Democrat Flint Mayor directs charitable donations to her political PAC?

This story hasn't been confirmed, but Democrats and corruption go together...

(CNN)The former city administrator of Flint, Michigan, filed a federal lawsuit against the current mayor’s office, claiming she was fired after raising concerns about donors being directed away from a charity for victims of the city’s water crisis and toward a fund sharing a name with the mayor’s campaign fund.
In the suit filed Monday, fired administrator Natasha Henderson claims that in February 2016, Flint’s current mayor, Karen Weaver, directed a former city employee and a city volunteer to stop directing potential donors to a charity called Safe Water/Safe Homes. That charity was run by the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and had been approved by the city for water-crisis donations.
Instead, the lawsuit claims city employee Maxine Murray was directed by Weaver to begin directing donations to “Karenabout Flint.” According to the lawsuit, Murray came to Henderson “in tears” and in fear of “going to jail.”
CNN cannot independently verify the authenticity of “Karenabout Flint,” and it does not appear in any state tax registries. “Karen About Flint” was Weaver’s campaign slogan when she ran for mayor in 2015, and her Twitter handle is @karenaboutflint.

Democrats Exempted Many UAW Members From Paying Health Insurance Premium Taxes

Everyone knows about the special deal democrats gave Ben Nelson to buy his vote for Obamacare. The rest of America is required to pay the additional Medicare costs for Nebraska forever and the largest health insurance company in Nebraska, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, is exempt from the new health insurance premium taxes levied on gold-plated health insurance plans. What many people overlooked is Michigan Blue Cross/Blue Shield was also exempted from the new health insurance premium taxes. When there was never any doubt how Michigan's Senators would vote, why was Michigan Blue Cross/Blue Shield exempted? The answer is the UAW. The UAW has one of the most expensive health care plans in America. The UAW health care plan even pays for Lasik eyesight-improvement surgery. Guess what insurance company covers most current and retired UAW members in Michigan. If you guessed Michigan Blue Cross/Blue Shield, you would be correct. Actually, the UAW has organized Blue Cross/Blue Shield workers in Michigan. Corrupt democrats exempted much of their UAW membership base from paying the tax on their gold-plated health insurance plan.

Corrupt Democrat William “Cold-Cash” Jefferson Gets 13 Years

Democrat William “Cold-Cash” Jefferson was convicted in August of 11 of 16 corruption charges. He was sentenced Friday to 13 years in prison.

Justice is served. The race hustlers will bray and moan, but disgraced Democrat Rep. William “Cold Cash” Jefferson had it coming. Thirteen years in prison for what the judge in the case called “the most extensive and pervasive pattern of corruption in the history of Congress:”

Former Rep. William Jefferson was sentenced today to 13 years in prison for his conviction on 11 counts of public corruption in a case in which he famously hid $90,000 in his freezer.

U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III delivered the sentence at a packed courtroom in the federal courthouse in Alexandria, Va. Prosecutors had asked for 27 to 33 years in prison, while Jefferson’s lawyers said the prison term should be less than 10 years.

…Ellis has not yet ruled on whether Jefferson can remain free while he pursues his appeal, which will likely take months.

Ellis did say that Jefferson must forfeit $470,653.47 to the government that the jury determined was obtained illegally in the schemes alleged.

…Ellis said he found Jefferson’s conduct “a cancer on the body politic.”

The evidence against Jefferson was overwhelming. In addition to the $90,000 in cash found in his freezer, the FBI had this surveillance tape.

This in not a vote of confidence for Commerce Secretary nominee Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H. This appears to be a "cave in" to the democratic Hispanic base. They have had concerns about his nomination. Everyone knows the census data can be manipulated for partisan political reasons. A Republican working for a Democrat would be the perfect nonpartisan person to oversee the 2010 census. Instead, the White House wants to put Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel in charge. When you consider the shoddy way Republicans were treated over the stimulus bill and this partisan power grab, bipartisan cooperation in Washington is about to hit a new low.

In a move with major political implications for voting, districting and representation in future elections, the Obama administration has demanded oversight of the 2010 U.S. census.

The move has Republicans crying foul, alleging that transferring the power of census-taking from the Commerce Department, which normally oversees the U.S. Census Bureau, to the White House is an attempt to manipulate redistricting of congressional seats.

IRS Penalties and Interest Eliminated for All U.S. Taxpayers under new “Rangel Rule” Legislation

(WASHINGTON, DC) – All U.S. taxpayers would enjoy the same immunity from IRS penalties and interest as House Ways and Means Chairman Charles Rangel (D-NY) and Obama Administration Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, if a bill introduced today by Congressman John Carter (R-TX) becomes law.

