Video: MSM Takes Notice Of Climategate (In Russia Anyway)

There has been very little reporting of the Climategate leaked email scandal by the state controlled MSM in America. Most of what little reporting they have done is superficial. If only ABC, NBC and CBS had the journalistic integrity of the Russian media.

MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan: ‘Who Cares’ What the Religion of the Muslim Shooter Is? (via Newsbusters)

The state run media are doing their best to downplay the religion of the Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan. Some even have the gall to ask, "Who cares?"

Morning Meeting host Dylan Ratigan on Friday appeared uncomfortable discussing the faith of the Muslim shooter who killed 12 people in Texas. In a tease for a segment on the subject, he noted that Major Nidal Hasan is being "described as a devout Muslim, mortified at being deployed to Iraq. Did that drive him to allegedly commit murder?" Ratigan quickly added, " And who cares what his religion was?"

Reportedly, Major Nidal Hasan shouted, "Allah Akbar!" before opening fire.

State Run Media Tries to Ignore Republican Victories

The State run media is in full damage control mode after big Republican victories in the gubernatorial races for Virginia and New Jersey. Take a look at the Los Angeles Times website last night. The focus was on regional Democratic victories.


Over at CBS, Bob Schieffer denies the vote was a referendum on Obama and compares Republicans to McGovern.

Shortly before the polls closed, CBS's chief Washington correspondent, Bob Schieffer, rejected any effort to tie President Barack Obama to two the Democratic gubernatorial candidates for whom Obama campaigned, insisting on Tuesday's CBS Evening News that the contests were more about local issues and so “I don't think they had much to do with anything but New Jersey and Virginia.”

Citing the special congressional race in New York, Schieffer rued “this third-party conservative who literally pushed a moderate Republican out of the race,” and proceeded to analogize Republicans this year to leftist activists who in 1972 pushed Democrats to pick an un-electable presidential candidate:

The Republican Party is really split and it is the conservatives who seem to have the juice right now. It's very much like what Democrats went through in 1972. The party activists on the left were so upset with mainstream candidates that in an effort to purify their party they pushed it so far to the left that they nominated the very liberal George McGovern for President. Now it's conservative Republicans who are upset with their mainstream candidates. They want to push the party to the right.

State Run Media Gets Duped. Fox News Refuses to Bite.

An email was sent to media outlets claiming the the Chamber of Commerce was throwing its support behind climate change legislation. It was a fake. Several major news organizations ran with the story. These included Reuters, CNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post. Fox News didn't fall for the ruse. Who is making up the news now?

In a dramatic shift, the Chamber of Commerce announced Monday that it is throwing its support behind climate change legislation making its way through the U.S. Senate.

Only it didn’t.

An email press release announcing the change is a hoax, say Chamber officials.

Several media organizations fell for it.

A CNBC anchor interrupted herself mid-sentence Monday morning...

White House Admitted They Control Media

In this January video, the White House communications directer admitted they control the media.

What does this mean? Wizbang Blog brings it home:

You may be thinking, "Wow, that was an incredibly controlled handling of the media during the campaign. Why couldn't the Republicans have put together something like that?" Of course the answer is very simple -- that kind of media control doesn't happen without the willful consent and participation of the news media itself. And only Democrats will ever garner that kind of sympathetic treatment from the mainstream media.

This probably explains the Obama Administration's ongoing war with Fox News. Right now I'm betting that Fox News was the only major television or newspaper news outlet that refused to let Team Obama pierce its nose with a gold ring and lead it around on a rope.

The White House has been bashing Fox News for days. Now, the state run media is joining the fun. Newsweek is calling Fox News "un-American."

State Run Media Notices the Deficit

On October 7, the Congressional Budget Office reported that Obama's deficit had ballooned to a $1.4 trillion for his first year. Katie Couric and CBS News failed to report this information. Now that the White House admits the deficit, they are willing to report it like any self respecting state run media should.

