Why isn't the media interested in Hillary Clinton's lie about facing sniper fire in Bosna?

The media yawned when Hillary lied about facing sniper fire in Bosnia and they were never interested in Barack Obama's relationship with Frank Marshall Davis or Bill Ayers, but they are investigating the heck out of Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Donald Trump and the rest of the GOP 2016 field. If they had only went after Barack Obama's hidden college records with as much zeal, America might be a much different place now. Of course, that is the very reason they didn't.

Obama administration threw in 400,000 dental plans to make number of Obamacare plan over 7 million...

Is everything about Obamacare a lie?

Via Bloomberg News:
The Obama administration included as many as 400,000 dental plans in a number it reported for enrollments under the Affordable Care Act, an unpublicized detail that helped surpass a goal for 7 million sign-ups.
Without the dental plans, the federal government would have had 6.97 million people with medical insurance under the law known as Obamacare, investigators for the House Oversight and Government Reform committee calculated, using data they obtained from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Federal officials said in September they had 7.3 million people enrolled in coverage through new government-run insurance exchanges. They didn’t distinguish between medical and dental plans, breaking from previous practice without notice.
Blending dental and medical plans let the administration assert that enrollment remained greater than 7 million, the original projection of the Congressional Budget Office. The move also partly obscured the attrition of more than 1 million in the number of people enrolled in medical insurance.

Obvious: Poll finds liberals lie about their religious beliefs like they do everything else...

Liberals love to lie...
A study released Saturday found that Americans tend to exaggerate their religious beliefs—and that liberals are more guilty of it than conservatives.

The Public Religion Research Institute asked participants about their religious affiliation, their belief in God, how often they attend religious services and the importance of religion in their lives. Roughly half were interviewed over the phone and the other half answered an online questionnaire. Of the people interviewed over the phone, 43 percent said they attended religious ceremonies and 27 percent said religion is the most important thing in their lives. Among online respondents, those numbers dropped to 30 percent and 20 percent, respectively.

Why the difference in results? Talking to another human, even an anonymous one, can cause respondents to exaggerate the truth. “It is a rather unconscious cognitive bias,” says John R. Shook, a professor in the Science and the Public EdM online program at the University of Buffalo. “Even if you talk to a live human voice, someone you will never see, someone in Zaire, the brain rationalizes and tries to present itself in the most positive light possible. You can’t help it.”

But it seems that when it comes to worship attendance, liberals are more inclined to do so. PRRI found that over the phone, only 27 percent of self-identified liberals admitted that religion is not important to them; the number jumped to 40 percent of liberals who responded to an online questionnaire. Conservatives were much more consistent: Only 4 percent of telephone respondents and 6 percent of online respondents said the same.

State Department caught lying about John Kerry being on his yacht during Egypt crisis...

Spokeswoman Jen Psaki claimed Kerry was in Washington at 4:00 AM Wednesday morning.

From Politico:
A CBS News producer tweeted a photo of Kerry’s yacht, Isabel, on Wednesday afternoon and said a colleague saw Kerry boarding it at the Nantucket Boat Basin. She shouted “Morsi,” but got no response from the secretary of state.
But the State Department said Kerry was not aboard a boat on Wednesday and has spent the day working the phones on Egypt. “Since his plane touched down in Washington at 4 a.m., Secretary Kerry was working all day and on the phone dealing with the crisis in Egypt,” spokeswoman Jen Psaki said. “He participated in the White House meeting with the president by secure phone and was and is in non-stop contact with foreign leaders, and his senior team in Washington and Cairo. Any report or tweet that he was on a boat is completely inaccurate.”
They now admit that was a lie.

Of course, after Benghazi, nobody believes anything the State Department says anyway.

BTW, Kerry is back at the helm of his yacht.

Chutzpah: Axelrod claims there has been "no inconsistency" in Obama administration’s storyline on the Libyan attack

If you tell a lie often and with confidence, it becomes the new truth...

Via Red Alert Politics:
Senior adviser to Obama for America and former White House official David Axelrod blew off criticisms from Republicans Sunday that the Obama administration’s storyline on the Libyan attack had been inconsistent, calling it “nonsense.”
“Well, I think it’s nonsense,” Axelrod told “Meet the Press” host David Gregory.
“Obviously, this was a tragic event, and the President did call it an act of terror – not just once, but several times – and asked for and ordered an investigation to get to the bottom of what happened, why it happened, and to bring those who committed this act of terror to justice.”
When reminded by Gregory that the Obama administration had not, in fact, had a consistent response on the events leading up to the attack, Axelrod claimed that, “We have reported, the administration has reported everything that we’ve been told, and we’ve shared it in real time.
“The fact is, it’s a complicated situation, ” he said. “There’s been no inconsistency. There’s merely been reports on the data and the intelligence that we’ve been given.”

