Stupid Tweet of the Day: Politico reporter claims rights are man-made

Here is a hint for Meredith Shiner. If rights are man-made, then it is OK for man to take them away from you. If that doesn't bring it home for you, read the Declaration of Independence.

AG Eric Holder signed off on warrant that identified FNS reporter as a “possible co-conspirator”

Obama claims he is troubled by this incident. Is he lying or will he throw his buddy Eric Holder under the bus?
Attorney General Eric Holder signed off on a controversial search warrant that identified Fox News reporter James Rosen as a “possible co-conspirator” in violations of the Espionage Act and authorized seizure of his private emails, a law enforcement official told NBC News on Thursday.

The disclosure of the attorney general’s role came as President Barack Obama, in a major speech on his counterterrorism policy, said Holder had agreed to review Justice Department guidelines governing investigations that involve journalists.

"I am troubled by the possibility that leak investigations may chill the investigative journalism that holds government accountable," Obama said. "Journalists should not be at legal risk for doing their jobs."

Obama Loses His Cool With Texas Reporter

Clearly, President Obama isn't used to reporters asking tough questions. The lamestream media has given him a free pass for three years.

White House Has Reuters Reporter Fired?

Earlier this week, Reuters published a story under the headline Backdoor taxes to hit middle class. The link is now dead. Reuters replaced it with this:
The story Backdoor taxes to hit middle class has been withdrawn. A replacement story will run later in the week.

No replacement story has emerged. Instead, the reporter is no longer with Reuters.
Now comes word from former Editor & Publisher editor Greg Mitchell that Cullen is now no longer working at Reuters, though the circumstances of her departure remain unclear.

What brought about this retraction and loss of employment? Only Reuters and the former reporter, Terri Cullen, know the full truth, but the retraction took place after the White House complained.
Obama administration aides appealed to the Reuters White House reporting team to kill a story by another reporter of the news service that suggested the president's new budget blueprint included "backdoor" tax hikes.

The story claimed President Obama planned to let some of the Bush tax cuts expire and this was a backdoor tax increase on the middle class. Project World Awareness has a copy of the retracted story here.

'Inconvenient' Polar Bear Report Suppressed at Meeting of Polar Bear Specialist Group

The lengths the anthropogenic global warming 'cult' will go to in order to suppress the truth knows no bounds. They are now suppressing a polar bear because it does not support their global warming scam.

From NewsBusters:
As the U.S. Senate now prepares to consider the cap-and-trade climate bill recently passed by the House, they will want to consider all the facts related to this landmark spending program. So far we have learned that the Environmental Protection Agency has suppressed an internal report skeptical about the wild global warming claims and now, from across the pond, we find out that a polar bear expert has been forbidden by global warming alarmists from reporting that most of those animals have actually been increasing in population during the past few years or are at optimum levels.

Although you won't find this story anywhere in the American media, Christopher Booker of the UK Telegraph has delivered an excellent report on this inconvenient truth suppression:

Over the coming days a curiously revealing event will be taking place in Copenhagen. Top of the agenda at a meeting of the Polar Bear Specialist Group (set up under the International Union for the Conservation of Nature/Species Survival Commission) will be the need to produce a suitably scary report on how polar bears are being threatened with extinction by man-made global warming.

This is one of a steady drizzle of events planned to stoke up alarm in the run-up to the UN's major conference on climate change in Copenhagen next December. But one of the world's leading experts on polar bears has been told to stay away from this week's meeting, specifically because his views on global warming do not accord with those of the rest of the group.

EPA Shuts Up Their Own Climate Expert

What do you do when your climate expert contradict global warming theory right bebore a big Cap and Trad vote in Congress? If you are the Obama administration, you suppress his report and forbid him for speaking to anyone.

WND reported:
Environmental Protection Agency officials have silenced one of their own senior researchers after the 38-year employee issued an internal critique of the EPA's climate change position.

Alan Carlin, senior operations research analyst at the EPA's National Center for Environmental Economics, or NCEE, submitted his research on the agency's greenhouse gases endangerment findings and offered a fundamental critique on the EPA's approach to combating CO2 emissions. But officials refused to share his conclusion in an open internal discussion, claiming his research would have "a very negative impact on our office."

His study was barred from circulation within the EPA and was never disclosed to the public for political reasons, according to the Competitive Enterprise Institute, or CEI, a group that has accessed four internal e-mails on the subject.

CEI General Counsel Sam Kazman told WND, "His boss basically told him, 'No, I'm not going to send your study further up. It's going to stay within this bureau.'"

A March 12 e-mail to Carlin warned him not to have "any direct communication with anyone outside NCEE on endangerment."

Anti Gay Marriage Reporter Dragged Kicking and Screaming From Air Force One Press Area

A small town newspaper reporter for the Georgia Informer was forciblely removed from the press area near Air Force One. She was trying to deliver a letter in support of traditional marriage. The Secret Service refused to deliver the letter for her and told her to give it to a White House staffer. According to Brenda Lee, she declined and wanted to wait and try to hand the letter to President Obama as he walked by. She said the Secret Service became annoyed and removed her from the press area. She said they told her she could return if she promised not to yell at Obama, but other officers arrived and told her to leave. If this is true, her free speech rights were violated. According to NBC Los Angeles:
A reporter for a small newspaper was forcibly removed from a press area near Air Force One shortly before President Barack Obama arrived at Los Angeles International Airport to depart California early Thursday.

Airport security officers carried the woman away by the feet and arms as she protested her removal.

She later identified herself as Brenda Lee, a writer for the Georgia Informer in Macon and said she has White House press credentials. The newspaper's Web site says it is a monthly publication, and a Brenda Lee column is posted on it.

Calls to the newspaper and the White House press office were not immediately returned.

Lee said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press that she wanted to hand Obama a letter urging him "to take a stand for traditional marriage."

She said she asked a Secret Service agent to give the president her letter, but he refused and referred her to a White House staffer. Lee said she refused to give the staffer the letter.

"I said, 'I'll take my chances if (the president) comes by here,'" said Lee, who identified herself as a Roman Catholic priestess who lives in Anaheim, Calif. "He became annoyed that I wouldn't give him the letter."

Lee, who was wearing what she described as a cassock, said she protested when she was asked to leave.

"I said, 'Why are you bothering me?' They escorted me outside the gate," she said.

She said security officers allowed her to return when she promised she would not yell or wave, but then other officers arrived and told her to leave.

"I said, 'I'm not leaving,'" she said. "They tried to drag me out."

Two officers then picked her up and carried her out. An Associated Press photographer photographed the incident.
