Auto Bailout Unpopular With Consumers

Fifty-four percent say the bailout of GM makes them less likely to by a GM car. Twenty-seven percent are completely avoiding GM.

Rasmussen reported:
Think the auto bailouts are still unpopular? Fifty-four percent (54%) of Americans say they are less likely to buy a General Motors car because the federal government is the automaker’s majority owner.

No wonder the government and GM are desperate to sell out the 60% of GM owned by the US government. They are actually considering selling GM to China.
