Tweet of the Day: Dem candidates keep talking about how things have gotten worse over past seven years.

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley: "presidency is not a crown to be passed back and forth by you between two royal families.”

Via The Hill
Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley strongly rejected Saturday the idea that another Bush or Clinton should ever enter the White House.
“Recently, the CEO of Goldman Sachs let his employees know that he’d be just fine with either Bush or Clinton,” O’Malley said while announcing his 2016 presidential campaign at Baltimore’s Federal Hill Park.
“I bet he would,” he said. “Well, I’ve got news for the bullies of Wall Street. The presidency is not a crown to be passed back and forth by you between two royal families.”

Police have shot and killed more than two people per day in 2015...

Police shoot and kill at twice the rate reported by the FBI...
In an alley in Denver, police gunned down a 17-year-old girl joyriding in a stolen car. In the backwoods of North Carolina, police opened fire on a gun-wielding moonshiner. And in a high-rise apartment in Birmingham, Ala., police shot an elderly man after his son asked them to make sure he was okay. Douglas Harris, 77, answered the door with a gun.
The three are among at least 385 people shot and killed by police nationwide during the first five months of this year, more than two a day, according to a Washington Post analysis. That is more than twice the rate of fatal police shootings tallied by the federal government over the past decade, a count that officials concede is incomplete.
“These shootings are grossly underreported,” said Jim Bueermann, a former police chief and president of the Washington-based Police Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving law enforcement. “We are never going to reduce the number of police shootings if we don’t begin to accurately track this information.”
Of course many of them are justifiable shootings where the deceased had a gun and even shot at the officers.

Senior Iranian negotiator: Military site inspections are "out of the question"

No change...
Tehran (AFP) - Senior Iranian negotiator Abbas Araghchi said Saturday that questioning Iranian scientists and military site inspections are "out of the question" in a final nuclear agreement with world powers.

Has the collapse of the tepid Obama recovery began?

Well, to be honest, it wasn't much of a recovery anyway...

Via NY Times:
The United States economy got off to an even weaker start this year than first thought, the government reported Friday, as economic activity contracted because of a more dismal trade performance and continued caution by businesses and consumers alike.
The 0.7 percent annual rate of decline in economic output in the first quarter of 2015 was a reversal of the initial 0.2 percent advance for the period reported last month by the Commerce Department.
Although statistical quirks and one-time factors like wintry weather in some parts of the country played a role, as did a work slowdown at West Coast ports, the lackluster report for January, February and March underscores the American economy’s continuing inability to generate much momentum.

Democracy death gurgle: 53% of democrats think illegals should be allowed to vote....

How can a democracy survive if the voters aren't even citizens? How did democrats get this stupid?
Fifty-three percent (53%) of Democrats think tax-paying illegal immigrants should have the right to vote. Twenty-one percent (21%) of Republicans and 30% of voters not affiliated with either major political party agree.
Women are more supportive than men of letting tax-paying illegal immigrants vote, but the two are in general agreement that the size of voting districts should be determined by counting only the number of eligible voters.
Voters under 40 are twice as likely as their elders are to favor allowing illegal immigrants to vote, but they, too, draw the line at counting illegal immigrants when setting up legislative districts.

Image of the Day: Proof IPCC Climate Models Are Wrong...

The chart doesn't lie...

Syrian Christian fighter beheads ISIS fighter in revenge killing...

An eye for an eye...this kind of treatment is the only thing the 8th century adherents of Islam understand.
A Syrian Christian fighter has beheaded an Islamic State group (IS) militant to avenge people "executed" by the jihadists in northeastern Syria, a monitor said on Friday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the incident took place on Thursday in Hasakeh province, where IS holds large areas of the countryside.
According to the monitor, the Christian fighter, a member of the minority Assyrian community, found the jihadist in the local village of Tal Shamiram.
"He took him prisoner and when he found out he was a member of IS, the Assyrian fighter beheaded him in revenge for abuses committed by the group in the region," Observatory chief Rami Abdel Rahman said.

Man who killed bicycling Lexington lawyer was an illegal immigrant with 4 previous DUI arrests in 5 years...

So, after multiple DUI's, this illegal immigrant was released on bond and never deported. He allegedly continued his drinking and driving and has now ended the life of an American. The blood is on Obama's hands.
Odilon Paz-Salvador, 29, who is from Mexico, allegedly struck Mark Hinkel, 57, on Saturday during the Horsey Hundred cycling event in Scott County. Paz-Salvador drove three miles after Hinkel landed in the bed of Paz-Salvador's truck before Georgetown police stopped him, police said.
Among the charges against Paz-Salvador is aggravated driving under the influence, making this his fourth aggravated DUI charge in five years.
There is no record of a Kentucky driver's license for Odilon Paz-Salvador, said Ann Stansel, records custodian for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.[snip]
Paz-Salvador pleaded guilty, making it his second conviction on an aggravated DUI charge, according to the documents.
Paz-Salvador was then turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and placed into removal proceedings,(Note: This was about 2 years ago) Immigrations spokeswoman Gail Montenegro said Wednesday. But Paz-Salvador was released eight days later after posting bond, Montenegro said...
Note in italics is mine.

