to conduct an in-depth probe of Mann's work and "finally look at how it was done. We understand why Michael Mann is eager to silence public discussion of the hockey stick scandal, but truth is an absolute defense."

According to Davis, the video was created in the wood-warmed RV that is the "world headquarters " for Minnesotans for Global Warming and its three members, who jokingly think that Minnesota could use a little more heat.

When the letter first arrived, they quickly pulled the video from You Tube and their website because they couldn't afford to defend against a lawsuit...

Al Gore Comes Out of Hiding and Gets a Fisking

Al Gore has been mostly MIA during the recent rash of blizzards in Washington that shut the government down. Perhaps he was snowed in and has only now dug his way out. He went to the Apple board meeting (he is a board member) and was soundly ridiculed by many shareholders. This hasn't deterred Al or the NYT. The New York Times is still willing to give him a venue to beat the ''dead horse' of global warming.

I, for one, genuinely wish that the climate crisis were an illusion. But unfortunately, the reality of the danger we are courting has not been changed by the discovery of at least two mistakes in the thousands of pages of careful scientific work over the last 22 years by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. In fact, the crisis is still growing because we are continuing to dump 90 million tons of global-warming pollution every 24 hours into the atmosphere — as if it were an open sewer.

It is true that the climate panel published a flawed overestimate of the melting rate of debris-covered glaciers in the Himalayas, and used information about the Netherlands provided to it by the government, which was later found to be partly inaccurate. In addition, e-mail messages stolen from the University of East Anglia in Britain showed that scientists besieged by an onslaught of hostile, make-work demands from climate skeptics may not have adequately followed the requirements of the British freedom of information law...

Let's do some fisking of the "Goracles" statements.

Al Gore: "I, for one, genuinely wish that the climate crisis were an illusion."
Fact: Al Gore is believed to have made at least $100 million off of the global warming scam. Does he really wish he didn't have that money?

Fact: Saying "at least two mistakes" is really deceptive. The IPCC report used unpublished student dissertations and information from special interest groups to formulate sections of it's report. There are so may errors in the IPCC 2007 report, an independent board has been set up to review the workings of the world’s top climate science panel.

Al Gore: "e-mail messages stolen from the University of East Anglia in Britain showed that scientists besieged by an onslaught of hostile, make-work demands from climate skeptics may not have adequately followed the requirements of the British freedom of information law."
Fact: Saying global warming scientists "may not have adequately followed the requirements of the British freedom of information law" is really sugar coating it. How does that explain climatologists conspiring to hide information , deleting emails, suppressing criticism, evading taxes and many other transgressions?

Al Gore: "What is important is that the overwhelming consensus on global warming remains unchanged."
Fact: The climatologist, Phil Jones, at the heart of the Climategate scandal now admits the Medieval Warm Period may have been as warm as today. This week, The Institute of Physics issued a scathing document on the shoddiness of the science behind the man-made global warming claim.

The British Parliament's Science and Technology committee has has welcomed comment as part of their investigation of the UEA CRU e-mails released in Climategate. The Institute of Physics is a scientific charity with over 36,000 members worldwide.

The Institute of Physics has responded. Here are the first six points of their thirteen point document. Their conclusions are very damning to the integrity of the climate research community.

1. The Institute is concerned that, unless the disclosed e-mails are proved to be forgeries or adaptations, worrying implications arise for the integrity of scientific research in this field and for the credibility of the scientific method as practised in this context.

2. The CRU e-mails as published on the internet provide prima facie evidence of determined and co-ordinated refusals to comply with honourable scientific traditions and freedom of information law. The principle that scientists should be willing to expose their ideas and results to independent testing and replication by others, which requires the open exchange of data, procedures and materials, is vital. The lack of compliance has been confirmed by the findings of the Information Commissioner. This extends well beyond the CRU itself - most of the e-mails were exchanged with researchers in a number of other international institutions who are also involved in the formulation of the IPCC's conclusions on climate change.

3. It is important to recognise that there are two completely different...

IPCC Admits Another Scam Flaw in Their Report

After previously retracting clais about melting Himalayan glaciers and disappearing Amazon rain forests, the IPCC is now retracting the claim global warming has caused most of the Netherlands to be under sea level.

OSLO (Reuters) - The U.N. panel of climate experts overstated how much of the Netherlands is below sea level, according to a preliminary report on Saturday, admitting yet another flaw after a row last month over Himalayan glacier melt.

This is a startling confession from 'Climategate' expert Phil Jones, The BBC is reporting Jones agrees two recent historic warm periods are similar to today and he can't say the Medieval Warm Period wasn't even warmer than today. Of course, the infamous 'Hockey stick' temperature graph doesn't show this historic warming. The data was cooked smoothed and truncated to eliminate these warm periods and accentuate the modern instrumental temperature record. Here is the 'Hockey stick.'

