Hilarity: Amtrak CEO Forced To Take Car After Train Breaks Down

To make matters worse, he was on the way to a ribbon cutting for the renaming of Amtrak’s Wilmington train station in honor of Vice President Joe Biden.

(The Daily Caller) — Today’s the big day for Amtrak’s Wilmington train station. It is being renamed in honor of Vice President and former Delaware Senator Joe Biden following major renovations made possible with stimulus funds.

One problem: the CEO of Amtrak got stuck on the train.

ABC News Deputy Political Director & Political Reporter Michael Falcone tweeted at approximately 10 a.m. that the Acela train he was riding had been “delayed” in Baltimore and that he was sitting next to Amtrak CEO Joe Boardman.

Falcone tweeted, “Acela to NY delayed for ‘unknown period’ Should I feel better that the Amtrak CEO is sitting next to me?”

It quickly became apparent that the CEO’s presence wouldn’t fix the train. A subsequent tweet from Falcone noted, “BAD sign: Amtrak CEO Joe Boardman just got OFF the train to take a car to Wilmington.”

He traveled with President Obama on his recent trip to India.

President Obama is unable to give Today Show host Matt Lauer a good reason as to why he hasn't talked to BP CEO Tony Hayward about the spill and clean up. When pressed by Lauer, Obama said:

"Look, I would love to vent. I would love to shout and holler because I am thinking about this day in and day out."

I thought President Obama was looking for some "A$$ to kick" in-between his many vacations. Hmm... Perhaps Obama is afraid BP CEO Hayward will ask for a campaign donation refund.

White House Records Show Private Residence Visit by ACORN CEO

According to the White House visitor's log, ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis visited President Obama's residence one week before the sting videos were released. There is no record of her returning since that date.

Interestingly, the full download uncovers almost 30,000 records, including many from outside the mid-September time-frame detailed on the White House site. In other words, only the records from the specific two week time period are viewable on the White House site. Many other visitor records were released today…they are just much harder to find.