It has been estimated that illegal alien drunk drivers kill 13 people a day on average.
This is three times what we lost on average in even the worst year of the Iraq and Afghanistan war. You would think ending this would be a priority for Obama, but he has made a political choice to accept the American deaths from illegal immigrants to pander to Hispanic voters.

Interesting: Tec Cruz is on level 217 of “Candy Crush”

I don't know if this proves Ted Cruz is clever or has too much idle time on his hands...
Long before Ted Cruz became a senator from Texas, he was a gamer. He’s known for being pugilistic on the Senate floor, but sometimes he’d rather be fighting cartoon zombies on his iPhone.
It’s an uncommon lens through which to view Cruz, a controversial conservative figure who is now running for the highest political office in the country. Cruz’s video game habit fits into a largely hidden geek persona that lurks just behind his better-known public reputation as an obstinate Tea Party firebrand.
At the moment, Cruz is playing “Plants vs. Zombies,” a game where users collect sunlight points to feed plants who fight off waves of zombies; “Candy Crush,” the puzzle game where he claims he’s in the 217th level; and “The Creeps!,” a tower defense game.
His video game addiction is so severe, Cruz says, he has to proactively deny himself the ability to spend time on it.

“I mean, drones and domestic spying are the last things I would have thought [he’d support],” Fairey added in the interview, posted Thursday.

Guess which major newspaper passed on the Gruber bombshell video about the “stupidity of the American voter”

It was the New York Slimes!

Via Washington Examiner:
The New York Times had first shot in 2014 at the video of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber mocking the “stupidity of the American voter,” but took a pass.
Though the Times eventually followed up on reports of the MIT economist’s now-infamous remarks on the passage of the Affordable Care Act, it did so only after they had generated a national scandal.
Times’ reporter Robert Pear was the “first real journalist” that tipster Rich Weinstein contacted with the newly unearthed footage, he told the Washington Examiner.
Weinstein met Pear at a conference in Washington, D.C., when he was trying to find a reporter who he could tip off to a separate Obamacare issue involving contracts between the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and CGI Federal, the company that was brought on to build
“Nobody would listen to me,” Weinstein said, explaining that his earlier attempts to connect with media had been mostly unsuccessful. “So I was trying to contact journalists directly because I had this stuff.”

Report: Golden State Warriors turnaround coach Mark Jackson was fired for refusing to embrace homosexuality...

From 1992 to 2012, the Golden State Warriors were consistently one of the worst teams in basketball. The team was so unimaginably miserable, management so criminally negligible– that owner Joe Lacob was mercilessly booed for 15 straight minutes at a ceremony honoring beloved Warriors great Chris Mullin…
Enter Mark Jackson. After a rocky start in 2011, Jackson turned a perennial loser into one of the top teams in the NBA. In 2014, the Warriors finished with 51 wins– the most wins by the team in two decades.  ...

Unions push for $15 minimum wage in L.A., then ask for exemption for themselves...

When restaurants asked for an exemption, the unions strongly opposed it.

Via LA Times:
Labor leaders, who were among the strongest supporters of the citywide minimum wage increase approved last week by the Los Angeles City Council, are advocating last-minute changes to the law that could create an exemption for companies with unionized workforces.
The push to include an exception to the mandated wage increase for companies that let their employees collectively bargain was the latest unexpected detour as the city nears approval of its landmark legislation to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2020.
For much of the past eight months, labor activists have argued against special considerations for business owners, such as restaurateurs, who said they would have trouble complying with the mandated pay increase.
But Rusty Hicks, who heads the county Federation of Labor and helps lead the Raise the Wage coalition, said Tuesday night that companies with workers represented by unions should have leeway to negotiate a wage below that mandated by the law.
“With a collective bargaining agreement, a business owner and the employees negotiate an agreement that works for them both. The agreement allows each party to prioritize what is important to them,” Hicks said in a statement. “This provision gives the parties the option, the freedom, to negotiate that agreement. And that is a good thing.”

What is scary is the fact there are still people ignorant enough to believe this crap.

Via Truth Revolt:
A Turkish, Muslim televangelist has told his followers that masturbation will lead to a pregnant hand in the afterlife.
“Turkish preacher Mücahid Cihad Han told viewers that masturbation was forbidden in Islam.”
“One hadith states that those who have sexual intercourse with their hands will find their hands pregnant in the afterlife, complaining against them to God over its rights,” he said during his program on private television station 2000 TV, according to The Hurriyet Daily News.
“If our viewer was single, I could recommend he marry, but what can I say now?”

Amusing Video: Clinton Breaks Into Southern Accent At First Southern Campaign Event

Guess which Democrat is engaging in the predatory practice of flipping foreclosed homes...

