Feel Good Story: Pakistani suicide bombers get in fight, detonate each other...

 Karma...

Via Daily Mail:
Two would-be suicide bombers have died in Pakistan after an explosive device detonated as they fought each other, it has been reported.
The two men were killed in an explosion near Khayam Chowk in Sargodha, in the country’s Punjab province on Saturday morning.
Eyewitnesses claim the men, who were believed to have been wearing suicide vests, were sitting on a bench engaged in discussion before their deaths.
It is thought the two men began to fight and an improvised explosive device was triggered.
Following the blast, emergency services were called to the scene and the area was cordoned off.

Report: ISIS suicide bombers defecting or deserting...

Exploding for a bunch of losers isn't so popular...

Via Daily Mail:
The Islamic State is experiencing a shortage of suicide bombers after dozens of fighters deserted the terror group or defected to rival militias.
Reports from inside the ISIS-stronghold of Raqqa claim that a rebellion among a ‘martyrs battalion’ is a severe blow to the ISIS leadership who recruit foreign fighters for their suicide operations.
According to the respected anti-ISIS activists, Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently, ISIS has seen dozens of militants earmarked for suicide operations flee the battlefield or defect to other groups.
The news comes after ISIS was forced to admit defeat in the key battle for the northern Syrian town of Kobane, where it deployed many suicide bombers in what turned out to be a lost cause.

Karma: Hezbollah in Lebanon is afraid of attacks by suicide bombers...

There isn't anybody to cheer for in this conflict...

Via Times of Israel:
Fearing suicide attacks against Shi’ite targets in Lebanon, Hezbollah is adopting special security measures. According to Lebanese media reports, the Shi’ite organization has put up both fixed and mobile checkpoints in the heart of Baalbek, a Lebanese city known as a Shi’ite stronghold.
The unusual measures stem from concern about the possibility of bombings, similar to Tuesday’s incident in the Beir el-Abed neighborhood in Beirut’s Dahiyeh quarter during which 53 people were injured when an explosives-laden car exploded.
According to reports, the checkpoints were established near the city’s well-known Shi’ite study hall, or Husseiniya, named after the Imam Hussein. Similar procedures were implemented nearmosques.
Hezbollah is wary of a repeat of Tuesday’s attack and the passage of car bombs and suicide bombers from Syria to Shi’ite areas in Lebanon.
While there was no immediate claim of responsibility for that attack, there have been growing fears in Lebanon that Hezbollah could face retaliation for its now overt role fighting alongside President Bashar Assad’s troops inside Syria, including, activists say, in the embattled city of Homs near the Lebanese border.

Boston bombers tied to triple homicide from 2011...

Hmm...

Via Business Insider:
Law enforcement officials have told ABC News that “mounting” forensic evidence from an unsolved triple homicide ties Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to the crime.
Cell phone records also place the brothers in the area of the murders on the date they were committed.
On Sept. 11, 2011, three men were found in a residence with their throats slit and their bodies covered in marijuana.
Tamerlan described one of the murder victims, 25-year-old Brendan Mess, as his best friend. He and Mess were once roommates and boxed together. The two others who died were 31-year-old Erik Weissman and 37-year-old Raphael Teken, both of Cambridge.

Disgraceful: Speed bump and family got $100,000 in welfare benefits...

Taxpayers financed these Jihadist wannabees for years...

Via The Boston Herald:
The Tsarnaev family, including the suspected terrorists and their parents, benefited from more than $100,000 in taxpayer-funded assistance — a bonanza ranging from cash and food stamps to Section 8 housing from 2002 to 2012, the Herald has learned.

“The breadth of the benefits the family was receiving was stunning,” said a person with knowledge of documents handed over to a legislative committee today.

The state has handed over more than 500 documents to the 11-member House Post Audit and Oversight Committee, which today met for the first time and plans to call in officials from the Department of Transitional Assistance to testify.

Boston Marathon bombing suspects let carjack victim live because he wasn't an American...

Meanwhile, liberals and the mainstream media are still searching for a motive...

Via Washington Times:
The only reason the carjacking victim in the hunt for Boston Marathon bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev wasn’t killed was that he wasn’t an American, several media outlets have reported.
The victim made those statements to police, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Specifically, the report stated: The victim told police he was forced to drive the brothers in his Mercedes sport utility vehicle to a Shell gas station in Watertown, Mass. During the drive, the brothers “declared to [the victim] that they were the Boston Marathon bombers and would not kill him because he wasn’t American,” the Wall Street Journal reported.
The victim, who is unnamed, was carjacked at gunpoint shortly after the killing, allegedly by the Tsarnaev brothers, of a police office at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology late Thursday evening.