NYT: Obama's $3.8T Budget Lays Groundwork for Cap-And-Trade

According to this NYT's article, President Obama's new budget proposal includes a 'placeholder' for Cap and Trade. President Obama wants to go 'full speed ahead' with Cap and Trade in spite of mounting evidence of bogus claims in the IPCC reports and the Climategate email scandal.

The president's $3.8 trillion spending plan calls for lawmakers to set up a "comprehensive market-based climate change policy" that would curb heat-trapping emissions in the range of 17 percent below 2005 levels by 2020, followed by midcentury cuts of more than 80 percent.

Are We Headed Into A Mini Ice Age?

Some Climate Scientists think we are. There is certainly anecdotal evidence from the recent cold temperatures and large snowstorms.

Climatologists Claim They Know the Future, But Can't Predict This Winter

Computer models can't accurately predict the weather over the next few weeks. The story excerpted below highlights the failure of the UK Met Office to predict a cooler than normal winter. They predicted the opposite. However, anthropogenic global warming believers would have us believe their simplified climatology model versions of weather prediction software can predict a catastrophic increase in the temperature over the next 100 years. They want us to spend trillions of dollars and do long term damage to the worlds economy based on these unsubstantiated predictions. We would have to be insane to comply with out better proof. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. AGW believers have failed to muster that proof.

This is our own famous Met Office, which last September confidently predicted a warmer than average winter for Britain. Tell that to Eurostar passengers stuck in the Channel Tunnel for 18 hours before Christmas, the breakdown of their trains blamed on the coldest weather for 15 years.

Not until late November did the Met Office tone down its prediction by saying that there was a '50 per cent chance' of a mild winter.

Spinning a coin could have given the same result ...

Study Shows No Increase in Atmospheric CO2 Percentage

Why is this important? Global warming can't be attributed to man-made CO2 unless the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is increasing.

You have to see this to believe it. Look up close and admire the detail while you despair at how long science has been going off the rails. To better appreciate the past and what was exposed by the CRU emails, the time-line chart consolidates and chronologically organizes the information uncovered and published about the CRU emails by many researchers along with some related contextual events. How a Global Warming Consensus Was Manufactured

If anthropogenic global warming isn't really happened, why do we have all those 'peer reviewed' papers from mainstream scientists supporting the AGW theory? The answer is in the emails leaked from the East Anglia Hadley CRU. Here is is part of what Patrick Michaels wrote in a WSJ article. BTW, he is the scientist who the Hadley CRU mob wanted to "beat the crap" out of.

A refereed journal, Climate Research, published two particular papers that offended Michael Mann of Penn State and Tom Wigley of the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research. One of the papers, published in 2003 by Willie Soon and Sallie Baliunas (of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics), was a meta-analysis of dozens of "paleoclimate" studies that extended back 1,000 years. They concluded that 20th-century temperatures could not confidently be considered to be warmer than those indicated at the beginning of the last millennium.

Russian IEA claims CRU cherry-picked warmest stations From Russia. The Hadley Center for Climate Change didn't use data from over 40% of Russian territory because the data did not support global warming.

Over 40% of Russian territory was not included in global-temperature calculations for some other reasons, rather than the lack of meteorological stations and observations.

The data of stations located in areas not listed in the Hadley Climate Research Unit Temperature UK (HadCRUT) survey often does not show any substantial warming in the late 20th century and the early 21st century.

UN Security Pulls Microphone Cord After Journalist Asked Al Gore Inconvenient Question

The Messiah of anthropogenic global warming, Al Gore, appears above questioning. A journalist, Phelim McAleer, tried to ask the Goracle if he would correct his blatantly false statements claiming all the Climategate emails are at least ten years old. Not only did Gore refuse to answer, but UN Security pulled his microphone cord after he asked Al Gore that "Inconvenient Question."

CNN Risks Being Considered Real Journalists By Asking Al Gore About Climategate

CNN takes the risk being accused of real journalism by asking Al Gore about Climategate. They weren't very tough on him, but it is surprising they even asked these softball questions. Gore continues his lying claims that the emails are 10 years old. Many are from the last two years. Gore also claims the leaked emails are taken out of contesxt. However, when you put them in context, it only gets worse.

Journalist Asks Climategate Question at UN Conference: They Call Security (video)

It doesn't pay to ask an 'inconvenient' question question in Copenhagen. A journalist, Phelim McAleer, attending an open press conference by global warming alarmist Stephen Schneider asked about the Phil Jones emails asking colleagues to delete emails. Schneider refused to answer, while his assistant tried to physically take the microphone away from McAleer. After she failed, UN security was called and they forced McAleer's cameraman to stop filming.



These morons are so obsessed with forcing their vision of a 'green Earth' on the world; they are willing to act in a totalitarian manner. For people willing to go to these extremes, lying about the actual temperature record or real cause of climate change is nothing. They are willing to do whatever it takes to impose their vision on the world. It doesn't hurt their motivation that many of them are getting rich in the process.
