Katie Couric is concerned Arizona's immigration law makes illegals “no longer feel welcome”

Hmm... Legal immigrants are welcomed by most Americans, but, according to a CBS poll, the majority of Americans think Arizona got it right with the new immigration law.

NewsBusters
reported:
Most support Arizona’s impending immigration enforcement law and a solid 78 percent think the federal government should do more to keep illegal immigrants from getting into the U.S. where, Katie Couric noted in citing the new poll numbers, “hundreds of thousands of them now live in Arizona.” So, how did CBS take these hardly surprising findings? Couric fretted “many” of those illegals “no longer feel welcome.”

Instead of seeing that as good news...

Did you watch or listen to Katie Couric? She said "Kelly Cabielle reports that many illegals may no longer feel welcome" She was not giving her opinion, but rather stating what a journalist was reporting. Do some research, and pay attention.

Why did she bother to report on that aspect of things? Why did she choose to highlight that opinion?
