House Ways and Means Committee will vote to ask DOJ to file criminal charges against Lois Lerner

I am sure Eric Holder will get right on that request.
The Politico reported:
The House Ways and Means Committee will vote this week to formally ask the Justice Department to pursue criminal charges against former IRS employee Lois Lerner, an official at the center of Republican probes of the matter.
The committee will mark up a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday accusing Lerner of committing three crimes relating to the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups seeking tax exempt status, a Republican staffer said.
The controversy erupted in May when Lerner admitted the agency given extra scrutiny to tea party groups – an acknowledgement that has cost a handful of agency employees their jobs, including its commissioner, and prompted a series of congressional investigations.
This action is separate of plans from House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa to hold a contempt vote against the former exempt organizations division head on Thursday.
Lerner has become the focus of congressional efforts to investigate what happened at the IRS, with Republicans accusing her of sharing private taxpayer data and obsessing over the Citizens United Supreme Court case.

DOJ drops criminal investigation of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio; finds no prosecutable crimes

The whole thing was a likely political vendetta anyway.
(Reuters) - Two tough-on-immigration Arizona sheriffs with national profiles in the Republican Party were cleared of criminal wrongdoing on Friday in unrelated probes, though one remains accused of racial profiling and other abuses in a pair of federal lawsuits.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Arizona said it had closed its criminal investigation of alleged financial misconduct by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, self-described as "America's toughest sheriff", and was declining to bring charges.

But a separate U.S. Justice Department investigation and lawsuit relating to alleged civil rights abuses by Arpaio's office, including accusations of widespread racial profiling in his immigration enforcement, is continuing, federal prosecutors said. Read more here.

Alleged "Crazed Sex Poodle" Al Gore May Be Prosecuted

Could things get any worse for Al Gore? First the settled science of global warming was called into question by Climategate. Then, he announced a divorce from his wife Tipper after 40 years of marriage. That announcement was quickly followed by allegations of an extramarital affair. Now, he may face charges for an alleged sexual assault against a masseuse in 2006.

Big Government reported:

In a bombshell new development in the Al Gore sex scandal — broken exclusively earlier today by The ENQUIRER — the Oregon District Attorney says there’s “the possibility of a criminal prosecution.”

In a statement just released by Multnomah County (OR.) D.A. Michael D. Schrunk, the official reveals that “our office was notified by the Portland Police Bureau that further investigation of this matter had been conducted by it in 2009 ...

Schrunk goes on to add: “If the complainant and the Portland Police Bureau wish to pursue the possibility of a criminal prosecution, additional investigation by the Bureau will be necessary and will be discussed with the Portland Police Bureau.”...

Actor-director Sean Penn charged with treason battery

The treason charge is just wishful thinking about Penn's support for dictators. He is actually being charged with battery for beating up a photographer.

Yahoo! News reported:
Penn will be arraigned March 22 on the two misdemeanor charges, said Los Angeles city attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan...

If convicted, Penn could face up to 18 months in jail."

Rajendra Pachauri, chairman of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), used bogus claims about Himalayan glaciers melting to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds. Navy Seals Brought Up On Assault Charges After Capturing A Most Wanted Terrorist

March 31, 2004: Iraqis chant anti-American slogans as the charred and mutilated bodies of U.S. contractors hang from a bridge over the Euphrates River in Fallujah, Iraq.

This is outrageous. The political correctness of the Obama Administration risks destroying the morale of our military.

FOX News
reported:
Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq -- the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

The Navy Seals allegedly gave the terrorist scumbag a bloody lip. It is unbelievable they are being charged, even if this is true.

It is no longer a crime to wear a T-shirt reading NOBAMA in Denver

Criminal charges were dropped against a high school student in Denver who wore a "NOBAMA" t-shirt to a Michelle Obama speech. Now, can we arrest the morons who thought he should be charged in the first place? Reported by the Denver Post:
Criminal charges against a junior at Dakota Ridge High School, who wore a T-shirt saying "NOBAMA" before an appearance and speech last fall by Michelle Obama at the school, were dropped Thursday.

Blake Benson, 17, was one of three students at the school who chose to "stay and campaign" for Sen. John McCain when Michelle Obama spoke at the school on Nov. 3.

At the time of his arrest, Benson was holding a McCain-Palin campaign sign.

He was handcuffed and taken to the school's administrative office, said Dan Recht, a Denver lawyer who took the case on behalf of the American Civil Liberties Union, which represented Benson.

Benson was given a "promise to appear" citation by a Jefferson County sheriff's deputy and accused of "interference with staff of an educational facility," said Recht. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department decided not to forward the citation to prosecutors, effectively dropping the case.

Recht said Benson also was given a one-day suspension by the school. Shortly after the incident, the school rescinded the suspension.

Recht said he learned Thursday that authorities would not pursue the interference charge.

"There is no more classically protected speech than peacefully protesting against one candidate and for another," said Recht. "What Blake Benson was doing is as American as apple pie."
