"Drill, baby, drill," as long as it's Brazil

President Obama opposes drilling for oil in the US. However, he is willing to loan billions to Brazil for offshore drilling. Perhaps the fact Obama's friend George Soros will make money off the deal helped change his opinion.

From Townhall:
The Obama administration is financing offshore drilling off the coast of Brazil. According to the Wall Street Journal,

The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan.

Israel is reported to be preparing for attack on Iran

Reports keep surfacing that the Israeli's aren't buying the Obama administration's plan of detente and appeasement towards Iran. They are conducting drills in preparation for an attack against Iran's nuclear facilities. ZEENEWS is reporting:
Jerusalem, May 03: While the United States is talking about dialogue with Iran, the Israel military has conducted secret drills in a move being interpreted as preparations to foil Tehran's nuclear ambition at any cost, media reports said on Sunday.

The Air Force has staged secret manoeuvres between Israel and the British colony of Gibraltar near southern Spain, local media reported quoting French Newspaper 'L'express.

The drills held 3,800 kilometres away from Israel "confirms that the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) is making concrete preparations" to attack Iran if it refuses to stop its contentious nuclear programme, the report said.

The drills comes a week after Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman vowed that Israel would not attack the Islamic republic even if the international sanctions fails to convince Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to give up his country's nuclear programme.

However, Israeli leaders have been maintaining that the Iranian nuclear issue is not only the problem of the Jewish state but concerns the entire world community.

'The London Times' had also reported few weeks ago that the IDF was preparing to launch a massive aerial assault on Iran's nuclear facilities.
