Shameful race-baiting by the Obama administration...
Via The Daily caller:
A division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) was deployed to
Sanford, Florida in 2012 to provide assistance for anti-George Zimmerman
protests, including a rally headlined by activist Al Sharpton,
according to newly released documents.
The Community Relations Service (CRS), a unit of DOJ, reported
expenses related to its deployment in Sanford to help manage protests
between March and April 2012, according to documents obtained by the watchdog group Judicial Watch.
CRS spent $674.14 between March 25-27 related to having been
“deployed to Sanford, FL, to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies
related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a
neighborhood watch captain.” CRS spent another $1,142.84 for the same
purpose between March 25-28.
Egypt’s powerful armed forces issued a virtual ultimatum
to Islamist President Mohamed Mursi on Monday, calling on the nation’s
feuding politicians to agree on an inclusive roadmap for the country’s
future within 48 hours.
A dramatic military statement broadcast on state television declared
the nation was in danger after millions of Egyptians took to the streets
on Sunday to demand that Mursi quit and the headquarters of the ruling
Muslim Brotherhood were ransacked.
“If the demands of the people are not realised within the defined
period, it will be incumbent upon (the armed forces)… to announce a road
map for the future,” said the statement by chief-of-staff General Abdel
Fattah al-Sisi. It was followed by patriotic music.
The people had expressed their will with unprecedented clarity in the
mass demonstrations and wasting more time would only increase the
danger of division and violence, he said.
The army said it would oversee the implementation of the roadmap it
sought “with the participation of all factions and national parties,
including young people”, but it would not get directly involved in
politics or government.
I am all for freedom of speech and the right to peacefully protest. However, protesting a private funeral is just wrong. As if it could get any worse, the Westboro Baptist Church is protesting the funerals of military personnel who gave their lives protecting American's freedom. You can see the vile and hateful signs they carry in the above picture. I was raised in a Baptist church. I am not sure what religion the members of Westboro Baptist Church are practicing, but it isn't Baptist. Being cruel to grieving families shouldn't be condoned by any Christian or the Supreme Court. The Miami Herald reported:
The court did not clearly tip its hand during the hour-long oral argument in the case pitting Westboro Baptist Church against a grieving Pennsylvania father. Several justices did, however, hint that the 2006 funeral protest was lawful even if obnoxious.
“Didn’t they stand where the police told them to?” Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg noted at one point, adding that the protest “was with the knowledge and permission of the police.” But to underscore the case’s difficulty, Ginsburg herself later questioned whether the First Amendment should “tolerate” what she termed “exploiting a private person’s grief” for the purpose of getting attention.
There is a plan to protest the state run media for ignoring the growing movement against Obama administration policies. Over 110 protests are currently planned at several ABC, NBC and CBS affiliates across the country. Several newspapers, including the Washington Post, are to be targeted. The group organizing this is called 'Operation: Can You Hear Us Now?' Their website was started a short time ago and ,reportedly, has received over a million visits in the last three weeks.
Obviously, the "main stream" media are hard of hearing and seeing. About 2 million mad-as-hell taxpayers assembling in Washington, D.C. for the largest-ever (most well-behaved ever, most respectful ever) protest did not make it onto their radar screens (or our TV screens).
They need our help. Maybe we cannot repeat an assembly of 2 million mad-as-hell taxpaying patriots in one place, but surely those who longed to go and couldn’t would love to be a part of Operation "Can You Hear Us Now?" I’ll bet for every one patriot who went to D.C. there are 10-20 more who wished they could have been there as well.
Well my friends, HAVE I GOT A PLAN FOR YOU…
It’s called, "Operation: Can You Hear Us Now?" Here’s how it might work, but feel free to improvise!
Step 1: Contact all your freedom-loving, American-loving, free-speech loving friends and get together to plan. Draw from your local Tea Party group or 9/12 group or other friends. Protest all things you did in D.C. – plus the complicit media!
Step 2: Identify local left-wing media outlets (most likely TV, since no one reads newspapers anymore).
Step 3: Plan a rally for October 17th, 2009. If you have enough folks, visit multiple sites concurrently, otherwise pick your least favorite, liberally biased outlet as ground zero. Time it for max participation for the working (i.e. tax-paying) class. Before the AM news or at the evening 6 o’clock hour might be good (local time).
Step 4: Use your 1st Amendment Right to Free Speech right outside their offices or broadcast locations. Make sure you are on public property, not private property. Bring your signs, banners, flags, and voices to the event. Protest big government, small minds in Congress, and liberal media atrocities in reporting (or non-reporting). (Watch for the Free Speech media to attempt to have you forcibly removed by law enforcement – so stay on public property!)
Step 5: Be peaceful, respectful, but let them HEAR you and SEE you. Remember, they are hard of hearing and their eyesight isn’t what it used to be the last 8 years prior. They accidentally missed 2 million people protesting in D.C. in one of the biggest protests in US History. Bring your video to upload clips to the internet later.
Step 6: Complete your event with a cup o’ tea before leaving the premises. Go home.
Step 7: Turn on the TV and see if they saw you. If not, smile and remember that November 2010 is just around the corner!
The citizens of Bermuda are protesting the transfer of four Chinese Uighurs from Guantanamo Bay to Bermuda. They are calling on Premier Ewart Brown. The decision to bring four Guantanamo detainees to Bermuda was made without consulting with the Governor or the UK Government.
Hundreds of people gathered in front of the Cabinet building this afternoon to call for the Premier to step down following his decision to bring four Guantanamo detainees to Bermuda without consulting with the Governor or the UK Government.
The huge crowd first heard speeches by rally organisers outside Sessions House demanding Dr. Ewart Brown’s resignation, before marching en masse to the Cabinet lawn.
Hundreds of angry protesters met Nancy Pelosi in Houston, Texas. They are angry about her lying about the CIA, high government spending, government takeovers and other topics. HOUSTON CHRONICLE reported:
In front of the Wortham Center, activists offered their own greetings to those attending the speech.
“Turn back while you still have the chance! Don’t support the liar!” Doug Audirsch, of Porter, shouted while hoisting a sign over his head that called for “Less 1984 — More 1776.”
Most of those making their way through the gantlet seemed to take the jeers and catcalls in stride. Some of the attendees blew kisses, while at least two made obscene gestures to the activists.
“I think they were probably prepared for this,” said Paul Kelver of Spring with a laugh. “She’s so far away from mainstream American that it’s unbelievable.”
Police estimated the crowd at 600. Houston Police Department officials at the scene said there were no reported incidents or arrests.

Former U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo, tried to give a speech about immigration at the University of North Carolina. A group of protesting students shouted profanities at Tancredo Tuesday, broke a window and accused him of racism for opposing the granting of in-state tuition benefits to illegal immigrants. reportedly, some teachers were encouraging these violent intolerant students. According to upi.com, here is what Tancredo said about the protesters.
"Fascists are fascists," Tancredo told the newspaper. "Their actions were probably the best speech I could every give. They are what's wrong with America today. When all you can do is yell epithets, that means you are intellectually bankrupt."
Not all Europeans love Barack Obama. He was greeted by massive protests in Turkey. The protesters carried signs saying, 'Obama go home! We will not be U. S. soldiers!' The Main Stream Media has ignored these protests.
