Obama supporters vandalize "Repeal Obama" billboard

Where are the stories of Tea Party vandalism? That's what I thought.

Via Breitbart News:
Vandals defaced a Sarasota County Republican Party anti-Obama billboard over the weekend in Venice, Florida, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune:
Vandals this past weekend extensively damaged a Sarasota County Republican Party billboard with the message “Repeal Obama.”
At about 8 a.m. Sunday, Sarasota GOP Chairman Joe Gruters said he received an email notifying him about the damage to the sign at the U.S. 41 Bypass and Center Road.
Someone with a cutting instrument removed the word “Repeal,” the GOP’s website address and its financial disclosure statement but left the word “Obama.”
“This wasn’t kids,” Gruters said. “It wasn’t an easy job.”

New Anti-Obama Billboard: Change me. I stink. (video)

President Obama supporters are outraged at a billboard and several signs put up by a New Orleans man. One depicts Obama in a diaper with the caption, "Change me. I stink." One moonbat councilwoman called the police. They couldn't do anything because free speech is protected for now.

NEW ORLEANS -- There are several political signs attracting all kinds of attention in one Uptown neighborhood.

On Wednesday, crowds gathered at the corner of Calhoun and Coralie streets, looking at several signs depicting President Barack Obama as either a dunce, a puppet or a crying baby in a diaper...

The signs have created such a firestorm of controversy, though, that police came to the scene-- called in by City Council Member Susan Guidry. She represents the district where the home is located. Guidry said she was concerned about public safety and was trying to figure out if the sign was even legal. She also said she spoke to Reily, but didn't get far.

The name of the person or group who paid for the billboard isn't known.  WHNT has more on the story:
The corner of Capshaw and East Limestone Road hardly qualifies as a bustling intersection, but a nearby billboard has been getting the area attention.

Controversial Anti-Obama Billboard Taken Down After Threats

The left shows it's intolerance again. An Anti-Obama billboard in Grand Junction, Colorado has been removed after threats. Previously, leftists tried to set an anti-Obama billboard in Gladewater, TX on fire because it compared Obama to Castro. Leftists also torched a semi-trailer twice and burned a man's house over the message "Democrats - Party of the Parasites."

The Grand Junction Sentinel reported:
Downey said the owners of the billboard company, Bud’s Signs, removed it after receiving threats from people who didn’t care for it.

Its artist, Paul Snover, said Thursday the controversial billboard that depicted Obama in several caricatures would remain for at least a month. He didn’t return e-mails or telephone calls to say why it’s been taken down, or if it would appear elsewhere.

Video: New Billboard Depicts Obama as a gay man, a Muslim, a gangster, a communist and a Mexican bandit

A new anti-Obama billboard was unveiled in Grand Junction 4 days ago throws everything but the kitchen sink at President Obama. Is the billboard over the top? I think so, but you decide.
The 20 x 10 billboard off of I-70 references just about every anti-Obama meme. It depicts the President as a gay man, a Muslim, a gangster and Nazi, a communist, and a Mexican bandit, among other caricatures. The various Obama caricatures are seen gambling with sacred American icons like an American soldier and Uncle Sam as vultures and rats labled 'IRS' and 'Trial Lawyers' watch.

The owner of the billboard has decided to conceal his identity, but Paul Snover, the artist who helped create the billboard, told KJCT In Grand Junction "we wanted to get people to think a little deeper" as the election approaches.

The truck sign campaign is the brainchild of Media Research Center. For the next four weeks, they will have four billboard trucks encircling the offices of ABC, CBS, NBC and The New York Times.

The billboard trucks will be deployed in multiple cities.

CNS News reported:
Similar trucks also are operating in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, passing the offices of the broadcast networks, the Washington Post, CNN, the Newseum, the National Press Club and Politico, and ads about the campaign are running on numerous Web sites and on conservative talk radio programs.

L. Brent Bozell III, president of the Media Research Center (MRC), the parent organization of CNSNews.com, said the goal of this 2010 “Tell the Truth!” campaign “is simple: to force the liberals in the media to stop pushing an agenda and just tell the truth.”

New Anti-Obama Billboard Links Obama to Hitler, Mao and Socialism

The anti-Obama billboard is on Highway 71, heading to Kansas City, in Missouri. It has captioned pictures of Hitler, Mao and Obama. The billboard captions Obama as a "Democratic Socialist" and says:
"In troubled times, the fearful and naive are always drawn to charismatic radicals"

The billboard was put up by a group called Francis Marion Nation LLC. Their business statement says:
"We can honestly say that, we (the 'Angry Americans') are tired of the socialist abuse of our kindness. Hence, it is our mission to identify those socialist leaders, allow them to face the scrutiny and humility of America and educate our citizenship on their destructive (sic) purpose and goals."

The group also has an anti-VAT tax billboard in Kansas with "You Liar" and a picture of Obama. You can see that billboard here.

Kansas College Takes Down Billboard Because of its Proximity to an Anti-Obama Billboard

I can't understand what their problem is, but Barton Community College in Great Bend, Kansas is taking down their advertising billboard because an anti-Obama billboard is directly above it. The anti-Obama billboard above their college billboard is completely accurate and acceptable. The anti-Obama billboard says,
“Obama is a fraud. Demand resignation now. God bless America.”
I can't imagine what their problem is with the billboard's message.

Full story is here.
Barton Community College will take down a billboard near its Fort Riley campus because of its proximity to a politically charged billboard that calls President Obama a fraud...

The college’s billboard on Interstate 70, near Exit 300, is not associated with the political message that appears above it, college officials said. The political message states: “Obama is a fraud. Demand resignation now. God bless America.”

Controversial Anti-Obama Billboard Removed in Iowa

After receiving criticism from tea party members, a billboard comparing President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin was taken down Wednesday morning and replaced with a public service announcement.
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - A billboard created by an Iowa tea party group comparing President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin has been removed.

Kent Beatty, the general manager of the company that owns the billboard, says a North Iowa Tea Party representative called Tuesday night and asked that the sign in downtown Mason City be removed.

Beatty says his company replaced the sign Wednesday morning with a public service announcement.

The original sign showed photographs of Obama, Nazi leader Hitler and communist leader Lenin beneath the labels "Democrat Socialism," "National Socialism," and "Marxist Socialism."

Some tea party members criticized the sign, and North Iowa Tea Party co-founder Bob Johnson acknowledged the pictures overwhelmed the intended message of anti-socialism.

Obama Drove Past "Where's The Birth Certificate Billboard" This week

We have to wonder what President Obama was thinking as he drove past this billboard.

WND reported:
NAVARRE, Fla. – Barack Obama had a close encounter of the eligibility kind today as his motorcade drove past an electronic billboard on Highway 98 here asking the question, "Where's the birth certificate?"

The trip was part of Obama's tour of areas hit by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, and the billboard was courtesy of WND's 13-month continuing campaign to raise the issue of the president's constitutional eligibility for office.

Is this where Obama's original long form birth certificate is stored?