It's that champion of the little people,  Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Via NRO:
Nearly two years after Veo Vessels died, her daughter, 70-year-old Mary Frances Hickman, decided to sell the home her mother had left to her. A sprawling brick house in Oklahoma City’s historic Highland Park neighborhood, it was built in 1924, just a year after Mary’s birth. Decades later, one of Vessels’ great-grandchildren fondly recalls the wood and tile floors, the fish pond, the butler’s quarters, and the multi-car garage where children played house.
Decades later, one of Vessels’ great-grandchildren fondly recalls the wood and tile floors, the fish pond, the butler’s quarters, and the multi-car garage where children played house.
“It was really, really nice,” says Hickman’s granddaughter, Andrea Martin. That’s part of the reason she’s so surprised her grandmother sold the home in 1993 for a mere $30,000. Despite a debilitating stroke, Martin says Hickman remained sharp, and she had always been business-savvy. As an Avon saleswoman, she had at times ranked among the top ten in the country. “So I don’t know why,” Martin says. “Maybe she just wanted out from underneath it, but to sell it for such a low number — I don’t know. Maybe she got bad advice, maybe she was just tired.”
The home’s new owner: Elizabeth Warren, today a Massachusetts senator who has built a political career on denouncing the sort of banking titans and financial sophisticates who make a buck off the little guy. Five months after purchasing Veo Vessels’ old home, Warren flipped the property, selling it for $115,000 more than she’d paid, according to Oklahoma County Property Assessor records.

Vladimir Putin' aide to West: "Tanks don't need visas"

One of Vladimir Putin's closest aides has issued a chilling warning to the West: "Tanks don't need visas".
Deputy premier Dmitry Rogozin - seen by some as a future Kremlin president - claimed the West is now scared of Moscow's military muscle.
His outspoken words come as the West remains at loggerheads with Russia over Putin's seizure of Crimea, and alleged military strongarm tactics in eastern Ukraine.
Vowing to exploit the vast mineral riches of the Arctic, Rogozin claimed that America and Euorpe "are afraid of Russia".
The West is "afraid of the fact that we have started looking around, at our enormous territory", which, he argued, reached far north of existing frontiers in the Arctic.
In overall charge of Russia's space and defence industries, he told a TV show that Russia would develop "our huge EurAsia", exploiting vast mineral wealth under the Arctic ice.

Demo 2016 candidate Bernie Sanders: Let's hike taxes to 90% for wealthy...

Where is Hillary on this proposal?

Via Daily Caller:
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders wouldn’t mind hiking taxes to an eye-popping 90 percent for wealthy Americans.
The socialist lawmaker — running against Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primary — told CNBC that he could get behind exploding tax rates back to levels not seen since the 1950s.
“[When] radical socialist Dwight D. Eisenhower was president,” Sanders said in an interview with John Harwood, “I think the highest marginal tax rate was something like 90 percent.”
“It was 90,” agreed Harwood. “When you think about 90 percent, you don’t think that’s obviously too high?”
“No,” Sanders replied. “What I think is obscene, and what frightens me is, again, when you have the top one-tenth of one percent owning almost as much wealth as the bottom 90.”
“Does anybody think that is the kind of economy this country should have?”

Household solar $9 billion upside down in Australia...

Costs are $9 billion more than benefits and will be paid by those who didn't install the cost ineffective solar panels. Sounds like Australia needs a political revolution.
The cost of installing and maintaining more than one million household solar power systems has outweighed their benefit by more than $9 billion, a new report has found.
And by the time generous federal and state government subsidies run out, households without solar will have subsidised those that have made the switch to the tune of $14 billion.
The Grattan Institute report, to be published Monday, says government incentives and rebates that have encouraged the uptake of household solar have "created a policy mess that should never be repeated".
It argues Australia could have reduced greenhouse gas emissions for much less money if governments had focused more on commercial and large-scale solar power, instead of household subsidies.

U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit gives Obama's illegal immigration amnesty a likely deathblow...

Unless SCOTUS decides to take this case as a emergency action, which Obama hasn't yet requested and SCOTUS is unlikely to grant, this case will likely drag out past Obama's term in office. SCOTUS loves to let cases ripen naturally. Of course, if a Democrat wins in 2016 and if SCOTUS rules in favor of Obama's executive action, it could be implemented. That is a lot of big ifs.
Via Washington Times:
A federal appeals court upheld an injunction against President Obama’s new deportation in a ruling Tuesday that marks the second major legal setback for an administration that had insisted its actions were legal.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled in favor of Texas, which had sued to stop the amnesty, on all key points, finding that Mr. Obama’s amnesty likely broke the law governing how big policies are to be written.
“The public interest favors maintenance of the injunction,” the judges wrote in the majority opinion.

Government Study: EPA regulations on power plants may cost economy 1.4 trillion by 2040

The coal industry will be hardest hit...

