Daily Kos: Angle victory means Nevada will be turned into a nuclear waste dump or something.

In a last ditch attempt to save Harry Reid, liberals are claiming a Sharron Angle victory will mean Nevada will be turned into a nuclear waste dump.

From Daily Kos:
If Nevadans elect Sharron Angle tomorrow, they shouldn't be surprised to wake up to a nuclear waste dump in the back yard, because without Harry Reid fighting for them in the Senate, that's exactly what they are going to get.

If it means getting rid of Harry Reid, Nevadans are getting the best of the deal.

CNN Poll Finds Angle Up By Two in a Nail-Biter

Harry Reid's support is down to 40%. When it gets close to the election and the incumbent can't get over 50%, they are usually toast. Let's hope this is true for Harry Reid.

CNN reported;
According to a CNN/Time/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Wednesday, 42 percent of likely voters in Nevada are backing Angle, who enjoys strong support from many in the Tea Party movement, with four in ten supporting Reid, the top Democrat in the Senate who’s bidding for a fifth term in the chamber. Seven percent of people questioned are supporting Scott Ashjian, who is running as a Tea Party candidate, but who is shunned by many in the grassroots conservative moment, and 10 percent say they are voting for none of the candidates listed…

Obama Ridicules Sharron Angle

President Obama campaigned for Harry Reid Thursday in Nevada. He resorted to painting Sharron Angle as an extremist and ridiculed her for calling the BP oil spill fund a 'slush fund.'
“She favors an approach that’s even more extreme than the Republicans we’ve got in Washington. That’s saying something.”

“I’m sure she meant slush fund in the nicest possible way,”

If having President Obama campaign for you is a political deathblow, Harry Reid is dead as the parrot in the old Monty Python sketch. He just is in denial about his political death.

AP
reported:

After coming under attack for the remark Thursday Angle took it back. Obama ridiculed that, too: “I’m sure she meant slush fund in the nicest possible way,” he said.

Said Obama: “She favors an approach that’s even more extreme than the Republicans we’ve got in Washington. That’s saying something.”

Sharron Angle holds a thin polling lead average of 2.4 points.
