Interesting: Pole dancing tries to morph into a respected sport...

Sounds like some of the changes will take a lot of the fun out of it, but they appear to want to become an Olympic sport or something...
Here, her move was officially the "FM10," and for good reason: The meet's organizers want to reform pole dancing into a sport respectable enough to go to the Olympics.
So they've written a rule book that gives code names to compulsory moves, specifies scoring methodology and bans pole-dancing staples such as removable articles of clothing. And they'd like people to call their event "pole sports" now.

"We're trying to be stricter here and become respected as a sport," said Florenza Pizanis, 43, a pole-dancing coach in Dortmund, Germany, and head of the International Pole Sports Federation's technical committee, which wrote the rules and applied them for the first time at the London championships.

Among the written regulations: no dancing "in an overtly erotic manner"—banned, for example, is "gluteal dance"—and no "hats, canes and anything that is not considered attached to the costume."
Regulation is the latest advance in pole dancing's evolution from strip-club staple toward serious sport. The pole has already won some global respect in recent decades, and organizations have formed in various regions to press its cause.

Unlikely: House assistant Democratic leader claims Demos will be running on Obamacare in 2014

Bring it on...

Via The Hill:
The House assistant Democratic leader said on Sunday that his party will campaign on President Obama’s controversial healthcare law in 2014.
“We will be running on Obamacare in 2014,” Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) said during an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“In fact, we set it up to run on it in 2014,” he continued. “We fully expect to run on it, we expect to win on it. The American people will be the winner.”
Clyburn noted that major provisions of the law are expected to go into effect on Oct. 1 and Jan. 1, 2014, leaving Democrats little choice but to make healthcare a part of their midterm election campaigns.
The Obama administration announced last month that they were delaying a mandate for companies that employ more than 50 people to offer healthcare until next year, which Republican critics suggested was a sign of trouble for the law.

Sarah Palin:
“I’m on team Rand. Rand Paul understands. He gets the whole notion of don’t tread on me government. Whereas Chris Christie is for big government and trying to go-along-to-get along in so many respects,”

Obvious: Dingy Harry Reid views Obamacare as a step toward single-payer...

Harry Reid thinks Obaamcare is a stepping stone to single-payer.Why wouldn't he? Liberals and democrats have used this form of creeping socialism for years. Mainstream Republicans are too stupid to realize what is happening.
In just about seven weeks, people will be able to start buying Obamacare-approved insurance plans through the new health care exchanges.
But already, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is predicting those plans, and the whole system of distributing them, will eventually be moot.
Reid said he thinks the country has to “work our way past” insurance-based health care during a Friday night appearance on Vegas PBS’ program “Nevada Week in Review.”
“What we’ve done with Obamacare is have a step in the right direction, but we’re far from having something that’s going to work forever,” Reid said.
When then asked by panelist Steve Sebelius whether he meant ultimately the country would have to have a health care system that abandoned insurance as the means of accessing it, Reid said: “Yes, yes. Absolutely, yes.”

After being caught trying to destroy conservative groups, the IRS moves on to small businesses...

More than half the small business owners identify themselves as Republicans or right-leaning independents ...

Via Fox News:
Small business owners across the country are receiving letters from the IRS questioning if they are reporting all of their cash income, in a new push by the agency some are saying could unnecessarily create fear in the small business community.
The Wall Street Journal reports the initiative is an attempt to respond to what the agency feels is a widespread failure by small businesses to report all their cash sales.
The agency says the letters are not the same as an audit, and it is simply seeking more tax information from the businesses. However, some lawmakers and business owners who received the letters say the initiative is alarming.
"There's an emotional thing when you get a pretty ominous-looking letter from the IRS, [saying] you might have done some bad things," small business owner Tom Reese tells the Wall Street Journal. "I really work hard with my accountant to make sure that I not only follow the law, but follow the letter of the law."
One letter the IRS sent is headlined, "Notification of Possible Income Underreporting." It notifies the business owner "your gross receipts may be underreported" and says they must complete a form "to explain why the portion of your gross receipts from non-card payments appears unusually low."

Help target conservatives and the IRS will give you a promotion...

The same thing happened with the supervisors responsible for the "Fast and Furious" gun running operation allowed thousands of weapons to get in the hands of Mexican drug lords. Instead of punishing the people responsible for fiascoes, Obama promotes them. Is it payment for keeping quite?

Via Fox News:
The IRS official in charge of the exempt organizations office in the Cincinnati branch at the time conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status were unfairly targeted just got a promotion.
Cindy Thomas has been appointed to the senior technical adviser team for the Director of Exempt Organizations.
Thomas, a 35-year IRS veteran, will fill the spot vacated by Sharon Light. Light, a one-time close adviser to Lois Lerner, is the sixth senior IRS official to leave the agency.

Via Daily Mail
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s crusade to rid the City of all things unhealthy has taken aim at various fattening foods and harmful products like cigarettes and trans fats. He even once tried – and failed – to ban large containers of soda within New York’s five boroughs.

But Bloomberg’s now gone a step further – not only does hizzonor not want you to smoke cigarettes, he doesn’t want you smoke fake cigarettes, either.