Via Daily Caller:
If you’re unsure of what impacts pending EPA regulations will have on the U.S. coal industry, look no further than a new government study showing huge declines in coal production and use as power plant fuel.
More importantly, government forecasters predict the U.S. economy could take a $1.4 trillion hit by 2040 because of the EPA’s pending power plant regulations.
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasts the EPA’s “Clean Power Plan” will more than double projected coal-fired power plant retirements in the next five years, from 40 gigawatts to 90 gigawatts, and coal production could collapse more than 30 percent in the next decade.
“All major coal-producing regions (West, Interior, and Appalachia) experience negative production impacts in 2020,” EIA predicts in its report on the impacts of the EPA’s global warming rule. EIA also warns that electricity prices will increase faster due to EPA rules.
The EPA will soon finalize rules to regulate carbon dioxide emissions from new and existing power plants. Agency rules governing existing power plants, the so-called “Clean Power Plan” (CPP) have garnered the most criticism.
CPP aims to reduce CO2 emissions from power plants 30 percent below 2005 levels by 2030. Coal state lawmakers and the industry have heavily opposed the rule, saying it will cause massive amounts of job losses and cause energy prices to rise. EIA’s new report confirms at least some of these worries.

Things aren't going well in Baltimore...

At least 27 shootings and eight deaths over Memorial Day weekend...

Via Daily Caller
Baltimore has seen 27 shootings and eight deaths so far over Memorial Day weekend, as the month of May promises to be the most violent the city has seen this century.
“It is disheartening that we are seeing such an increase in violence, especially when we think about the progress that we’ve made,” Baltimore mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake told WJZ. “We’ve come too far to have this type of setback.”
The sharp uptick in violence coincided with the April 12 arrest of Freddie Gray. Gray, 25, died in police custody a week later. The case sparked rioting and looting in the city and nationwide protests over police brutality. Six officers involved in Gray’s arrest and transport were indicted last week by a grand jury. Charges include second-degree depraved-heart murder and manslaughter.
According to Baltimore Sun reporter Justin Fenton, crime in the city has reached levels not seen since 1999.
The city did not reach the 100 murder threshold until July last year.

Guess what Obama is doing Memorial Day weekend...

It was too easy, wasn't it?

A surprise player has joined President Barack Obama’s regular weekend golf game: Vice President Joe Biden.

Two aides rounded out Obama’s foursome.
Obama usually plays with aides when he’s at the White House. His golf party often includes bigger names when he plays away from home.
Biden was spending a rare weekend in the nation’s capital.
The vice president and his wife, Jill, usually spend weekends at their Wilmington, Delaware, home.

Report: George Stephanopoulos joined Bill Clinton in visiting Lolita Island...

ABC needs to fire George Stephanopoulos.
Turns out George Stephanopoulos did more than just donate to the Clinton Foundation while working as an ‘impartial’ media person for ABC. He also joined Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein at Lolita Island in 2010. Lolita Island is also known as ‘Pedo Island’. This one documented trip by George Stephanopoulos and Bill Clinton was in December of 2010. George Stephanopoulos was at ABC at the time. This was just two years before that ridiculous GOP debate where George Stephanopoulos badgered Mitt Romney about banning contraception. Now I know why it was such an issue for George Stephanopoulos.

Obamacare Update: Premiums are going way up in many areas...

A Kaiser Family Foundation survey claims about three-fourths are happy with their Obamacare plans. I am guessing they are in the 87% that are getting help from your tax dollars to pay their premium.

Via Fox News Radio:
The Wall Street Journal is reporting today that Obamacare rates are about to shoot up, in some cases as much as 40%. The rate increases requested by insurance carriers vary state by state, but the overall picture is bad.
“In New Mexico, market leader Health Care Service Corp. is asking for an average jump of 51.6% in premiums for 2016,” the Journal reports. “The biggest insurer in Tennessee, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, has requested an average 36.3% increase. In Maryland, market leader CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield wants to raise rates 30.4% across its products. Moda Health, the largest insurer on the Oregon health exchange, seeks an average boost of around 25%.”
The Washington Examiner reported today that in Oregon the primary insurance carrier is facing costs (payouts) exceeding premiums (income) by just over 60%. “Moda Health, which serves roughly half of (Oregon’s) individual market, is aiming to raise rates by an average of 25.6 percent. As Jed Graham of Investor’s Business Daily noted, Moda’s costs for 2014 – the first year of Obamacare’s exchanges — exceeded its premiums by 61.5 percent.”

72% of Republicans disapprove of their Republican Leaders in Congress...

Well, McConnell and Boehner have been pretty disappointing, but that didn't change recently. They have been disappointing for a long time. Republican voters should take their frustration out on their congressmen who keep voting McConnell and Boehner into leadership roles.I will not be supporting Rep. Andy Barr in 2016 for this very reason. He voted to make John Boehner Speaker of the House.

Former IPCC Lead Author: Global Warming Mostly Caused By Natural Climate Variation...

So, does this mean the science isn't really settled?
Global temperature change observed over the last hundred years or so is well within the natural variability of the last 8,000 years, according to a new paper by a former Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC) lead author.
Dr. Philip Lloyd, a South Africa-based physicist and climate researcher, examined ice core-based temperature data going back 8,000 years to gain perspective on the magnitude of global temperature changes over the 20th Century.
What Lloyd found was that the standard deviation of the temperature over the last 8,000 years was about 0.98 degrees Celsius– higher than the 0.85 degrees climate scientists say the world has warmed over the last century.
“This suggests that while some portion of the temperature change observed in the 20th century was probably caused by greenhouse gases, there is a strong likelihood that the major portion was due to natural variations,” Lloyd wrote in his study.

