On a dusty block in Phoenix, 15 years of the Quintana family’s possessions are for sale.
Manuela Quintana said that they decided to leave when the Arizona governor signed the new immigration law.
For years, their family thrived with jobs in restaurants and construction, reports CBS News correspondent Kelly Cobiella. Their 10 children were born here and are U.S. citizens. Both she and her husband are undocumented, and currently unemployed.

All I can say, as an Arizona resident, is that my teenage son will finally be able to find a job.
Also, mom and dad are illegal and they have ten kids that were born here? Does that mean my tax dollars paid for those ten births?

The amount of strain that these ILLEGALS poses on the welfare/social security/Medicaid system far outweighs any benefit of having them reside here. Kick 'em out, keep 'em out, without a doubt.
As for "anchor babies", that has no bearing on the parents themselves. You as a parent made the choice to come here illegally. If you're caught, you're deported. Your children now have to make the choice to leave with you, or care for themselves. We're tired of hearing how the big bad government is tearing these Mexican families apart. The amount of financial pressure that these illegals impose on LEGAL working citizens can tear THEIR families apart. I think not only should employers be in trouble for hiring them... Landlords should be in trouble for renting to them. So I dont feel bad for the landlord either. Im sure they would be strict on renting to any American criminal... and with Americans loosing thier homes, Im sure if they dont try to rape people, they will find decent tenants who ARE legal.
I am so tired of Arizona being attacked by so many cities, government officials and foreigners ( President of Mexico). If the morons would take the time to read the FEDERAL LAW AGAINST ILLEGAL ALIENS they would see that Arizona's law mirrors the federal law. Maybe our sob sisters should go to Mexico and protest seeing as how Mexico's law against illegal immigrants is 100 harsher than ours.

I don't feel bad for that land lord at all. That's what you get when you rent to illegals. If he was renting to convicted felons, would anyone feel sorry for him if all his tennants violated their parole and got sent back to jail? Would the media feel it news worthy? I doubt it.
I would think that if they really wanted to stay that sometime in the last 15 years they would have completed all the required paperwork and processes to become legal.
Obviously, that is was high on their list of priorities. One would think that they would understand the potentials after all this time and would have made some kind of preparation for this day.
All of you are on the money. My girlfriend married a sailor fifteen years ago and moved to NYC from the Dominican Rep. He left her there with a child to raise on her own. She worked up to three jobs at a time, got her green card and after ten years of trying, finally became a naturalized citizen. How is it fair that Mexicans get a free pass and the rest of the world has to do it the hard way?
I'm from Arizona and I'd gladly trade 10 worthless American's on the Welfare system for one hard worker legal or illegal immigrant. I'm tired of the "There are no jobs because the illegals", that simply is not the case. What erks me equally is the people in this country illegally being here for a decade, have not attempted to achieve even a work VISA. Truth is that American's born or naturalized, must make ever attempt to get our own to be more productive ans self sufficient, that stop relaying on the government to be the shoulder to cry on, and Dads wallet to pick from. Please stop listening to the load voices on the left and right, and make get educated on what is best for American. We may need to suck it up because what may be needed to make America great again, may not be best for you.
For our jingoistic American's it takes more to be a patriot than wearing and pin or waving a countries flag, we really don't need more sunshine patriots, we need really get involved, take pride everyday in my work American's.

As for the kids, give the parents the option of leaving them them behind or revoke their legal status and take them with them.

Thumbs up to Arizona! I wish Ohio would enact a similar law. There are way too many illegals here, too. A family was caught the other day. They sympathizers are blaming the government for breaking up a family whose parents have been here over 10 years never bothering once to become legal. They suck up our jobs and our resources, not to mention our tax dollars. Please, let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. Go home! But, if you are here legally, you are most welcome!
