Guess what! Even more IRS employes involved in targeting conservatives had hard drive crashes...

I wonder how so many IRS employees involved in targeting the Tea Party and conservative groups had their hard drives fail.  They must have read this instruction.

IRS Deputy Associate Chief Counsel Thomas Kane said in transcribed congressional testimony that more IRS officials experienced computer crashes, bringing the total number of crash victims to “less than 20,” and also said that the agency does not know if the lost emails are still backed up somewhere.

The new round of computer crash victims includes David Fish, who routinely corresponded with Lois Lerner, as well as Lerner subordinate Andy Megosh, Lerner’s technical adviser Justin Lowe, and Cincinnati-based agent Kimberly Kitchens

On Monday, administration officials described a sharp increase in sign-ups during the first half of March that brought the total to 5 million people nationwide. …
“The system is down at the moment. We’re currently experiencing technical difficulties and hope to have them resolved soon. Please try again later,” read the error screen, which appeared upon clicking the “Log In” button on the site’s home screen. It also invited users to submit their email addresses to be notified when the site was back up.

Those were the exact words the pilot of the 'miracle flight' told air traffic controllers right before ditching the plane in the Hudson River. The flight attendants yelled, "Brace! Brace! Head down!" You never want to hear that from your flight attendants. Neither of them realized they were in the water. The decision to make a water landing was the best decision Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III will ever make.

The pilot of a crippled US Airways jetliner made a split-second decision to put down in the Hudson River because trying to return to the airport after birds knocked out both engines could have led to a catastrophic crash in a populated neighborhood, he told investigators Saturday.

Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III said that in the few minutes he had to decide where to set down the powerless plane Thursday afternoon, he felt it was "too low, too slow" and near too many buildings to go anywhere else, according to the National Transportation Safety Board report of his testimony.
