NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg launches a national campaign to make it easier for you to get shot in the back


New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg wants to repeal laws that allow you to defend yourself from serious bodily harm or death. Does Bloomberg know we don't all have 24 hour armed bodyguards like he does?
WASHINGTON (AP) - New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is launching a national campaign against gun laws that he's says "justify civilian gun play."

Bloomberg was joined by leaders from the NAACP, National Urban League and other groups Wednesday at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. as he announced "Second Chance on Shoot First."

The campaign aims to repeal or reform the laws that eliminated a person's duty to retreat when threatened with serious bodily harm or death. The laws have passed in 25 states.

Bloomberg says these laws undermined integrity of justice system, threaten public safety and make it more difficult to prosecute shooters. Keep on reading...
