Mind-Exploding Hypocrisy: Nancy Pelosi Claims “Democrats have long fought for fiscal responsibility"
I am astounded.
Here is what happened did to the National Deficit under the leadership of Speaker Pelosi with an overwhelming Democratic Majority.
That chart represents a 5.2 trillion increase in the national deficit under Pelosi's leadership.
(RCP)- “Democrats have long fought for fiscal responsibility as a top priority of this Congress. We won’t go into the history right now, but it is well known that President Clinton took us out of a period of deficit into his last five budgets being in surplus or in balance,” Democratic House Leader Nancy Pelosi said on the floor today.Video Via Weasel Zippers:

Wisconsin Public Union Leaders Viciously Criticize Tactics Used To Pass Collective Bargaining Bill, But Praised Similarly Passed Obamacare
In a round of mind-exploding hypocrisy, Wisconsin WEAC president Mary Bell and AFSCME 24's Marty Beil harshly criticized the Wisconsin GOP and Gov. Walker for the tactics used to pass their collective bargaining bill. They criticized splitting of the budgetary and non-budgetary items in order to allow passage under Wisconsin Senate rules and used terms like "nuclear option". They accused Republicans of ramming through a bill the majority of Wisconsin citizens don't support. Is this beginning to sound familiar? Watch the video. it is worth it just to see progressives this outraged.
Last March, The AFSCME and WTCS practically gushed at passage of Obamacare under reconciliation rules and against the wishes of the majority of voters.

Statement of AFSCME Pres. Gerald W. McEntee on final passage of the health care reconciliation bill
Washington, DC — “AFSCME members fought hard to pass President Obama’s health care reform package. We are grateful to President Obama, Senator Reid and Speaker Pelosi for their leadership and commitment throughout this entire process. Health care reform is a remarkable achievement. This victory will protect and improve good union health care benefits. It stops the worst abuses of the insurance companies. It gives workers and families without coverage on-the-job access to affordable health care. It ends skyrocketing premiums and caps on benefits. It helps seniors by strengthening Medicare and helps preserve employer coverage for early retirees. It provides critical new funding to states...

Largely lost in the celebration over the passage of healthcare reform was another huge win for students and the rest of the education community: the legislation passed by Congress includes billions of dollars for student financial aid and community & technical colleges.
In addition to healthcare reform, the recently passed budget reconciliation bill cuts banks out of the student loan business and puts the federal government in charge of directly lending to students.

BREAKING NEWS: Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin have circumvented their Democratic colleagues and used a procedural trick to strip public workers of their right to collectively bargain.

Mind-Exploding Hypocrisy: UN Condemns Libya for Human Rights Violations
The UN Security Council voted unanimously to condemn Libya for gross human rights violations.
Late Saturday night, history was made in New York. Every member of the UN security council raised their hand to support a resolution condemning the gross violations of human rights in Libya.Where is the mind-exploding hypocrisy, you ask? Libya was overwhelmingly voted a member of the UN Human Rights Council less than a year ago.
They all voted not only to impose sweeping sanctions on Libya's rulers but also to refer the situation in the country to the international criminal court (ICC) for investigations into possible crimes against humanity.
Astonishingly, in May 2010, in a secret ballot, Libya received a shocking 155 votes (out of 192 countries), and was elected to the UN Human Rights Council.Moammar Gadhafi is the same person he was less than a year ago when he received 155 of 195 votes for the UN's Human Rights Council.
The world was certainly aware of the vast litany of domestic and international crimes committed by the Gadhafi regime. Even in the corridors of the UN there was occasional talk and concern about Libya’s human rights practices, such as extrajudicial and summary executions, systematic use of torture, and the imposition of the death penalty for political and economic offenses.

Hypocrisy: 2009 Nobel Peace Prize Winner Hosted a Lavish Dinner for Man Holding 2010 Winner Prisoner
The hypocrisy of President Obama is mind-blowing. He accepted the 2009 Nobel peace prize for good will as opposed to actual accomplishments. A little over one year later he hosts a lavish state dinner for China's President Hu Jintao. Meanwhile, President Hu Jintao is holding 2010 Nobel Prize winner Liu Xiaobo prisoner. Liu Xiaobo is a democracy activist. When Obama won the Nobel Prize, he claimed it was a "call to action."
Obama said he viewed the decision less as a recognition of his own accomplishments and more as "a call to action."It's starting to look more like a call to the dinner table. I wonder what Liu Xiaobo had for dinner that night?

Demo Rep: Charlie Rangel wants to get the "hypocrisy" out and for Congress to have more "morality"
Charlie Rangel is now being hypocritical about hypocrisy and morality. What is really shocking about the video is MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan fails to call Rangel out for his outlandish statements.

The Burning Hypocrisy of President Obama

The contrast between President Obama's reaction to the planned burning of Qurans by a Florida minister and the planned building of a Mosque two blocks from Ground Zero by a New York Imam couldn't be more different. Both people were clearly exercising their rights under the American Constitution and law. However, both parties were taking actions that were clearly offensive to certain groups. Quran burning is offensive to Muslims worldwide and the Ground Zero Mosque is offensive to victims and families of 9-11. President Obama fully supported the Ground Zero Mosque. He said,
"I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country,"
When it came to the free speech right to burn Qurans, President Obama had a different take on the issue. President Obama said,
""If he's listening, I just hope he understands that what he's proposing to do is completely contrary to our values..."
Both the Ground Zero Mosque and the planned Quran burning are boneheaded ideas, but President Obama failed to support the free speech rights of the Florida minister and failed to tell the NY Imam the Mosque location was a bad idea. Is it any wonder one in five Americans think Obama is a secret Muslim?
After a visit by the FBI, the Florida minister has announced a cancellation of the Quran burning and said he is flying to New York to meet the Ground Zero Mosque developer in the wake of a reported decision to move the Mosque location. Sources close to Sharif Al-Gamal deny a deal has been struck.
President Obama's could attempt to defend his decision to try and stop the Quran burning by saying he is protecting U.S. Military and civilian's lives by his Quran burning position. However, this brings to mind the failed policy of German appeasement before WW2.