Jihad strikes Boston: Bomber brothers are Chechen's with an interest in radical Muslim ideologies.

The Washington Post is still unclear what the motive is...
Somehow,
The brothers’ alleged motive in Monday’s bombings remains unclear, but in the last several months, Tamerlan Tsarnaev had posted videos to YouTube indicating his interest in radical Muslim ideologies.
The family appears to be originally from the southern Russian republic of Chechnya, and two law enforcement officials said there is a “Chechen connection” to the bombings. Chechnya has been racked by years of war between local separatists and Russian forces and extensive organized crime since the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991.

The extent of the possible connection remained unclear, and some reports indicated that the family had also lived in Kyrgyzstan, in Central Asia.

According to a database search, Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a boxer who worked out at a martial arts facility in the Cambridge area.

On a YouTube channel, Tamerlan created a video file called “Terrorists,” where he posted footage that has since been removed from view. He also shared other videos of lectures from a radical Islamic cleric. In one video, Arab voices can be heard singing as bombs explode from high-rise buildings.

Breaking News: Suspect 31 shot and killed, manhunt underway for suspect #2.

Suspect #2

A gunfire has erupted and explosives have been thrown, a police officer has been killed, a suspect is dead, There is chaos in Watertown, Mass ...
BREAKING NEWS: One of two suspects in the shooting of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer has died and a massive manhunt is underway for another, who is believed to be tied to the Boston Marathon bombing.

Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said early Friday on Twitter that one of the two suspects in that officer's shooting was killed. He said the at-large suspect, labeled by the FBI as "suspect two" in the marathon bombing, was "armed and dangerous."

"We believe this to be a terrorist," Davis said in a press conference. "We believe this to be a man who's come here to kill people. We need to get him in custody."
The Middlesex district attorney said the two men are suspected of killing the MIT police officer on campus late Thursday, then stealing a car at gunpoint and later releasing its driver unharmed. Hours earlier, police had released photos of the marathon bombing suspects and asked for the public's help finding them.

The suspects threw explosives from the car as police followed it into Watertown,...

Al-Qaeda is running out of suicide bombers

Al-Qaeda is running an employment advertisement for suicide bombers...

The Times of Israel:
Apparently low on bombers, al-Qaeda is running a (short-term) employment advertisement on its Shumukh al-Islam Internet forum. Under the heading “Area of activity: The planet Earth,” the ad seeks jihadists to carry out suicide attacks.

Applicants must be Muslim, mentally mature, dedicated, able to listen, and utterly committed to completing their mission, the Hebrew daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Tuesday.

Several email addresses are provided for applicants. While their real names are not required, candidates are asked to send details of their nickname or handle, their age, marital status, languages spoken and a list of passports in their possession.

The ad on the forum, which is accessible only to al-Qaeda members, specifies the targets of the terror attacks that applicants will be expected to carry out, including “People who fight Islam and Muslims” and enemy “financial, military and media targets.”

The ad indicates that the anticipated attacks will be solo operations: “Only one person will be in charge. He will gather all of the intelligence, he will prepare the operation — and he will complete the attack.” However, it continues, “a military panel” will oversee the bomber’s training and select the target.

The job description promises only a “very slight chance of being caught.”

Prepare 360 goats in Hell...

“The accidental explosion occurred in Shaqra [in Abyan province] and killed five extremist fighters,” the official said.
Yemeni forces launched an all-out offensive on May 12 aimed at reclaiming the provincial cap-ital Zinjibar and other towns and cities lost to al-Qaida over the past year.
Al-Qaida sometimes uses car bombs against the army and its militia supporters.

Three Occupy Cleveland movement members arrested in alleged plot to bomb the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad bridge

Five people were arrested. Three are tied to the Occupy Cleveland movement. One of the three served as Occupy Cleveland movement spokesman. Democrats must be very proud. The own the Occupy movement.

Via Media Trackers:
Five individuals — at least three of them involved in the far-left Occupy Cleveland movement — were arrested on April 30 in Cleveland in connection with an alleged plot to bomb the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad bridge. The FBI described the arrested individuals as “anarchists.”
Brandon Baxter, one of the alleged plotters known to his associates as “Skabby,” served as a spokesman for Occupy Cleveland, telling the Cleveland Plain Dealer in early March that he felt “the powers that be, whoever they might be — on all levels of government and those who hold corporate power — are not listening, because not enough people are actually taking a stance.”
Posts on Occupy Cleveland’s Facebook page indicate that Baxter was involved in helping the organization organize and advertise events as recently as February 2012. Baxter and two of the other alleged co-conspirators — Joshua Stafford and Anthony Hayne — list Occupy Cleveland as their “Employer” on Facebook, where the three list one another as friends.