Shameful: Hillary Clinton didn't even know Ambassador Stevens name after his death...

Asleep at the helm...

Via Daily Caller:
Emails released Friday by the State Department show that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton mixed up the names of the Americans murdered at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012.
Clinton sent an email with the subject line “Chris Smith” shortly before midnight to three top aides, Cheryl Mills, Jake Sullivan and Victoria Nuland.
“Cheryl told me the Libyans confirmed his death. Should we announce tonight or wait until morning?” Clinton wrote.
Four Americans were killed that night after a terrorist group affiliated with al Qaeda stormed the consulate. But none were named Chris Smith. Clinton likely jumbled the names of ambassador Chris Stevens and diplomat Sean Smith. Two former Navy SEALs, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, were also killed.
As the email exchange shows, none of Clinton’s aides corrected her flub.

Why is the FBI classifying some of Hillary Clinton's emails to prevent release?

If these documents are really this sensitive, shouldn't the FBI demand to take possession of Hillary's private server to be sure the emails have been completely erased?

Via Daily Caller:
During a press briefing on Friday, White House press secretary Joshua Earnest said that reporters should ask the FBI about what led the agency to retroactively classify some of Hillary Clinton’s emails.
The State Department released 296 pages of Clinton’s emails related to Libya and Benghazi on Friday. The Associated Press reported shortly after the release that some of the emails had been classified only recently. Clinton and the State Department have maintained that she did not send or receive classified documents on her private email account.
Asked about the classified documents, Earnest twice referred reporters to the FBI, which made the determination to classify some of Clinton’s records.
“The fact is that when these kinds of emails are reviewed for public release, consistent with [Freedom of Information Act] standards, it’s not uncommon for the materials included in the review to be classified based on current events,” Earnest said.

Unemployment is lower for foreign-born workers than American citizens...

There is already something wrong here and Democrats want more foreign-born workers.

Via WSJ:
The unemployment rate for foreign-born workers in the U.S. fell to 5.6% in 2014 from 6.9% in 2013, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Thursday, reflecting the overall firming up of the labor market last year.
The unemployment rate for the native-born fell to 6.3% last year from 7.5% in 2013.
Since 2009, when the national unemployment rate peaked, joblessness among foreign-born workers has fallen by 4.1 percentage points. The drop was 2.9 percentage points for the native born.
The report is compiled annually from the Current Population Survey. Foreign-born workers are those living in the U.S. who were not U.S. citizens at birth and who were born outside the country to parents who were not themselves U.S. citizens, according to the BLS.
The number of foreign-born workers kept rising. Last year, there were 25.7 million in the U.S., up from 25.3 million in 2013. They accounted for 16.5% of the labor force in 2014, up from 16.3% the year before and 15.5% in 2009, the year the recovery began.

Obama's FEC forced to retreat on regulating political speech on the Internet...

It was likely unconstitutional anyway...

Via Washington Examiner:
The Federal Election Commission, facing punishing criticism for suggesting that political activity on the Internet should be regulated, rejected talk of new rules Thursday, a victory for GOP commissioners who feared Democrats were targeting conservative sites, even the Drudge Report.
During a public meeting, Democrats on the FEC said they were responding to the public outcry in saying that no new rules are required.
Democratic Commissioner Ellen Weintraub said the FEC received 5,000 comments demanding the agency keep their hands off the Internet. In response, she proposed a resolution that directly barred Internet regulation.
“I wanted to make clear that I was listening to what people are saying out there and I think we should allay those concerns if people are concerned that we are about to do that,” she said. Her resolution said: “I further move that the Commission direct [counsel] to exclude from the rulemaking any proposal affecting political activity on the Internet.”
Republicans on the commission had raised concerns that Democrats on the commission were targeting conservative political and news websites like Drudge, and could regulate them.

Student loans are funding Jihadis who want to join ISIS...
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two of the Twin Cities men accused of trying to join ISIS are now charged with student loan fraud.
Investigators say both Hamza Ahmed, 19, and Hanad Musse, 19, used more than $1,000 from federal student loan accounts for plane tickets to Turkey and Greece. Prosecutors say they were really going to Syria to join ISIS.
On Tuesday, prosecutors combined two separate cases, meaning that seven young Minnesota friends will eventually be tried together for allegedly trying to join the terror group.
Prosecutors combined the case of Ahmed, who was arrested and charged in February, with that of six young men who were arrested in April.
Prosecutors say Ahmed’s arrest should have served as a warning to the others.