Obama Lies to Crowd After Being Heckled By Aids Activists

President Obama is forced to alter his speech after being heckled again by Aids activists. He makes the claim Republicans will cut Aids funding. The Aids Healthcare Foundation calls Obama out for that lie.
"The assertion that the Republicans would do worse on AIDS than the current Democratic leadership is simply incorrect," said Weinstein. "After all, it is Republican Senators Coburn and Burr who have introduced bills to solve the nation's ADAP crisis and increase treatment slots for global AIDS patients--- bills which have stalled largely due to lack of Democratic support." AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is the largest global AIDS organization. AHF currently provides medical care and/or services to more than 137,000 individuals in 23 countries worldwide in the US, Africa, Latin America/Caribbean, the Asia Pacific Region and Eastern Europe. www.aidshealth.org

Then, he claims he has increased Aids funding, but is was a measly 2.5% and that was after President Obama's first budget proposed a $6.6 billion cut in Aids funding.
Last year, with the help of then-Senators Biden and Obama, Congress reauthorized the US global AIDS, TB, and malaria programs (commonly called PEPFAR) at $48 billion over 5 years. A modest estimate to extend that level of funding over six years to match the new initiative would be $57.6 billion. The President’s current proposal only calls for $51 billion for the same programs – a $6.6 billion cut. This means there will be dramatic reductions to funding for AIDS, TB, malaria, and still very little left over for vital expenditures like maternal and child health and health system strengthening.

The Obama administration took further steps to reign in Aids spending this year.
US officials have asked some AIDS clinics overseas to stop enrolling new patients in a US-sponsored program that provides lifesaving antiretroviral drugs, in a bid to stem the rising costs of one of the most ambitious US assistance programs, according to interviews with doctors and official correspondence.

The DNC Tells Another Whopper

The DNC has put out an ad, embedded below, claiming Karl Rove, Ed Gillespie and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are "stealing our Democracy" and taking secret foreign money. The liberal NY Times has found this claim to be bogus.
A closer examination shows that there is little evidence that what the chamber does in collecting overseas dues is improper or even unusual, according to both liberal and conservative election-law lawyers and campaign finance documents.

Here is the shameful DNC ad.

Obama's Big Stimulus Lie: The Stimulus Will Create 90% Private Jobs and Only 10% Public

At the 2:05 mark of this video President-elect Barack Obama promises 90% of Stimulus jobs would be created in the private sector and only 10% would be in the public sector. He claimed the public sector would be mostly jobs saved.

President Obama made the same claim February 8, 2009 in an address to the nation. The comment is at the 3:44 mark of the video.

Several prominent Republicans have called BS on this claim.

Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-MN): These are mostly government jobs, you know…The idea that government grows the economy when all they really do is extract money from taxpayers, bring it into the bureaucracy and put it back out into the economy on a political agenda is not growth.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY): The stimulus bill has done “little or nothing” to stimulate the private sector. “It probably did save a lot of state government jobs.

Gov. Haley Barbour (R-MS): State government has benefited by the stimulus package, because it’s poured in billions of dollars. The problem is we need private sector jobs.

Rep. John Boehner (R-OH): Most of the so-called jobs that have been saved or created are government jobs, even though the President promised that 90 percent of these jobs would be private sector jobs.

Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA): We’ve got to begin focusing not just on jobs, but on private sector jobs

This chart from Produced by Mercatus Center at George Mason from Bureau of Labor Statistics exposes President Obama's 90% private sector and 10% public sector promise as a lie.

As you can see from the chart, the private sector has lost over 2.6 million jobs since the Recovery Act was passed. During that time, public sector employment has grown by 400,000.

Health Care Reform Penalty Isn't Tax Until Obama Needs That Argument in Court

When is a health care penalty not a tax? It isn't a tax when President Obama is trying to sell the bill to the American people. When is it a tax? It's a tax when you need that argument to win a court case against health care reform.

The NYT reported:
When Congress required most Americans to obtain health insurance or pay a penalty, Democrats denied that they were creating a new tax. But in court, the Obama administration and its allies now defend the requirement as an exercise of the government’s “power to lay and collect taxes.”

And that power, they say, is even more sweeping than the federal power to regulate interstate commerce.

Administration officials say the tax argument is a linchpin of their legal case in defense of the health care overhaul and its individual mandate, now being challenged in court by more than 20 states and several private organizations.

Watch Obama lie.

