Rasmussen on Baltimore Riots: 63% characterize it as mostly criminals taking advantage of the situation
There is certainly that element. There are better ways to protest than looting and burning down your neighborhood.
Via Rasmussen:
Via Rasmussen:
Americans view the recent rioting in Baltimore as criminal behavior, not legitimate protest, and think it will only worsen the criminal justice situation in the city.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 25% of American Adults consider the mob violence in Baltimore that followed the funeral of a black man who died in police custody to be primarily legitimate outrage. Sixty-three percent (63%) instead characterize it as mostly criminals taking advantage of the situation. Twelve percent (12%) are not sure...

KMOV-TV reports that the majority of stores that were damaged or completely destroyed during Monday night’s violent riots in Ferguson were minority owned.
Most of the damaged businesses were on West Florissant Avenue and included: Walgreens, Little Caesers Pizza, Autozone, Beauty Town, Title Max, Family Dollar Store, and O’Reilly Auto Parts. Small-business owner Natalie Dubose was in tears when she realized her cake store was attacked by vandals.

Obama Administration Refuses To Condemn Rioting Occupiers In Chicago During NATO Summit
Can you imagine their reaction if this had been the Tea Party?
Wendell Goler: The President has voiced support for the Occupy folks in the past, or at least their goals, did their actions in Chicago sour his support?
Jay Carney: Well I think you’re making broad comparisons between .. uh .. uh .. different groups, what the President has said in the past is .. uh .. he has understood .. uh .. the frustrations Americans have about (pause) the (pause) failure in particular of Wall Street in some cases to .. uh .. uh, (pause) well obviously Wall Street’s role in the financial crisis that precipitated the worst recession since the Great Depression.

110 members of the 'Religion of Peace' arrested in Germany after rioting over a cartoon
Where are all the rioting Christian stories?
BERLIN (AP) – Clashes erupted in Germany when police tried to separate competing rallies by an ultraconservative Muslim group and a small far-right march, injuring 29 officers, authorities said Sunday. More than 100 Salafist protesters were briefly arrested.
The trouble in the western city of Bonn started late Saturday when hundreds of Muslims protested against the rally of about 30 supporters of the local far-right party Pro NRW, which has angered Muslims by showing unfavorable cartoons depicting Islam’s Prophet Muhammad. Strict Muslims oppose any depiction of their prophet.
About 110 Salafist protesters were arrested after they started attacking security forces with stones and bottles, police said. Two of the injured police officers were hospitalized with serious wounds after being stabbed.

Greece is on fire
The Greek parliament approved the austerity measure, but citizens are very unhappy.
ATHENS (Reuters) - The Greek parliament approved a deeply unpopular austerity bill to secure a second EU/IMF bailout and avoid national bankruptcy, as buildings burned across central Athens and violence spread around the country.
Cinemas, cafes, shops and banks were set ablaze in central Athens as black-masked protesters fought riot police outside parliament.
State television reported the violence spread to the tourist islands of Corfu and Crete, the northern city of Thessaloniki and towns in central Greece. Shops were looted in the capital where police said 34 buildings were ablaze.
Prime Minister Lucas Papademos denounced the worst breakdown of order since 2008 when violence gripped Greece for weeks after police shot a 15-year-old schoolboy.

Shameful: Hillary Clinton Sympathizes With Penn State Students Who Rioted Over Paterno Firing
Hillary Clinton's pantsuit must be cutting circulation off to her brain or something.
(Daily Mail) — Hillary Clinton has risked a huge backlash after sympathising with those who rioted in support of the officials caught up in the Penn State ‘abuse’ scandal.
The Secretary of State said she could understand the ‘passion and emotion’ of the students who flooded the streets and overturned cars when they learned football head coach Joe Paterno had been fired.
She said that two members of her own family had gone to Penn State and made the team so she could appreciate their point of view.
Her poorly chosen comments are likely to enrage the families of the victims, who are still coming forward with fresh accusations.

Leftists Riot and Kill Bank Employees in Greece

Photo from Monsters and Critics:
Leftists bankrupted Greece. Now that the ride is over and it time to 'pay the piper,' they are rioting and killing bank employees. Take a close look. This is our future is Obama and Democrats continue their socialization of America.
The BBC reported:
At least three people have been killed in the Greek capital as protesters set fire to a bank during a general strike over planned austerity measures.
The bodies were found inside the Marfin Bank in Athens. The Greek prime minister said it was a “murderous act”.
The protest became violent...

Leftists and Illegal Immigrant Supporters Threaten Violence in Arizona: MSM Yawns and Looks Other Way
Leftists and Illegal immigrant supporters painted “Burn this Racist City” on an Arizona sidewalk. They have also thrown bottles at police, painted swastikas, rioted and pretended they were aiming guns at police. This story has gotten very little play in the mainstream media. As you can see from the above screen shot, taken today, of a Google search for the term "immigrant supporters riot in Arizona," this story is only being reported by conservative blogs. Just imagine if a Tea Party rally went this way.
FOX News Reported:
Here is a video of immigrant supporters rioting.

Europe is in an economic meltdown

As bad as the economy is in America, the situation is far worse in the European countries. The entire country of Iceland is bankrupt and the government has been toppled. France is facing rioting in the streets. Other European governments are watching their currency value collapse and unemployment rise to staggering levels. Compared to Europe, the USA is doing well.
Governments across Europe tremble as angry people take to the streets
Ian Traynor, Europe editor
The Guardian, Saturday 31 January 2009
France paralyzed by a wave of strike action, the boulevards of Paris resembling a debris-strewn battlefield. The Hungarian currency sinks to its lowest level ever against the euro, as the unemployment figure rises. Greek farmers block the road into Bulgaria in protest at low prices for their produce. New figures from the biggest bank in the Baltic show that the three post-Soviet states there face the biggest recessions in Europe.
It's a snapshot of a single day – yesterday – in a Europe sinking into the bleakest of times. Excerpted from guardian.co.uk