Obama Jedi Mind Trick: Bayonets were only new military item added to banned list for police

The other items on the list are not currently being supplied to police by the pentagon. Deception, thy name is Obama.
President Obama's new restrictions on transferring Defense Department equipment to local police, in reality, adds only one new piece of gear to the "banned" list: the bayonet.
Every other item on the "prohibited equipment list" released Monday was already a no-go for the Defense Department, a senior defense official told the Washington Examiner.
In 1999, the Pentagon banned the transfer of grenade launchers, which civilian law enforcement was using to fire tear gas. It banned transfer of tracked vehicles, predominantly the M113 armored personnel carrier, in 2011. The department continued prohibiting the transfer of .50 caliber or higher firearms and ammunition to local law enforcement since the intra-agency transfer program began in the early 1990s. The same went for weaponized aircraft and vessels, which were never provided.

Another item on the prohibited list, camouflage uniforms, hasn't been transferred by the Pentagon since 2008.
"The department was not providing a majority of the items on the list," said the senior defense official who asked not to be identified.
Not surprisingly, none of the mainstream media pointed this out, not even FOX News.

(Delusional) White House: Obama's Strategy Against The Islamic State Has 'Overall' Been a Success

This is after Ramadi falls. I wonder what they think failure looks like?

Hank "Guam may tip over" Johnson thinks we don't have enough taxes...

Is this Hank's plan to stop Guam from tipping over? Pile our tax dollars on one side?

Via CNS News:
Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) says when it comes to taxes, “we don’t have enough to do what the government – and do what the country needs the government to do and that’s the problem.”
The Georgia Democrat told WABE radio last week that, “If everyone is paying their fair share of taxes than we certainly should and can live within our means.”
“But our problem now is that taxes are being paid by the middle class. The rich, the wealthy and the corporations are not paying their fair share and so therefore we don’t have enough to do what the government and do what the country needs the government to do and that’s the problem.”

Report: Chelsea Clinton is as unpleasant as her mother...

The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. According to this report,  Chelsea is really unpleasant...
Chelsea Clinton is so unpleasant to colleagues, she’s causing high turnover at the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, sources say.
Several top staffers have left the foundation since Chelsea came onBoard as vice chairman in 2011.
“A lot of people left because she was there. A lot of people left because she didn’t want them there,” an insider told me. “She is very difficult.”
Onetime CEO Bruce Lindsey was pushed upstairs to the position of chairman of the board two years ago, so that Chelsea could bring in her McKinsey colleague Eric Braverman.
“He [Braverman] was her boy, but he tried to hire his own communications professional and actually tried to run the place. He didn’t understand that that wasn’t what he was supposed to be doing,” said my source. “He was pushed out.”
Matt McKenna was Chelsea’s spokesman, and then he wasn’t. Now he works for Uber. Ginny Ehrlich, the founding CEO of the Clinton Health Matters Initiative, now works for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
Chelsea has embraced all the trappings of a corporate CEO, with a personal staff almost as big as her father’s. “He has six. She has five,” said my source.
None of this would surprise her former co-workers at McKinsey and NBC News. At both the management consulting firm and the network, co-workers allegedly were told they couldn’t approach Chelsea.
A source at NBC, where Chelsea was paid $600,000 a year, said, “If someone wanted to talk to Chelsea about something, they had to go through a producer.”

Emails prove Department of State and DoD know immediately Benghazi was an al Qaeda liked attacked...

But...but... there was a YouTube video....
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained more than 100 pages of previously classified “Secret” documents from the Department of Defense (DOD)and the Department of State revealing that DOD almost immediately reported that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was committed by the al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood-linked “Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman” (BCOAR), and had been planned at least 10 days in advance. Rahman is known as the Blind Sheikh, and is serving life in prison for his involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other terrorist acts.  The new documents also provide the first official confirmation that shows the U.S. government was aware of arms shipments from Benghazi to Syria.  The documents also include an August 2012 analysis warning of the rise of ISIS and the predicted failure of the Obama policy of regime change in Syria.
The documents were released in response to a court order in accordance with a May 15, 2014, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against both the DOD and State Department seeking communications between the two agencies and congressional leaders “on matters related to the activities of any agency or department of the U.S. government at the Special Mission Compound and/or classified annex in Benghazi.”
This proves Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and a host of others are bald-faced liars.

Report: Saudi Arabia to by off-the-shelf nukes from Pakistan...

The consequences of having an idiot in charge of foreign policy...

Via NY Post:
Saudi Arabia will join the nuclear club by buying “off the shelf” atomic weapons from Pakistan, US officials told a London newspaper.
The Saudis — who financed much of Pakistan’s nuke program — are fearful of international efforts to keep its enemy Iran from acquiring a bomb, the Sunday Times of London reports. The Saudis think the deal, backed by President Obama, will actually accelerate Iran’s nuke push.
Saudi Arabia has talked for years about acquiring a bomb from the Pakistanis. “The House of Saud has now made the strategic decision to move forward,” a former US defense official said.

Stupid: Two states still have laws on the books prohibiting you from pumping your own gas...

Chris Christie's New Jersey is one, but that may be changing. The other is the liberal mecca of Oregon.

