Demo Dirty Tricks: Robo-Call Claims Rand Paul Supports Legalizing Meth Labs

I received a robo-call this afternoon from the Kentucky Leadership Council claiming Rand Paul wants to legalize meth labs. The caller repeated this claim several times. The Kentucky Leadership Council is a shadowy Democrat supporting group that hides their donors. According to the Daily Caller, they have launched another robo-call campaign claiming Rand Paul isn't a Christian. Both claims are false. The group directed me to a one page website containing a YouTube video. The website doesn't directly repeat the same false claim about meth labs, but the video does claim Paul supports legalizing drugs. Rand Paul is quoted out of context in the video saying,
"things that are non-violent shouldn't be against the law"

Rand Paul made the comment in response to a question about helmet laws and whether adults should have the right to either gamble or buy lottery tickets. Conway has previously used Paul's out of context statement in a political ad that Politifact judged false.

The Kentucky Leadership Council has spent $132,000 trying to defeat Rand Paul and throw the election to Democrat Jack Conway. Here is the false video ad, posted on YouTube, the robo-call is directing people to watch.

Conway has run the slimiest campaign of anyone besides Alan Grayson. He deserves top lose for that reason alon.

The voice on the robo-call had what I would consider to be an Eastern Kentucky accent.