Maureen Dowd Calls Republicans Suicide Bombers

Bombers, Maureen Dowd, suicide, tea party
Of course, Maureen Dowd has rarely had an original idea. By calling Republicans suicide bombers, she is parroting Newsweek's Tina Brown and MSNBC's Chris Matthews.

(NYT)-

. . .The maniacal Tea Party freshmen are trying to burn  down the House they were elected to serve in. It turns out they wanted  to come inside to get a blueprint of the historic building to sabotage  it.
Like gargoyles on the Capitol, the adamantine nihilists are  determined to blow up the country’s prestige, their party and even their  own re-election chances if that’s what it takes. (Many are worried  about primary races with even more dogmatic challengers, which is a  truly scary thought.) If they can drag President Obama off his pedestal,  even better. They think he looks down on them and sneers at their  values.
Democratic lawmakers worry that the Tea Party freshmen  have already “neutered” the president, as one told me. They fret that  Obama is an inept negotiator. They worry that he should have been out in  the country selling a concrete plan, rather than once more kowtowing to  Republicans and, as with the stimulus plan, health care and Libya,  leading from behind.
When Obama came before the cameras Friday to  say that “any solution to avoid default must be bipartisan,” many  Democrats wish he had just gone all unilateral and taken Bill Clinton’s  advice to invoke the 14th Amendment. They yearned to see the president beat the political suicide bombers over the head with the Constitution.  Impeaching a constitutional lawyer for saving the economy would be an  even more difficult sell than impeaching a rogue for fibbing about a  dalliance. "Tingles" Compares Republicans to Suicide Bombers (video)

We do not expect Chris Matthews to find anything good to say about Republicans, but comparing them to suicide bombers is outrageous.
MATTHEWS: Being a suicide bomber is the new political role model. Just kill everything, destroy everything. Blow it up. Nothing gets done. You`re dead, but who cares?

Napolitano Says 'Nothing to See Here' as Dozens of Suicide Bombers Train in Yemen

Americans shouldn't worry. Janet Napolitano said Sunday that she does not think the attempted bombing of a Detroit-bound plane on Friday was part of a larger plot. In spite of Secretary Napolitano's naive optimism, British police fear that 25 British-born Muslims are plotting to bomb Western airliners.

Fatah takes out Hamas bomb factory. What?

That is the story from Google news via AFP news service. The question is whether this is a very promising development on the part of Fatah or part of their ongoing power struggle against Hamas. Of course, the bomb factory was located in a Mosque.
Hamas 'bomb factory' found in West Bank mosque

RAMALLAH (AFP) — Palestinian security officials said on Sunday that they had found a Hamas bomb-making factory underneath a mosque in the occupied West Bank.

"Security forces found a bomb-making factory inside a mosque in Qalqiliya," an interior ministry statement said. "Many of the bombs were ready to use and many of them were of industrial grade."

A senior security official told AFP that Fatah-led Palestinian security forces had detained "many" people for questioning after the discovery, saying: "This factory belongs to Hamas." (excerpt) read more at google.com/hostednews/afp

Hugo Chavez wants to host Russian strategic bombers

The voters of this country have elected an inexperienced young President. Many wondered if this would cause our adversaries to become adventuresome and challenge us. That is exactly what happened in the Cuban Missile crisis during John F. Kennedy's tenure in the White House. We barely avoided global thermonuclear war during that crisis. Next time, we may not be so lucky. Now that President Obama is in the White House, the Russians are looking for a place close by to keep some of their strategic bombers in case a political decision is made to advance deploy strategic forces. Hugo Chavez has offered an island. Also, Cuba is being considered. Is anyone having a feeling of "déjà vu"?
Official: Cuba, Venezuela May Host Russian Strategic Bombers

Saturday, March 14, 2009

MOSCOW — A Russian Air Force chief said Saturday that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has offered an island as a temporary base for strategic Russian bombers, the Interfax news agency reported.

The chief of staff of Russia's long range aviation, Maj. Gen. Anatoly Zhikharev, also said Cuba could be used to base the aircraft, Interfax reported.

The Kremlin, however, said the situation was hypothetical.

"The military is speaking about technical possibilities, that's all," Alexei Pavlov, a Kremlin official, told the Associated Press. "If there will be a development of the situation, then we can comment," he said.

Zhikharev said Chavez had offered "a whole island with an airdrome, which we can use as a temporary base for strategic bombers," the agency reported. "If there is a corresponding political decision, then the use of the island ... by the Russian Air Force is possible." (excerpt) read more at foxnews.com