Via The Oregonian:
If a New Jersey lawmaker has his way, Oregon could become the only state in the U.S. where it's illegal to pump your own gas.
On Friday, New Jersey Assemblyman Declan O'Scanlon (R-Monmouth) announced his plan for a phased-in approach to end the Garden State's decades-old ban on self-service gasoline.
According to, the bill includes a provision to allow gasoline station employees to continue to fill customers' tanks if they so choose. Earlier this month, reported that state officials hadn't enforced the self-service ban in at least two years.
"I'm amazed at how many folks raise this issue with me. It's the right thing to do, so we'll see," O'Scanlon told
Oregon's gas-pumping law has been on the books since 1951.
I can't remember the year I last had someone pump my gas. It was decades ago.

Hypocrisy Alert: Guess which climate alarmist is heavily invested in fossil fuel companies...

It's Lurch.

Via Heartland Institute:
In a March 12 address to the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C., Secretary of State John Kerry warned that climate change outranks terrorism, epidemics and poverty as the worst threat facing the world today. Our only salvation, he asserted, lies in an energy policy that replaces fossil fuels with solar, wind and other “clean energy.”
However, at the same time he gave this crisis speech, public records indicated that Secretary Kerry personally owned an estimated three to six million dollars in stocks of more than 50 oil and gas-related companies. Records from 2004 show that he’s been constantly and deeply invested in fossil fuels for at least a decade, and is still injecting millions in working capital into the very industries he condemns. What is the public to think of a cabinet-level prophet of climate doom who says one thing and does such another? Read it all...

While you weren't looking, the JV team took control of Ramadi...

The reason you weren't looking is the mainstream media didn't point this disaster out to you.
Islamic State militants tightened their grip on Ramadi on Saturday as officials, police and residents accused the Sunni extremists of executing dozens of civilians and blowing up homes in the capital of Iraq’s largest province.
On Thursday, the insurgent group launched a brutal offensive involving car bombings and heavy shelling to seize Ramadi, which is about 80 miles west of Baghdad. The militants controlled most of the city by Friday afternoon, hoisting the group’s black flag over government buildings as pro-government forces retreated.
“They blew up the houses of the officers and [tribal] sheiks who fought them,” said Hamid Shandoukh, a Ramadi police colonel, speaking by telephone from the city’s Malaab area.
The attack is a significant setback to Iraq’s U.S.-backed government, which is waging a military campaign to retake territory that the Islamic State seized in sweeping advances last summer. The United States has assumed a prominent role in that effort, leading an international coalition that is conducting airstrikes against the extremist group in Iraq as well as in Syria.

Al Sharpton's daughter tries to shakedown NYC for $5 million over a sprained ankle...

The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree...

Via The NY Post:
She learned at the feet of a master.
Shakedown artist Al Sharpton’s eldest child wants $5 million from city taxpayers after she fell in the street and sprained her ankle, court records show.
Dominique Sharpton, 28, says she was “severely injured, bruised and wounded” when she stumbled over uneven pavement at the corner of Broome Street and Broadway downtown last year, according to a lawsuit.
Currently on vacation in Bali, the membership director for her gadfly dad’s National Action Network claims she “still suffers and will continue to suffer for some time physical pain and bodily injuries,” according to the suit filed against the city departments of Transportation and Environmental Protection.
“I sprained my ankle real bad lol,” she wrote in a post to Instagram after the Oct. 2 fall.
You would think that by the age of 28 someone could maneuver over uneven pavement.

George Stephanopoulos still hasn't come clean on all his ties to the Clinton Foundation...

If ABC News had any credibility, and that was a big if, , they have lost it by not canning George Stephanopoulos. How can you allow an anchor to launch a personal attack on a writer's character and motivation for writing a book critical of the Clinton's and their foundation without having him disclose his donations, former membership and very close ties to that organization?

Via USA Today:
…there is much that Stephanopoulos has yet to disclose to his viewers. Indeed, far from being a passive donor who strokes Clinton Foundation checks from afar, a closer look reveals that Stephanopoulos is an ardent and engaged Clinton Foundation advocate.
For example, in his on air apology for this ethical mess, Stephanopoulos did not disclose that in 2006 he was a featured attendee and panel moderator at the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).
He did not disclose that in 2007, he was a featured attendee at the CGI annual meeting, a gathering also attended by several individuals I report on in Clinton Cash, including mega Clinton Foundation donors Lucas Lundin, Frank Giustra, Frank Holmes, and Carlos Slim — individuals whose involvement with the Clintons I assumed he had invited me on his program to discuss.
Stephanopoulos did not disclose that he was a 2008 panelist at the CGI annual meeting which, once again, featured individuals I report on in the book, such as billionaire Clinton Foundation foreign donor Denis O’Brien.
ABC’s most visible news employee did not disclose that in 2009, he served as a panel moderator at CGI’s annual meeting, nor did he disclose that in 2010 and 2011, he was an official CGI member.
Stephanopoulos did not disclose that in 2013 and 2014, he and Chelsea Clinton served as CGI contest judges for awards, in part, underwritten by Laureate International Universities — a for-profit education company I report on in the book. Bill Clinton was on its payroll until his recent resignation. Read it all...