The Big Lie: There is No Federal Funding of Abortion in the Health Care Bill

Democrats finally found a Republican who says he would vote for Obamacare. Of course, he works for Obama as Transportation Secretary and can't vote anyway. Hmm.. In a Chicago Tribune article, Ray LaHood also repeats the 'big lie' that there is no funding of abortion in this bill.

I also feel compelled to remind my former colleagues that contrary to what many people have been saying, the bill explicitly prevents federal dollars from being used to fund abortion. It ensures not only that those seeking abortion coverage will be required to pay for it with their own money, but also that their personal money will never be commingled with federal funds. As a former congressman with a 100 percent pro-life voting record, I'm comfortable supporting this bill.

This statement appears to be a blatant lie. Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama and other Democrats have been trying to repeat this lie often enough that the public will believe it. Watch this video and see the explicit text in the bill that calls for funding abortion.

One in Four Union Members to be Hit With Health Insurance Tax

The Senate version of health care reform contains a tax on high end health insurance plans. A union survey indicates one in four union members will pay this tax.
Labor leaders say the tax would hit not only wealthy executives with expensive health benefits, but also many rank-and-file union members who have often settled for lower wage increases in exchange for more generous health benefits.

The tax would affect individual insurance policies with annual premiums above $8,500 and family policies above $23,000, which by one union survey would affect one in four union members.

Unions urged their members to vote for Barack Obama. One key point they hammered on was John McCain's proposal to tax health insurance benefits. McCain was proposing a tax credit to offset this tax for most people. President Obama campaigned again this proposal. He called it a middle-class tax increase. Here is the hard hitting video ad Obama ran against McCain's proposal to tax health insurance benefits.

President Obama has endorsed the Senate democrats' version of health insurance reform with the tax on the middle-class' benefits.
President Barack Obama signaled to House Democratic leaders Wednesday that they'll have to drop their opposition to taxing high-end health insurance plans to pay for health coverage for millions of uninsured Americans.

It is ironic that Barack Obama's broken pledge to not raise taxes on the middle-class is going to affect his Union supporters the most. Let's see the video of that promise one more time.

Hey union members! How is that hopey-changey thing working out for you now?

CBO: 10 Million Could Lose Employer Coverage Under Senate Health Bill

President Obama promised you could keep your current coverage, if you liked it, under his health care reform. The CBO disagrees.
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that up to 10 million people could lose their employer-based insurance coverage under the Senate's health care reform bill....

But the estimate assumes many employers, particularly small businesses with low-wage workers, would opt to pay the fine and drop their insurance plans. The CBO estimated this would affect between 9 million and 10 million workers.

There is still a 'reality check' video (posted below), on the White House website, of Barack Obama and Linda Douglass of the White House Office of Health Reform debunking the myth that reform will force you out of your current insurance plan or force you to change doctors. There are two clips in this video of President Obama promising that won't happen. The CBO appears to think President Obama will be lying if he signs the Senate version of health care reform.

ACORN Caught In Another Lie By Big Government

ACORN claimed they fired Juan Carlos Vera of their National City office for "unacceptable conduct" after he was caught on videotape giving advice to a pimp and prostitute who wanted to start an underage brothel to funnel money into a political campaign. One of the 20,000 documents retrieved from a 'dumpster dive" outside this office is Juan Carlos Vera's termination memo. Big Government has released the document. ACORN actually "laid off" Mr. Vera due to “restructuring” related to “videotaping incident." If this scandal had blown over, it wouldn't be hard to imagine Mr. Vera getting his old job back.

From Big Government:
The documents were thrown out in advance of state investigators arriving at the local ACORN office to conduct an investigation resulting from national media attention. ACORN employee Juan Carlos Vera was videotaped giving advice to two individuals posing as a pimp and a prostitute regarding underage prostitution and human smuggling. Without admitting any wrongdoing ACORN terminated Mr. Vera, or so they said. Documents provided to BigGovernment.com show that Mr. Vera was not terminated but was simply laid off, implying that Mr. Vera is also eligible for rehire. (The document also notes that Mr. Vera was laid off due to “restructuring” related to “videotaping incident.)

AP Fact Checks Obama's Health Care Speech and Finds Problems

The Associated Press has fact checked many of the statements in President Obama's health care speech to a joint session of Congress. They found what they politely characterized as "a variety of oversimplifications and omissions." I prefer the way Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C) put it when he let his emotions get the best of him during the speech. "You Lie," Mr. President.

From AP via Yahoo:
OBAMA: "I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits either now or in the future. Period."

THE FACTS: ...The long-term prognosis for costs of the health care legislation has not been good.

OBAMA: "Nothing in this plan will require you or your employer to change the coverage or the doctor you have....