Government figures out today show for the last fiscal year, which just ended, the United States spent a record 1.4 trillion dollars more than it took in. New Group 'Operation: Can You Hear Us Now?' targets state run media

There is a plan to protest the state run media for ignoring the growing movement against Obama administration policies. Over 110 protests are currently planned at several ABC, NBC and CBS affiliates across the country. Several newspapers, including the Washington Post, are to be targeted. The group organizing this is called 'Operation: Can You Hear Us Now?' Their website was started a short time ago and ,reportedly, has received over a million visits in the last three weeks.

Obviously, the "main stream" media are hard of hearing and seeing. About 2 million mad-as-hell taxpayers assembling in Washington, D.C. for the largest-ever (most well-behaved ever, most respectful ever) protest did not make it onto their radar screens (or our TV screens).

They need our help. Maybe we cannot repeat an assembly of 2 million mad-as-hell taxpaying patriots in one place, but surely those who longed to go and couldn’t would love to be a part of Operation "Can You Hear Us Now?" I’ll bet for every one patriot who went to D.C. there are 10-20 more who wished they could have been there as well.

Well my friends, HAVE I GOT A PLAN FOR YOU…

It’s called, "Operation: Can You Hear Us Now?" Here’s how it might work, but feel free to improvise!

Step 1: Contact all your freedom-loving, American-loving, free-speech loving friends and get together to plan. Draw from your local Tea Party group or 9/12 group or other friends. Protest all things you did in D.C. – plus the complicit media!

Step 2: Identify local left-wing media outlets (most likely TV, since no one reads newspapers anymore).

Step 3: Plan a rally for October 17th, 2009. If you have enough folks, visit multiple sites concurrently, otherwise pick your least favorite, liberally biased outlet as ground zero. Time it for max participation for the working (i.e. tax-paying) class. Before the AM news or at the evening 6 o’clock hour might be good (local time).

Step 4: Use your 1st Amendment Right to Free Speech right outside their offices or broadcast locations. Make sure you are on public property, not private property. Bring your signs, banners, flags, and voices to the event. Protest big government, small minds in Congress, and liberal media atrocities in reporting (or non-reporting). (Watch for the Free Speech media to attempt to have you forcibly removed by law enforcement – so stay on public property!)

Step 5: Be peaceful, respectful, but let them HEAR you and SEE you. Remember, they are hard of hearing and their eyesight isn’t what it used to be the last 8 years prior. They accidentally missed 2 million people protesting in D.C. in one of the biggest protests in US History. Bring your video to upload clips to the internet later.

Step 6: Complete your event with a cup o’ tea before leaving the premises. Go home.

Step 7: Turn on the TV and see if they saw you. If not, smile and remember that November 2010 is just around the corner!

MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan: Conservatives Don't Care If ‘Half the Country Dies’ (video)

The state run media's shilling for Obama knows no bounds. MSNBC's Morning Meeting host Dylan Ratigan said Monday,

"Sure. I mean, there are people that are actually trying to derail health care in order to take down Obama, even if it means half the country dies. So, of course, they don't care about Chicago’s Olympics. Are you kidding me?"

State Run Media Ignores ACORN Corruption Story

Glenn Beck analyzes the mainstream media's initial coverage of the ACORN corruption story where ACORN employees advise a woman, claiming to be a prostitute, on how to scam the government while running a brothel with underage illegal immigrants. ABC, CBS, MSNBC and NBC completely ignored the story. See screen shot.

Radical Communist Green Czar Resigns

Admitted communist, radical revolutionary and a 9-11 "Truther," Anthony Van Jones, resigned early Sunday morning. Perhaps the state run media will report this story now.

Breitbart reported:

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama's adviser Van Jones has resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday.

Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs" with the White House Council on Environmental Quality was linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the 2001 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

The resignation comes as Obama is working to regain his footing in the contentious health care debate.

State Run Media Ignores Green Czar Van Jones Controversy

President Obama's Green Jobs Czar, Anthony Van Jones, is an admitted communist, radical revolutionary and a 9-11 "Truther." Van Jones has call Republicans by a name that isn't repeated in polite society. Republicans are calling for his resignation. However, Americans who get their news from ABC, NBC, CBS, The New York Time and the Washington Post are clueless about this rapidly brewing controversy. That's because this story hasn't been reported in the state run media.