Democrats move to ban online ammo sales...

Creeping gun control...

Via Breitbart:
Democrats are pushing legislation which bans online ammunition sales that do not include a face-to-face exchange of IDs and which requires ammunition dealers to report any purchases of more than 1,000 rounds.
The legislation–titled the Stop Online Ammunition Sales Act of 2015–is sponsored by Representative Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ-12th Dist.) and co-sponsored by Representative Rep. Frank Pallone Jr (D-NJ-6th Dist.), according to The Hill.
Pallone said:
Far too many times, we have seen the shocking images of unspeakable gun violence that could have been prevented. Our bill to limit the online sale of ammunition is a long-overdue common sense reform that I am hopeful will spark Congress to put aside party difference and come together to help prevent such senseless tragedies.
Pallone and Coleman are focusing on Aurora theater gunman James Holmes’ online ammo purchases as a selling point for their legislation. In so doing, they have overlooked the fact that Holmes passed background checks for the firearms he acquired and, therefore, would not have been prevented from ammunition purchases even if forced to show ID in a face-to-face manner.

Paying the bills: Hillary and Bill have made over 25 million combined in speaking fees since January 2014

Most of the people paying those high speaking fees want something in return....

Via Fox News:
Hillary Rodham Clinton and former President Bill Clinton reported Friday they earned more than $25 million combined in speaking fees since January 2014.
Clinton’s presidential campaign reported the income in a personal financial disclosure report filed with the Federal Election Commission. The report, required of every candidate for the White House, also shows Hillary Clinton earned more than $5 million from her 2014 memoirs, “Hard Choices.”
The details of the report were described by a Clinton campaign official who spoke on condition of anonymity in order to discuss a report not yet publicly available from the FEC. The report was expected to be released publicly later Friday.

ISIS Leader al-Baghdadi: “Islam is the religion of war.”

Barack Obama hardest hit...

Via PJM:
ISIS’ Al-Furqan media today released new audio of an address by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, with written translations in English, Russian, Turkish, French and German.[...]
In the speech, Baghdadi calls on “every Muslim in every place to perform hijrah to the Islamic State or fight in his land, wherever that may be.”
“Do not think the war that we are waging is the Islamic State’s war alone. Rather, it is the Muslims’ war altogether. It is the war of every Muslim in every place, and the Islamic State is merely the spearhead in this war. It is but the war of the people of faith against the people of disbelief, so march forth to your war O Muslims,” he says. “March forth everywhere, for it is an obligation upon every Muslim who is accountable before Allah. And whoever stays behind or flees, Allah (the Mighty and Majestic) will be angry with him and will punish him with a painful torment.”
Baghdadi stresses that “whoever thinks that it is within his capacity to conciliate with the Jews, Christians, and other disbelievers, and for them to conciliate with him, such that he coexists with them and they coexist with him while he is upon his religion and upon tawhīd (monotheism), then he has belied the explicit statement of his Lord.”
“Islam,” he adds, “is the religion of war.”

Disgraced Journalist George Stephanopoulos won't moderate a 2016 debate

George Stephanopoulos will keep being a shill for Hillary Clinton.

Via CNN:
George Stephanopoulos, the chief anchor of ABC News, apologized on Thursday for not telling viewers or his bosses about $75,000 in recent donations to the Clinton Foundation.
The revelations shocked many in the television news industry and prompted stern reactions from a number of prominent Republicans. Within hours, Stephanopoulos came out and said he would recuse himself from ABC’s planned Republican presidential primary debate, scheduled to take place next February.
“I don’t want to be a distraction,” he told CNNMoney, “so I’m not going to moderate that debate.”
However, Stephanopoulos said, “I am going to continue to cover the 2016 campaign.”
In a phone interview — perhaps intended to stem the damage done by the revelations — Stephanopoulos called the donations a mistake and reiterated his earlier apology.

Amusing: Florida Demo congressman Alan Grayson gets asked about his offshore tax haven

It went about as well as you would expect...

Via Daily Caller:
Florida Democratic congressman Alan Grayson went on a profanity-laced tirade in an interview with a reporter who dared to ask him why he kept his cash in offshore tax havens.
Grayson was a staunch critic of then-Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney for holding money in off-shore accounts, and once demanded the IRS investigate every single Fortune 500 company to uncover their “offshore tax havens.” But in an interview with the Tampa Bay Times’ Adam Smith, he was confronted with evidence that his own corporations were incorporated in the Cayman Islands, a notorious tax haven.
Grayson was, needless to say, less than happy to be challenged on the point when contacted by Smith, calling it “some stupid, bullsh*t story… You want to write sh*t about it, and you can’t because not a single dollar of taxes has been avoided.”
“Are you f*cking kidding?” he continued. “I set up a fund that might solicit foreign investors… I have no present intention of soliciting foreign investors. Your perception issue is bullsh*t.”
“This is a whole ‘nother level of bullsh*t… Are are you some kind of shitting robot? You go around shitting on people?” he asked.
