I saw this video last night and read the interpretations. As much as I dislike Biden and think he is an inept buffoon, I have to say I think he is being misquoted. I listened repeatedly to what he said, and, as a notoriously fast-talker myself, it sounds to me like he said (rapidliy) "There's never been a day in the last four years I haven't been proud to be his vice president." I say it the same way at times -- it sounds like "hav'm been." So I give Joe a pass on this one.
