New York Times Finally Reports Van Jones Story (on page A17)

After weeks of ignoring the controversy surrounding President Obama's Green Jobs Czar Anthiny Van Jones, the New York Times has reported the resignation and called it a "victory for Republicans." The NYT buried the article on page A17. Here is part of their article.

In a victory for Republicans and the Obama administration’s conservative critics, Van Jones resigned as the White House’s environmental jobs “czar” on Saturday.

Controversy over Mr. Jones’s past comments and affiliations has slowly escalated over several weeks, erupting on Friday with calls for his resignation.

Keith Olbermann Thinks Obama May Face 2012 Challenge For Not Being Leftist Enough

President Obama has taken America on a hard left turn since January. However, many liberals are unhappy he hasn't moved farther to the left. Last Thursday, Keith Olbermann said,

"He's compromised on everything so far and as self-defeating as it may be, the progressive caucus and progressives would abandon him if necessary, if this was to be the policy of this administration into 2012. If it's necessary to find somebody else to run against him, I think they'd do it, no matter how destructive that may seem at face value."

Whao do voters think might challenge Obama in 2012? Forty-four percent (44%) say Hillary Clinton is at least somewhat likely to do so, with 18% who say it’s very likely.

Radical Communist Green Czar Resigns

Admitted communist, radical revolutionary and a 9-11 "Truther," Anthony Van Jones, resigned early Sunday morning. Perhaps the state run media will report this story now.

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama's adviser Van Jones has resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday.

Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs" with the White House Council on Environmental Quality was linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the 2001 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

The resignation comes as Obama is working to regain his footing in the contentious health care debate.

Hey Obama, where are the 600,000 new jobs you promised this summer?

On June 8th Barack Obama promised to speed up the Stimulus projects over the summer and to "create or save" 600,000 jobs.

The US lost 443,000 jobs in June.
The US lost 247,000 jobs in July.
The US lost 216,000 jobs in August.

Instead of creating or saving 600,000 jobs this summer the US lost 935,000 instead.
