Obama Admission: Democrats "Snuck in" Provisions That Violate His Pledges

President Obama accused democrats of sneaking in provisions to health care reform that would allow bureaucrats to come between people and their doctors. He called these provisions stray cats and dogs. If he had followed through on his promise to put all the hearings and negotiations on CSPAN, those stray cats and dogs probably wouldn't be in the bill.

I think he has been advised to come more towards the center and that is the rationale behind what he is saying

Hey All,

I don't understand why they don't just scrap this bill, and start all over again.

It seems to me that they should want to pass a GOOD bill, and not something that the President even says he doesn't agree with.

All they really want to do is get thier foot in the door.

It's much easier to change a word from "voluntary" to "mandatory" then it is to pass a strong bill.

So for now, they will vote for something that says "voluntary", and then change that to "mandatory" some time down the line.

It's called incremental indoctrination.

They'll tell us two years down the road that this "voluntary" thing isn't working.

Just scrap the whole thing, and pass a GOOD bill.
