Did the Underpants Bomber Slip Through the Cracks Due to Fear of Muslim Profiling?


Did the underpants bomber slip through the cracks due to fear of Muslim profiling? The Prowler at the American Spectator is reporting that information. According to this article, we had plenty of information about Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. We gained this information under agreements with foreign governments put in place after the September 11, 2001 attacks. However, we failed to act on it because of changes in policy by the Obama administration to reduce the perception we are profiling Muslims.

When Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was placed on the British government's watch list in May 2009 and banned from entering the country, the U.S. embassy in London (and by extension the U.S. State Department), as well as U.S. intelligence agencies, were notified of this move as part of information-sharing agreements entered into by a number of Western governments after the September 11, 2001 attacks...

Of course he did. PC will destroy us. I just heard this morning that The Netherlands is saying US officials cleared this POS to fly.
