Obama's 'Back Door Amnesty' Isn't Helping With His Hispanic Polling Numbers

Actually, Obama's Hispanic support seems to be melting down. He has lost 5 points in one week.
(CNS News) — In the same week that Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that her department was going to review the cases of 300,000 illegal aliens in deportation proceedings and allow “low priority” cases to stay in the country and receive work permits — a move House Judiciary Chairman Lamar Smith called a “back door amnesty” — President Barack Obama’s approval dropped to an all-time low of 44 percent among Hispanics, according to Gallup polling data released today.
That is a drop of 41 points from the spring of 2009, when Obama’s approval among Hispanic Americans peaked at 85 percent (in the weeks that ended April 26, 2009 and May 17, 2009).
Obama’s approval among Hispanics dropped 5 points last week alone, falling from 49 percent in the week that ended Aug. 14 to its new low of 44 percent in the week that ended Aug. 21.

Demo Rep. Frederica Wilson: Blacks Are Unemployed Because of Racism or Something

No. More black Americans are not unemployed because of racism. They are unemployed because of the areas they live in and the leaders they have chosen for those areas. Business do not want to move into high tax, high crime, business unfriendly neighborhoods. Unfortunately, many blacks live in neighborhoods that fit that description.

Via NewsBusters:
TAMRON HALL: Let me get your response to David Axelrod saying the jobless issue, the unemployment issue, is not exclusive to one community.
FREDERICA WILSON: Well, it sounds good, but it is exclusive to one community.
HALL: But with the national unemployment rate –
WILSON: Well, when you look at African-American males, 40% of them are unemployed, those under 30 years of age. And I understand exactly that the entire nation must be involved in this recovery, but the black community is experiencing a great recession. That’s what we’re experiencing.  And all of the growth in the past 30 years, we see it slipping away. From home ownership, the middle class: it’s slipping away from our hands. And it has a lot to do with a lot of issues: racism, shipping jobs overseas, access, no access to technology, you know, the digital divide is there.

Obama spent millions of tax dollars to promote Obamacare to his key supporters

Screen capture of Obama paid Google ad from December of 2010.

The specific groups targeted were Hispanics, blacks, and women.

Via Judicial Watch:
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it obtained documents from the Obama Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) showing that the Obama White House helped coordinate a multimillion dollar taxpayer-funded campaign to use Internet search engines such as Google and Yahoo to drive web traffic to a government website promoting the Affordable Health Care Act (also known as Obamacare). The expressed purpose of this campaign is to increase public support for the president’s health care overhaul among key Obama campaign demographics, specifically Hispanics, blacks, and women.

The 2,328 pages of records, obtained by Judicial Watch pursuant to a March 23, 2011, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. Department of Health and Human Services (No. 11-608)), include internal correspondence between officials at the HHS office of the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs (ASPA), as well as communications with representatives from The Ogilvy Group, the public relations firm hired by the Obama administration to manage the Obamacare campaign.

Gallop Poll: Romney would beat Obama. Perry would tie.

Romney has been a declared candidate for a long time. This may have given him an edge in the poll.
(The Hill) — Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) would beat President Obama among registered voters, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) would tie the president if the election were held today, according to a new Gallup Poll.
The numbers reflect a worrying slide for Obama heading into the 2012 campaign season, and the poll gives each of those four Republican candidates the ability to sell their electability to primary voters.
Obama leads each Republican among national adults, but his lead narrows or disappears among registered voters.
Romney is the only candidate to beat Obama among registered voters, 48 to 46 percent, with 6 percent undecided, according to the new Gallup poll. Perry and Obama are tied at 47 percent among registered voters, also with 6 percent undecided.

Liberal MSM Omitted Maxine Waters Overt Threat to Tea Party

Most everyone has heard Demo Rep. Maxine Waters said,
“the Tea Party can go straight to hell"
Most of the MSM ended the story there, but Waters didn't stop. She continued,
“And I intend to help them get there.”
Lets listen for Democrats call for her resignation. Crickets...
(Breitbart TV) — While the media plays up the Los Angeles congresswoman’s “the Tea Party can go straight to hell’ comments from this weekend, they are ignoring what she said right after that. When the wild cheers of the audience calmed down, Rep. Waters then said: “And I intend to help them get there.”
Is there any doubt that if a Tea Party representative had said that “the Congressional Black Caucus can go straight to hell and we intend to help them get there”, we would be hearing loud condemnations about the hateful rhetoric from the extremists in the Republican Party?

Clueless Obama Calls Warren Buffett for Economic Advice

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett recently claimed he wanted his taxes increased. Hopefully, President Obama gave him the address to mail his check too.
(The Hill) — President Obama on Monday reached out to billionaire investor Warren Buffett and Ford CEO Alan Mulally for advice as he crafts a major jobs plan to be released after Labor Day.
Berkshire Hathaway head Buffett, who has become an Obama confidant, made waves earlier this month when he called on wealthy Americans to pay more in taxes in order to reduce the deficit.
Obama has been calling for higher taxes on the wealthy as part of a “balanced approach” to the debt.
“The President and Mr. Buffett discussed the overall outlook on the economy and the reaction to the headwinds we’ve experienced over the last couple of months,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said. “They talked a little bit about some possible measures that would spur investment and increase economic growth. And they also talked about some measures that could address the long-term fiscal situation in this country.”

President Obama skips 8th hole of golf out of fear of being photographed

Most Americans are suffering and can not afford an expensive vacation. Unemployment remains stubbornly high and the stock market melted-down during the last couple of weeks. President Obama has embarked on a long vacation at a ritzy Martha's Vineyard estate that rents for $50,000 a week. He doesn't want his golf game advertised.
(Boston Globe) — If his comings and goings yesterday are any indication, President Obama will be keeping a very low profile during his Martha’s Vineyard vacation.
On Day 1 of the first family’s nine-day stay on the island, Obama remained mostly out of sight, not emerging from Blue Heron Farm until 12:15 p.m., when his motorcade headed into Vineyard Haven and a visit to Bunch of Grapes Bookstore. (Daughters Sasha and Malia walked out with a bag containing, among other books, David Gessner’s “My Green Manifesto: Down the Charles River in Pursuit of a New Environmentalism,’’ which we recommended Obama read in our column this week.)
But it was later, at the Vineyard Golf Course in Edgartown, where the president’s recalcitrance was most evident. Approaching the eighth tee in a golf cart with friend and frequent golfing buddy Eric Whitaker, the president noticed three TV cameras and a Globe photographer across the street. Rather than stop and be photographed teeing off, the president skipped the hole.
