Alleged Black Panther Ferguson bombing plot failed because there was no money on an EBT card...

So, the Black Panthers allegedly involved in the alleged were going to buy bombs with a girlfriends EBT card money. How does this make you feel about your tax dollars going to welfare and food stamps?

Via Stl. Today:
Two men indicted last week on federal weapons charges allegedly had plans to bomb the Gateway Arch — and to kill St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch and Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson — the Post-Dispatch has learned.
Sources close to the investigation were uncertain whether the men had the capability to carry out the plans, although the two allegedly did buy what they thought was a pipe bomb in an undercover law enforcement sting.
The men wanted to acquire two more bombs, the sources said, but could not afford to do it until one suspect’s girlfriend’s Electronic Benefit Transfer card was replenished. […]
One of the defendants’ plans, the sources said, included planting a bomb inside the observation deck at the top of the Arch. It was not clear how they could have gotten a bomb past airport-style security screening for rides up.

Winston-Salem North Carolina To Honor The Black Panthers…

Racist organizations should not get honored by historical markers.

Via Winston-Salem Journal:
Born out of the tumult of the 1960s, the Black Panther Party is usually portrayed as a militant organization with radical political views.

But there’s another side to the story of the Black Panthers, one that involved feeding breakfast to poor children, operating an ambulance service for people in neglected areas, screening people for sickle-cell anemia and infusing a spirit of black pride within their communities.

That version of the Black Panther story will be recognized today when city officials unveil a historic marker for the Winston-Salem chapter of the Black Panther Party at the northeast corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Fifth Street, near the group’s former headquarters.

The Winston-Salem chapter, organized in 1969, was the first to be formed in the Southeast.

Nelson Malloy, an early member of the party who later became member of the Winston-Salem City Council, said he never imaged the Panthers would be recognized in such an official capacity.
“But we are, in fact, part of the city’s history,” he said.

Dems Panic at the Possibility of Former Black Panther Charles Barron Winning a Congressional Seat

Let's see. Charles Barron wanted to slap “the closest white person,” thought Muammar el-Qaddafi was a "hero" and Thomas Jefferson was a "pedophile." He should fit in perfectly with the Congressional Black Caucus.

Via NYT's:
Suddenly, Charles Barron has regained the ability to shock.

The New York political world had long ago become accustomed to the incendiary words of Mr. Barron, a confrontational onetime Black Panther turned three-term City Councilman. His more outrageous remarks over the years, from calling Thomas Jefferson a pedophile to likening Gaza to a “concentration death camp” to expressing his desire to slap “the closest white person,” have given way to a reputation as a showboat and provocateur on the political fringe.

Considered an afterthought when he announced his candidacy for the United States Congress last November — in a speech in which he called Muammar el-Qaddafi “my hero” and pledged to never salute the American flag — Democratic leaders are now fretfully talking about a prospect they once considered unthinkable: a Congressman Barron.

AG Eric Holder Get Huffy About Black Panther Voter Intimidation Case and Calls Blacks "My People"

My people? Can you imagine the liberal and minority outrage if a white Attorney General referred to Caucasians as "my people?" Does this give you a warm and fuzzy feeling Eric Holder is trying to be an Attorney General for all Americans? He inadvertently added credence to the case his Justice Department is biased.
(The Politico)- The Attorney General seemed to take personal offense at a comment Culberson read in which former Democratic activist Bartle Bull called the incident the most serious act of voter intimidation he had witnessed in his career.

“Think about that,” Holder said. “When you compare what people endured in the South in the 60s to try to get the right to vote for African Americans, and to compare what people were subjected to there to what happened in Philadelphia—which was inappropriate, certainly that…to describe it in those terms I think does a great disservice to people who put their lives on the line, who risked all, for my people,” said Holder, who is black.
Here is the video of Black Panther members standing in front of a polling place with billy clubs and intimidating voters. Anyone who doesn't find this shocking is clearly biased.

The New Black Panthers "Prepare For War" With The Tea Party

It is unclear why the New Black Panthers are worried about the Tea Party. After all, they have Eric Holder on their side. He dismissed voter intimidation charges after the government had a default judgment conviction.

Issues Wire
reported: .
“With the rise of the Tea Party, the white-right and other racist forces. With gun sales nationwide at an all time high amongst whites, with a mood that is more anti-Black than any time recent, it is imperative that we organize our forces, pool our resources and prepare for war!” Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz, Esq. Convention Convener and Party Chairman.

Team Obama Stonewalls Civil Rights Commission on Black Panther Case

Remember when Black Panthers with billy clubs blocked a polling place entrance in Philadelphia during the 2008 Presidential election? Here is the video:

Obama's Justice Department drop charges against the men last month in spite of having the case won. The U.S. Civil Rights Commission is investigating, but Team Obama isn't cooperating.

Last month, the Obama administration’s decision to dismiss a default judgment against the New Black Panther Party in a clear case of voter intimidation (caught on videotape and circulated on the internet) drew scrutiny from Congress and from the U.S. Civil Rights Commission. That scrutiny has now resulted in one announced investigation by the Justice Department’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) and set the stage for a battle between the administration and the Commission.
