More view Obama Presidency a failure than Bush at same time period

Thirty-seven percent of Americans view Obama's presidency as a "failure." At the time period of the Bush administration, only 32% considered his presidency a "failure."

From Real Clear Politics:
A rather surprising finding from the newly released CNN poll. Question three on the national survey of 1,136 adults (which includes an oversample of African-Americans) asks, "Do you consider the first six months of the Obama administration to be a success or a failure?"

Thirty-seven percent (37%) said they believe the Obama administration is a "failure," while 51% consider it a "success" and 11% say it's still "too soon to tell."

An identical question was asked of the Bush administration in an August 2001 CNN/Gallup/USA Today survey. , 56% said the Bush administration was a "success" while only 32% considered it a "failure."

Just imagine what Bush's numbers would have been if he had actually DONE anything by this point in his adminstration! Other than playing golf, that is.

Please remember your profound interest in poll comparisons when Obama is at the point that Bush was discovered as having taken us, with lies and deception, into a needless war in Iraq.

Bush passed a huge tax cut in his first six months. Obama has only passed a failing stimulus that is busting the federal budget. Bush also had to deal with the aftermath of the most contentious and divisive election in memory. Yet, he still had better poll numbers at this point than Mr. Hope and Change.

Bush had to deal with comparatively in the first six months of his presidency and it only after 9/11 that he faced his first major challenge. Obama faced challenges from day one - most stemming from the failure of the Bush Administration. What do you honestly see as success of 8 years of George Bush?

-- I'm not an Obama supporter per se by the way - I've voted for Ralph Nader the past three elections.

Wow. He gave away money to people, and he STILL retained his popularity? Go figure!
