VP Joe Biden: gun control laws could have prevented some of the deaths in Newtown, Mass.

The claim smaller ammo magazines would have saved lives is highly questionable. It doesn't take much time to reload clip fed weaponry. Watch the video posted below.

Vice President Biden gave an impassioned plea for Congress to double down on new gun-control measures, including an assault weapons ban, by suggesting the laws could have prevented some of the deaths in Newtown, Mass.
“For all those who say we shouldn’t and can’t ban assault weapons,” Biden said, also mentioning limiting the capacity of ammunition magazines. “How can they say that? Take a look at those 20 beautiful babies.”
Biden, who met Thursday in New York with Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Newtown families, said that if the gun-control measures would have saved just one life in Newtown, it would have been worth it.
Biden also suggested that Adam Lanza might have been killed sooner had he had to spend more time reloading.
“Think about Newtown,” Biden said. “Think about how many of these children or teachers may be alive today had he had to reload three times as many times as he did.”
Biden is confused as always. Adam Lanza wasn't killed. He killed himself after finishing his horrific act. Also, Lanzea often only fired 15 rounds from his 30 round magazines before frequently reloading.
