Fail: NOW puts Little Sisters of the Poor on the "Dirty 100" list for opposing HHS Contraception Mandate.

Stray lightning bolt hits NOW headquarters in 3...2...1...

Via Townhall:
The National Organization of Women (NOW) has compiled a list of what they're calling the "Dirty 100" — organizations who have filed suit against the HHS Contraception Mandate. One of the "Dirty 100" organizations that NOW claims is simply "using religion" to discriminate against women, is, in fact, a group of Catholic religious sisters called the Little Sisters of the Poor.

NOW President Fails to get the memo and defends Hilary Rosen's Ann Romney comment

Is NOW's President stupid or out of touch? Most people are smart enough to know you don't attack mothers. Yesterday, President and Michelle Obama were in full retreat.

Via Newsbusters:
TERRY O’NEILL: What would we be saying if Hillary Clinton [sic] had said this: that Ann Romney has never, has not worked for pay outside the home a day in her life? That’s my understanding that’s an accurate statement, and that raises the exact issue that Hilary Rosen was trying to get to, which is do Mr. & Mrs. Romney have the kind of life experience and if not, the imagination, to really understand what most American families are going through right now? I think that that was what Hilary was getting out, and so she left out the words “for pay outside the home.”

NOW to Conservatives: "We are on to you right-wingers"

Governing NOW: Grassroots Activism In The National Organization For Women

The National Organization for Women finally broke their silence on Bill Maher calling Sarah Palin a "twat". They used the opportunity to accuse Conservative of some vast right-wing conspiracy to waste their time and make them look hypocritical. Make them look hypocritical? That's laughable.
(Daily Caller) – In the wake of Bill Maher’s tasteless slur against Sarah Palin Friday night, in which he called the former Alaska governor a “twat,” the National Organization for Woman (NOW) has not only denounced the use of such sexist words, but also issued a warning to conservatives who they believe are attempting to use the issue to discredit their organization: “We are on to you, right-wingers.”

National Organization for Women refuses comment on Bill Maher misogynist Palin remark

The National Organization of Women is all about protecting women and their rights as long as the women are liberal pro-abortion Republican haters. As fo Sarah Palin, she is on her own.

FOX News reported:
Bill Maher uttered a female vulgarism when referring to former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin on his HBO show Friday night.
“Did you hear this – Sarah Palin finally heard what happened in Japan and she’s demanding that we invade ‘Tsunami,’” Maher said. “I mean she said, ‘These ‘Tsunamians’ will not get away with this.’ Oh speaking of dumb tw**s, did you…”
Maher was offering an imagined Palin response in an apparent attempt at humor, as Palin had made no such statement.
The National Organization for Women (NOW) refused to comment on Maher’s use of the derogatory term. A rep told FOXNews.com it is a “known fact” that NOW does not correspond with FOX News.

NOW Position on Meg Whitman Being Called a Whore: Fire someone...It's a teachable moment...She really is a whore

The National Organization for Women (NOW) endorsed Jerry Brown for Governor of California one day after Jerry Brown approved of a campaign aid's depiction of Meg Whitman as a "whore" in remarks that were thought to be off the record. After receiving criticism for their hypocrisy, NOW on Wednesday called on Democratic gubernatorial nominee Jerry Brown to fire the aide responsible for the remark. Now's position was quickly walked back after there were claims the aide who used the "W" word was actually Jerry Brown's wife. Suddenly, the whole episode changes from a "firing offense" to a "teachable moment."
The National Organization for Women on Wednesday called on Democratic gubernatorial nominee Jerry Brown to fire the supposed aide who suggested the campaign call Republican Meg Whitman a "whore."

Hours later, however, they backed away from that position, calling the incident "a teachable moment."

After the rapidly changing NOW position on Wednesday, California NOW President Parry Bellasalma agreed in an interview with using the "W" word to characterize Whitman as a "Political whore."
...California NOW President Parry Bellasalma, who today told TPM in response to a question that "Meg Whitman could be described as 'a political whore.' Yes, that's an accurate statement."

Could NOW do anything else to look more hypocritical and partisan?

Is Calling Some Woman a "Whore" a New Requirement for a NOW Endorsement?

The National Organization for Women (NOW) endorsed Jerry Brown one day after he was caught on tape condoning calling Meg Whitman a "whore." Now, NOW has endorsed untreated mental patient Florida Democrat Rep. Alan Grayson. One year ago, Grayson called a female Obama official a "whore." He refused to apologize.

At a quarterly meeting, Florida-based members of the National Organization for Women said Grayson, a Democrat, was a champion for the group’s causes. They also said his Republican opponent, Daniel Webster, would significantly delay or turn back women’s advancement if elected.

“He’s 100 percent on women’s issues,” Donna Slutiak, president of the Florida chapter of the group, said of Grayson. “He’s never let us down yet.”

NOW Endorses Jerry Brown After Meg Whitman "Whore" Reference

The National Organization for Women had a choice between a strong female candidate, who is pro-choice, and a male candidate who approved calling that woman a "whore." You already know who the hypocrites at NOW chose to endorse in the California Governor's race. NOW has been officially outed as an organ of the Democratic Party.

The LA Times reported:
Jerry Brown announced he has received the endorsement of the National Organization for Women, less than 24 hours after the emergence of a recorded message in which Brown can be heard in a conversation with advisors in which someone calls Whitman a “whore.” Coincidence? You be the judge.