Carter, a former longtime Texas judge, today introduced the Rangel Rule Act of 2009, HR 735, which would prohibit the Internal Revenue Service from charging penalties and interest on back taxes against U.S. citizens. Under the proposed law, any taxpayer who wrote “Rangel Rule” on their return when paying back taxes would be immune from penalties and interest.

“We must show the American people that Congress is following the same law, and the same legal process as we expect them to follow,” says Carter. “That has not been done in the ongoing case against Chairman Rangel, nor in the instance of our new Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. If we don’t hold our highest elected officials to the same standards as regular working folks, we owe it to our constituents to change those standards so everyone is abiding by the same law. Americans believe in blind justice, which shows no favoritism to the wealthy or powerful.”

Lawsuit filed claiming Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is constitutionally ineligible to serve

There were serious questions about the constitutional eligibility of Hillary Clinton to serve as secretary of State. The issue arises from the Secretary of States salary having been raised during Hillary Clinton's term in the Senate. The Constitution forbids members of the Senate from being appointed to civil office, such as the Secretary of State, if the "emoluments," or salary and benefits, of the office were increased during the Senator's term. This clearly occurred. Congress tried to do an end run around the Constitution by lowering the Secretary of States salary. This does not change the historical fact that the salary of the Secretary of State was raised three times during Hillary Clinton's tenure as a Senator from New York. This case will eventually end up at the Supreme Court.

Helen Jones-Kelley has resigned as director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Gov. Ted Strickland’s office announced today, Dec. 17.

State Inspector General Tom Charles found that Jones-Kelley, of Clayton, improperly authorized state database searches for personal information on Samuel Joseph “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacher during the presidential campaign.

Strickland suspended Jones-Kelley for a month without pay on Nov. 20 in the wake of Charles’ report.

Strickland had first put Jones-Kelley, a former director of the Montgomery County Job and Family Services department, on paid administrative leave Nov. 7 because of reports that she used her state e-mail account for political fund raising. Charles’ report also confirmed that she used the account to raise money for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Rod Blagojevich, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald has renewed interest in convicted fundraiser Tony Rezko's part in the purchase of Barack Obama's Chicago mansion, according to a former real estate analyst who says he was interviewed by the federal prosecutor in the past 10 days.

Kenneth J. Conner told WND he was interviewed by investigators from Fitzgerald's office regarding the purchase of the Obama mansion and the adjacent vacant lot that Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased simultaneously. As WND reported last week, Connor filed a civil complaint in October with the Illinois Circuit Court in Cook County alleging he was fired by Mutual Bank of Harvey, Ill., because he objected to land appraisals submitted on behalf of the Rezkos and the Obamas, with the complicity of the bank...

Inauguration day is not here and two of Obama's Chicago buddies are already in jail for corruption. How can we forget his friend Tony Rezko. Now, the Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, has been arrested and is accused of trying to sell Obama's Senate seat appointment. Illinois and Chicago are certainly in the running for having the dirtiest politicians in the world. Of course, the MSM refused to report this detail during the election. Obama said he has had no contact with Gov. Blagojevich since his election. That contradicts an interview by David Axelrod on Nov. 23. The question now is will Blagojevich sing?

Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, were arrested today by FBI agents for what U.S. Atty. Patrick Fitzgerald called a "staggering" level of corruption involving pay-to-play politics in Illinois' top office.

Blagojevich is accused of a wide-ranging criminal conspiracy, including alleged attempts by the governor to try to sell or trade the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by President-elect Barack Obama in exchange for financial benefits for the governor and his wife. Blagojevich also is accused of obtaining campaign contributions in exchange for other official actions.

Inspector general: Joe The Plumber’s records improperly plundered

TOLEDO, Ohio – An agency director improperly used state computers to find personal information on "Joe the Plumber," a government watchdog said in a report released Thursday.

There was no legitimate business purpose for the head of Ohio's Department of Job and Family Services to order staff to look up the records, Inspector General Tom Charles said.
Gov. Ted Strickland suspended the agency director, Helen Jones-Kelley, for a month without pay after reviewing the findings. He rejected a request to fire her.

Earlier this month, Strickland placed Jones-Kelley on paid leave over separate allegations that a state computer or e-mail account was used to assist in political fundraising for Democrat Barack Obama's campaign.

The inspector general's report concluded that she improperly used state e-mail to engage in political activity.
