Heartache: Russian Newscaster who gave Obama the finger has been fired

The Russian Newscaster who gave Obama the finger in a live newscast has been fired. The station claims she was giving the finger to some of her coworkers off screen.

A top Russian female newsreader who appeared to defiantly show US President Barack Obama her middle finger during a live newscast has been fired. Online footage of the incident involving news anchor Tatyana Limanova went viral in both Russia and the West causing REN TV, her employer, huge embarrassment.

To broadcast bosses’ horror, Ms Limanova was caught mechanically raising her left arm and showing the camera her raised middle finger after referencing US President Barack Obama.

REN TV, a privately owned channel controlled by associates of Vladimir Putin, the prime minister, said on Thursday it had decided to take her off air calling her actions “unacceptable” and “unprofessional”.

“On 14 November during the ‘News 24′ programme the presenter Limanova made an unacceptable gesture that was a synonym for an offensive expression,” it said in a statement.

The channel, which is broadcast to 120 million people, claimed the gesture was intended for her colleagues in the studio rather than for President Obama.

ACORN Caught In Another Lie By Big Government

ACORN claimed they fired Juan Carlos Vera of their National City office for "unacceptable conduct" after he was caught on videotape giving advice to a pimp and prostitute who wanted to start an underage brothel to funnel money into a political campaign. One of the 20,000 documents retrieved from a 'dumpster dive" outside this office is Juan Carlos Vera's termination memo. Big Government has released the document. ACORN actually "laid off" Mr. Vera due to “restructuring” related to “videotaping incident." If this scandal had blown over, it wouldn't be hard to imagine Mr. Vera getting his old job back.

The documents were thrown out in advance of state investigators arriving at the local ACORN office to conduct an investigation resulting from national media attention. ACORN employee Juan Carlos Vera was videotaped giving advice to two individuals posing as a pimp and a prostitute regarding underage prostitution and human smuggling. Without admitting any wrongdoing ACORN terminated Mr. Vera, or so they said. Documents provided to BigGovernment.com show that Mr. Vera was not terminated but was simply laid off, implying that Mr. Vera is also eligible for rehire. (The document also notes that Mr. Vera was laid off due to “restructuring” related to “videotaping incident.)

Fired inspector general Gerald Walpin slammed Barack Obama today for the "most incredible smear."

Last week, Dear Leader fired inspector general Gerald Walpin after he identified millions of dollars in AmeriCorps funds that were wasted or misspent. The man in charge of Americorps is a top Obama supporter and friend. Mayor Kevin Johnson used AmeriCorps grants to pay volunteers to engage in school-board political activities, run personal errands for Johnson and even wash his car.

Today Team Obama said he was "confused" and had to be fired!!

Walpin responded:

"I think for them to say that I was disoriented was an amazing, amazing slinging of mud... Frankly what they're saying, anybody who knows me and everybody who knows me and those people who've heard me on television, those people who've heard me on radio, know that this is the most incredible smear that has ever occurred to someone only because he's standing up to the most powerful machine on earth."

Teacher Claims He Was Fired For Not Airing President Obama's Inaugural Address

If you are a conservative and a teacher, you need to watch your back in Lawrence, Kansas. Tim Latham claims he was fired for not airing President Obama's inaugural address and having conservative views. School administrators have 'no comment'. Fox News reported:

Tim Latham, who has spent the last 19 years teaching students American history and government, spent the past school year at a high school in Lawrence, Kan. — and it appears his first year at the school will be his last.

Latham claims it has nothing to do with his abilities as a teacher and everything to do with his conservative politics.

Latham — who was criticized for not airing President Obama's inaugural address during an American history class — says he first realized during a meeting last September with Assistant Principal Jan Gentry that his personal political views weren't making the grade with the rest of the faculty at the 2,000-student Lawrence High School.

The 44-year-old teacher filed a grievance earlier this month with his district after his contract was not renewed in April. He argues the district didn't follow the proper process.

"It's gross misconduct," he said. "[The district] jumped straight to non-renewal."

Several calls placed to Gentry, Principal Steve Nilhas and District Superintendent Randy Weseman were not returned. Kansas National Education Association Director Bruce Lindskog could not be reached for comment.

The Employee Free Choice Act (card check) is costing jobs now. Many employers are facing the difficult task of what to do with their excess workforce in these slow economic times. Many are choosing to have a traditional layoff. My own company has been forced to have a layoff. However, fear of passage of the Employee Free Choice Act is forcing some companies to make the difficult decision to permanently fire employees. These fired employees will not have recall rights. If they are rehired, they will have to start all over for wages and benefits. Why is this? Fired employees can not be a part of a unionization campaign. If they have signed cards or sign cards in the future, these cards will not count under the EFCA. Most employers believe the 'card check' legislation will pass this year. President Obama supports this legislation and democrats control both houses of Congress. The House of Representatives has already passed this legislation. Employers are terrified of how easy it will be to unionize their workforces when this law passes. They are taking every step possible to prevent this from occurring. Unfortunately, this has a bad effect on employees who are being downsized.
