Holland first EU country to abandon the EU-wide target of producing 20 percent power from renewable sources

Nuclear Energy in the 21st Century: World Nuclear University Press

Sanity has arrived in Holland. They are slashing their subsidies for wind and solar power and started building a nuclear plant. This will be Holland's first new nuclear plant in 40 years.
“Holland thus becomes the first country to abandon the EU-wide target of producing 20 percent of its domestic power from renewables. This is a remarkable turnaround from a state that took the Kyoto Agreement seriously and chivvied other EU members into adopting renewable energy strategies. The FT reports that instead of the €4bn annual subsidy, it will be slashed to €1.5bn.
Will sanity ever come to the U.S. government?
