It begins. Lamestream media begins effort to limit Trump media exposure...

Chris Wallace and Fox News led the way...
Donald Trump will no longer be allowed to phone in to NBC’s Meet The Press. If Trump wants free media coverage on the Sunday show, he will now be forced to appear on camera in person.
Jim Ruttenberg of The New York Times reported, “On Friday, Chuck Todd, the moderator of “Meet the Press,” told me he had only grudgingly allowed Mr. Trump to call in to his show earlier in the campaign, determining that he would rather have Mr. Trump take questions via phone than not at all. Now, Mr. Todd said, he will no longer allow Mr. Trump to do prescheduled interviews by phone on the NBC program.”
Todd was following the lead of Chris Wallace and Fox News Sunday, which was the first Sunday show to ban the Trump phone in interview.

Shills: CBS, ABC and NBC blamed shutdown on Republican Party 21 times; Democrats 0 times...

The lamestream media is hard at work...

Via Washington Secrets:
The nation’s big three news networks are falling right into place for President Obama and the Democrats, blaming the Republican Party for the government shut down by a whopping 21-0 story count.
According to a survey by the conservative media watchdog, the Media Research Center, in 39 stories during the two weeks leading up to the shutdown, CBS, ABC and NBC blamed the failure to cut a budget deal on the Republicans 21 times, both parties four times, and Democrats zero times. In 14 stories, nobody was to blame.

CNN Headline Calls Republicans Wingnuts

Now you know why they are part of the lamestream media.

The headline has since been changed to "Goofy debt ceiling demands." That's so much more balanced.

Obama Loses His Cool With Texas Reporter

Clearly, President Obama isn't used to reporters asking tough questions. The lamestream media has given him a free pass for three years.

WaPo Columnist: Obamacare will pay for Abortions

Ah, yes. The bill taking over our health care has cleared Congress and been signed into law by President Obama. Now, the lame stream media can finally admit the truth. Obamacare will cover abortion.

From WaPo:

Still cloudy is whether the new law of the land allows funding for abortions and whether President Obama's executive order is of any real (judicially enforceable) value. The answer to the latter is in little dispute. It is no. An executive order cannot override a statute.

As to the funding issue, well, it's intentionally complicated. And suffice to say, it shouldn't be.

Defenders argue that: (1) nowhere does the bill say funds will go toward abortion; (2) the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits federal funding for abortion, applies.

Lame Stream Media Alert: Joe Klein Didn't Watch the Obamacare Summit, but He is Sure Obama Won

Unless Joe Klein is psychic, he is being disingenuous. How can he read between the lines of the health care summit when he didn't even watch it? Many other pundits and commentators disagree with his analysis. They think the Republicans did very well.

From Swampland:
Reading between the lines, you can conclude that the Republicans had nothing very interesting, or clever, to say (and were never able to get the President's goat). And that the President was his usual, unflappable, well-informed self. You can also conclude that not much progress was made at the summit, as Karen reports here--but that's a huge surprise, right?

NBC's David Gregory Bashes Republicans As 'The Party of No'

President Obama and democrats have pursued a strategy of formulating legislation without any Republican input. Then, they brand republicans as 'The Party of No' when they won't support the very liberal legislation. The main lame stream media is helping democrats brand Republicans as the 'The Party of No.'

NewsBusters reported:
NBC's David Gregory on Sunday used his interview with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to bash Republicans.

After his largely friendly discussion with senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett, the "Meet the Press" host abruptly changed his tone and manner with the very first question to McConnell, "Is there one Republican who will support any Democratic healthcare initiative?"

GQ Magazine Names Obama Leader of the Year, Inside- Palin is Labeled Dangerous and Poisonous

The bias of the lame stream media is on display in the latest copy of GQ magazine. Barack Obama is named "Leader of the Year" in spite of his failing poll numbers, lack of a plan for Afghanistan and record deficits. Inside the cover, there is an article attacking Sarah Palin as dangerous and poisonous. Here is a sample.
Sarah Palin is like the mole in that addictively frustrating, ultimately futile carnival game whack-a-mole. Just when we think we've driven her back into her hole, out pops the side-swept updo and rimless Kazuo Kawasaki eyeglasses from another burrow. Katie Couric plays her the fool; she discovers Twitter. The hard right champions her as the frontrunner for 2012; she leaves office. Lawsuits threaten to sack her; she comes up with death panels.
